Rainier Delivery really came through for us. Moving is stressful and we were having a hard time, honestly, getting ready for the move and worrying about what stuff we'd need help with and how much we could move on our and and... Anyway, this was an in-town move. Alex and co. showed up early and got to work right away. Their communication was great, and they were very courteous and thoughtful with our stuff. They were very clear about any requirements they had (for example, the BBQ had to have the ash dumped out before they could take it), though they were minimal. We had asks of our own-- for example, the hardwood floors were still being refinished so we were very worried about scratches and dents. They said no problem, remembered our concern, and when they got to the new place put down pads in the entry and hallways to minimize their impact. They never dragged or slid anything. They had their own tools for disassembling large pieces of furniture and reassembled in minutes. Crew was fully equipped with pads, plastic, tape, etc. They got an amazing amount of items done in a short period of time... when you're paying per hour, that's something you might worry about. Not here. The overall cost was cheaper than other bids we received, but the service was excellent. Also, we received a cash discount, which was worth the stop at the bank for us. At the end of our 4 hours, I think our blood pressure had dropped at least 40 points. Moving stinks, these guys were the opposite. Worth it! read more

I've never left a review for a business due to laziness and also because no business has really compelled me to leave a review but lo' and behold, we decided to hire Rainier Delivery for my parents' move and I actually feel obligated to leave a review. Hiring movers is one of those things where you read a ton of reviews but at the end of the day sort of throw a dart at the wall and pray things go well. I can say that Rainier Delivery is the best I've seen. They were courteous, fast, professional, and honest. What else can you hope for in any business? Everything was protected and they did a beautiful job also moving tricky items like an upright piano and a very heady Korean stone bed. Alex and his team also helped us do other small odd-end jobs like securing a bookcase to the wall and taking down a DirecTV dish. Alex said he was going to grab coffee on the way to the new house. I appreciate his communicating with me but what I didn't realize until after his crew left was that he deducted .25 hrs for the coffee run. Wow. I had the best experience using Rainier Delivery!They made my move so effortless and easy and stress free! I messaged them on Yelp about 3 weeks prior to my move and gave them an inventory list of what I had and they got back to me with a reasonable price which was extremely competitive for Seattle. Scheduling was very easy! They also sent confirmation reminder. On the day of the move they were scheduled to arrive at 9am and they actually arrived on time! I was moving from a walk up building on the 3rd floor in the South seattle to an elevator building in downtown. They got to my apartment at 9am and were finished unloading everything downtown by about 12.30 it could not have been quicker or easier. They moved every single thing I had, I didn't have to lift a finger and they also asked where I would like everything. They took my bed apart and set my bed up for me upon arrival and nothing was damaged. They provided blnkete for around the big furniture and mattress bags for my mattress to ensure everything was protected and it all included in the hourly rate. The movers were so nice and so professional, I would 100% use them again next time and recommend them to all of my friends. read more

My wife and I recently purchased our first home and we hired Rainier Delivery for our move. They were easy to work with and helped us move our home quickly which was essential as we have a 3 year old. The movers on the day were all very professional and courteous and the move organizer Alex was very good at working with us to make sure everything was brought over correctly and that we didn't leave anything behind. We had a few things that were in the middle of being packed that they helped get sorted and on the truck and overall it was a very pleasant experience. They broke down and then assembled all the furniture requiring it which was a huge help as well, even helping setup our TV to the TV stand which they don't typically do. They were also one of the more affordable options we found that was still a very established company with clear expectations of the move. We priced out some other big name moving companies and I can't imagine we'd have gotten better service for the (at one place) $100 extra dollars per hour over Rainier Delivery quote. I chose Rainier Delivery based on their high reviews. I spoke with Alex, who was very polite and helpful. I scheduled my pick up and delivery date for the same day. They were on time and professional. Alex and his employees moved about 14k pounds of household goods from one end of the state to the other. Alex continued to check with me on site to make sure I didn't have any questions and that I was happy with their work. At the end of the day he had me walk through the house again to see if I needed any boxes or furniture moved to a different room. Alex's attention to detail and customer service makes his business stand out well above others I have used in the past. In addition to being such hard workers I was also impressed with the cost of the move. This company was well below what I had anticipated and had been charged in the past by other companies. We used Rainier Delivery this past December to help us move from Kent to Federal Way, and we couldn't have been happier with their service. This was the first time using movers, so we were slightly nervous about what to expect. I reached out for a quote through Yelp and Alex responded within 24 hours. I reserved our date over the phone the following day, was provided an estimated arrival window and was advised on how to prepare. I can't remember who I spoke with on the phone, but he was so helpful even when I asked a really ridiculous question about a fish tank. On moving day, our movers (Alex, Paul) showed up almost right at the earliest projected arrival time and began work quickly and efficiently. They even were really nice about our dog who was a little growly that day, which I thought was sweet. Our move was done in less than 3 1/2 hours, even though it was freezing. I recommend them to everyone. I had a lot of belongings to move, boxes and furniture. I explained I need to have a large truck. Alex was very accommodating, he answered my emails, my phone calls and sent 2 trucks for my move. They were both filled. I had Paul and Vlad as my movers. These two young men were polite and efficient. They helped me pack items that were still in need of packing. Not one complaint, the pace was steady and they took such great care with my furniture. They wrapped each and then shrink wrapped it. Not one scratch or broken item. My move took 12 hours because of all the packing we had not completed. Then my daughter needed her storage items moved after all my stuff was moved. It was such a relief to have everything moved. If I could give 10 stars to a Rainier Delivery, I would. From start to finish, the experience was beyond our expectations. From the intial phone call, Alex was responsive to our inquiry, answered all of my questions, provided clear pricing, and set expectations along the way about what to expect before and on the moving day. Movers arrivied on time, took a look at the items that needs to be moved and start loading non-stop! They took great care in packaging our items, and not a single thing was broken, misplaced, or scratched. They placed our items in the appropriate rooms and ensured everything was the way we wanted. Second move with Rainier Delivery. First move went a year ago, so it was a no brainer to go to them again versus other moving companies. Showed up at 9:00am at the dot. Pleasant, easy-going, they scoped out what I wanted to move and got right to business. First floor 2 bedroom to a first floor 2 bedroom across Federal Wayand they were done in less than two hours. Then again, I was super organized unlike some folks. Six bookcases, chairs, heavy credenza, large flat screen tv, three tables, queen bed and more. 10 minute drive to the new place. Nothing was damaged in the least. They wrapped blankets with shrink wrap over a lot of my stuff. Mattress bag so they weren't dragging a mattress through dust and dirt etc. Thought the hi-def TV would be at risk. Nope. Course I tipped the guys. Stellar work as usual without attitude that I experienced with another unnamed mover. Highly recommended. read more

