From the very first phone conversation, I told the person on the phone who gave me a quote I needed packing and moving help. I mentioned that I had a kitchen fridge and stove to move as well. 2 quotes later, neither one of them were listed correctly under the kitchen section. I tried to change it myself online as soon as I realized it but the portal was not user-friendly. I sent an email stressing that I needed both packing and moving of heavy bedroom furniture help and the kitchen appliances too. Then I called to alert Eco Movers personnel to my email asking that the "quote/estimate/contract" be corrected to reflect the changes accurately. The changes were not new information, they were just a correction to the errors that were on the original/initial quote. The worker called me and told me not to worry because the quote was just an estimate. This is not true as I found out the hard way. Once you sign the "quote" it becomes a contract that they can and do enforce. Like the weekend policy of them charging you for a minimum of 4 hrs even if, in my case, the workers only worked 2.5 or 3 hrs. The movers showed up to my home and informed me that the "contract" did not specifically stipulate that they would pack anything. Days earlier the worker on the phone assured me they could and would supply moving boxes and other "packing" materials and I could pay at the end for whatever I (via their workers) used of their packing materials. He even said the movers would supply special boxes for dishes and kitchen glasses and other fragile items. This turned out to not be true. When they arrived, the movers did not have any boxes to use to pack up my home except for 3 or 4 small boxes sitting in their truck. I would have needed at least a dozen or so large/heavy duty moving boxes. I used none of their boxes or packing materials but they tried to bill me $46 for "materials." When I asked what this "materials" fee was for I was told it was for their fuel for their truck. Last I checked fuel is not called materials, it is called fuel or gasoline or diesel. We don't go to the materials station to get gas or diesel for our cars and work trucks. We go to the gas station. Gas is very expensive right now and Diesel fuel is about $6.00 per gallon. If you are charging for gasoline/diesel fuel just say that in the initial "quote" and on the final bill so that the customer is fully informed ahead of time. I complained that this was a deceptive way to bill customers (by calling fuel "material" and not fuel) and they took that fee off of my bill. They moved my large dresser mirror downstairs, into their truck and later into my storage unit and didn't bother to wrap it or try to protect it at all. That is very lazy work. Also, they accused me of having something in my home that I absolutely did not have. I explained to all 3 of the movers and their manager on the phone that it was just burnt candle wick cuttings but they terminated my move after 2.5 hrs and billed me for 4 hrs. I paid the 4 hrs bill but I will NEVER recommend Eco Movers. They completely ruined my move. read more

Just be mindful that the storage rate is per crate, not a set amount so you'll want to really 'pack in' as much as you can in the boxes. read more

HORRIFIC experience -- DO NOT USE ECO MOVERS This was hands down the worst moving experience of my life. I trusted Eco Movers based on a prior decent move, but this time they were completely unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful. First off, there was zero communication. I called daily for updates, and for four straight days I was blatantly ignored. Every time I was promised a call back -- crickets. My delivery date was a complete mystery until the last second. When my things finally arrived, my walls were scratched and paint was ripped off during unloading. And despite paying for furniture assembly, I had to chase the movers to do the job -- and when they did, it was sloppy and rushed. Furniture was assembled with loose bolts and unstable parts, clearly not done with care or competence. To make matters worse, I was overcharged by $2,000, multiple boxes arrived damaged, including my television, and absolutely no one took responsibility for the chaos. Eco Movers has become an unreliable, irresponsible operation that should not be trusted with anyone's home or belongings. I will be filing a chargeback and warning as many people as I can to avoid this disaster of a company. DO NOT USE THEM. You will regret it. read more