What a great company! I spoke with them on the phone and via email a few times leading up to my move, and they were always very friendly and answered all of my questions.Two people showed up and moved all of our stuff from Federal Way to Kent.  They were incredible! So friendly, professional, and fast! They did a quick walk-through with us to discuss what was moving, what was staying, and what was fragile. They moved everything out of our two bedroom apartment (at times carrying 4 boxes at once), and moved everything into the new place quicker than I imagined. They were very careful with all of our stuff (not a single thing broke), and they ensured the truck was empty before they left. We really appreciated the level of service these two provided. I used rainier delivery upon my move to federal way from Renton and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I contacted them via email and they quickly got back to me with a quote and answered all of my questions. There was also no minimum amount of time I had to reserve, which was great. The two movers sent to help were efficient, friendly and didn't bat an eye at having to move everything up a tight stairwell to the third floor. I was impressed at how quickly they did everything, and did not dawdle at all. They even helped put my bed frame together when I needed help. Lastly, they did all of this at 6 p.m. on a Sunday evening. Every other moving company I was in contact with wouldn't do weekend or evening moves. Alex and Danny showed up as scheduled and immediately began working efficiently and carefully loading for the first location - a storage unit. During the entire process both men were courteous, professional, and very open and responsive to our requests. The 2nd trip was just a s smooth and easy, and Alex didn't blink an eye when we asked if he could move some heavy furniture to the garage for re-sale. We just recently did a local move in the Federal Way area. I had an amazing experience with the team that came for my move. You can always get frustrated during these times of moving but I was at ease during the entire transition. They were on time and moved extremely fast. Also the work crew asked me nicely where I wanted my items/personal belongings when we arrived at the new apartment. They were able to put everything in place swiftly with no damages and always asked first before moving the furniture. Also, they seem to overquote at first but it came to be much less than what they told me which was comfortable especially for the amount of time it took them. I had a fantastic experience with Rainier Delivery, moving from Federal Way to Tacoma. From the thoughtful booking process to the actual movers, I was very pleased. I'd worked with other movers before, but never for a residential move. It was very easy to book them. Some moving companies will send about five emails talking about how they're the best, like I didn't do any research already. Rainier Delivery is not one of those companies. My movers were polite and professional, and I couldn't have asked for two, more hard working guys. They had a solid process worked out and were very open about how things were packed, how much time it would take, etc. They were talkative and lovely, even while passing me on the stairs. II would 100 % recommend this company.. I called last minute to have them move me. There was no extra charge for this, they were on time and showed up ready to work. They were very comunative and worked hard the whole move. Their guys all had positive professional attitudes and i am not a easy person to move. Besides having so many stairs at my apartment, needing to drop stuff off at 2 locations, i also have a lot of stuff. They were great from start to finish. I was also happily surprised when i walked into my new place and they had set up all my furniture, and my bed. I don't think good, hard working companies get enough praise these days. Rainier Delivery was highly professional and made my move pretty seamless. The overall pricing was competitive, they tell you their hourly rate right away, there is no extra charges for stairs as well! Pricing is very reasonable. The move itself went very well. The team wrapped up all my furniture in protective materials, blankets and plastic wrap, before moving it and got it over there exactly as needed. We had pre-packed most smaller items, but they helped to pack some of our remaining items in their boxes. No drama, no fuss, just everything moved in a timely manner. They were unloading items very efficiently and placing furniture exactly where I wanted it to be. This is an extremely late review, but I still feel the need to say this. Rainier Delivery is an amazing company. I needed to move from Federal Way to Kent and they were fantastic from the person answering the phones, to the guys loading and unloading truck. The estimates were fair and they were true to their word. The teams that showed up were on time and were courteous and efficient. Having to perform a move is stressful enough, but all to the horror stories I hear about companies holding property hostage, not showing up and being just plain rude scared me to no end. Let me tell you, being an Air Force brat and ex-Army myself, I've moved and been moved around A LOT! These guys absolutely killed it! I mean, by far the best movers I can remember and I'm not even sure I can convey how good I feel about them through Yelp.