Fantastic Customer Service. I have used Eco Movers both professionally and personally for my most recent home and office moves. The customer service each time was great leading up to the move and the onsite crews were not only friendly but efficient. The pre move estimates either were spot on or they beat it. These guys took good care of our stuff when loading and unloading. Throughout the move, if there were questions the movers made sure to ask or answer. If you can swing it, I would definitely recommend the packing services. I had never used packing services until my house move and let me tell you, it saved our family so much time. They packed everything up and staged it for the moving services the next day (making move day really efficient). We were fortunate to have the same crew that packed us and moved us ( I hear it can be different crews). Definitely recommend these guys without hesitation. The team was very on-time (arriving at the top of their arrival time frame), very professional, and made sure nothing being moved broke! Their prices were also incredibly affordable which I super appreciate, and the movers were very friendly. It was easy to give instructions/requests without feeling like I was bothering them. Thanks to their service style, based on time rather than weight/space, it was easy for me to add a few things that I forgot to add to my initial estimate. I moved into a building with four floors and without an elevator, and the two of them were easily able to handle that. I guess I was given two movers because the space was small, so it took a little longer in some areas than I expected, but the price was still too good even after taking longer than I expected. The one note is that I really wanted to avoid having shoes in the home on any carpet (since I'd had it steamed cleaned) and it seemed like they didn't have enough carpet runners/mats to make that happen :( but luckily it was a dry, sunny day outside and it was okay. read more

I was impressed with the service and attention to detail all the way from booking through final sign off. The team showed up at the top of their delivery window and immediately got to the work. They were courteous of not only my belongings, but the building. Not one of my items got damaged, nor my walls thanks to how well they protected everything. Unloading was also a breeze. They made sure to ask what room to place things in. And a side note - these folks are STRONG. Hostile to people with disabilities. I have an auditory processing disorder, which is a recognized disability. It's difficult for me to understand people over a poor quality call, whether that's bad reception or no noise cancellation. The Eco Movers sales rep I talked to did not seem to believe in, or care about this issue. Obviously, I don't think highly of businesses that treat sales leads this way. I filled out a quote request on the Eco Movers website. It took about two minutes for the Eco Movers rep to call. He started with what sounded like a "canned response" introduction. It was hard to hear the details, or even get his name because the call, as I stated above, sounded like it was on speakerphone in an echo-filled room. That is, there was no noise cancellation on the call. With my auditory processing disorder, the call might as well have been nothing but noise. When I brought the noise issue to the rep's attention, his only response was, "oh wow, I've never heard that before, no one has told me this before." It took some effort to get the rep to try again--which had no effect--and then to get connected to another rep who maybe could provide a better quality experience. After a minute on hold, the rep said no one else was available. That's when I ended the call. Look, I get it. You're in customer service, and you probably have to slog through a billion awful customers a day, and you probably don't get paid much. I'm not here to criticize anyone individually. I do think Eco Movers has dropped the ball here, though. Is it really that hard to get some noise cancelling headphones for your reps? Is it really that hard to give them some basic training to accommodate people with disabilities? Businesses have a responsibility to do better by all of their customers, especially those who have disabilities, and especially when the fix could have been a $50 headset. read more

I ordered three movers and a 26 foot truck from woodinville for a one day apartment move. The estimate amount included the requests. on the day of the move, two movers showed up with a small truck and a much higher rate. They had come from Tacoma and even though I booked weeks in advance, there was nothing else available. I had to help them move to get the job done, and the price was hundreds of dollars more even though i had to back the next day with a U-Haul to get the rest of my stuff. I've used Eco-Movers twice and each time I use them I've been so happy with my service. Every mover is super nice and they're so prompt. The only thing that's ever slowed them down is traffic and a lack of elevator reservation. The team is super communicative and flexible with handling last minute changes to inventory. And they don't use a lot of tape or disposable material unless you wrapped it yourself (and then they'll unwrap it for you on the other end). Excellent service, next time I move I'll be calling them! If I could give zero stars, I would. We hired eco-movers to help with our move from Seattle to Denver in the last few weeks. We sourced several moving companies and compared bids. We made sure to ask for the same services from all companies so we could have comparable bids to compare. Eco-movers came in with the best bid. Fast forward to the day of and the crew was over two hours late to arrive which pushed back our whole move schedule. They were rushed and packing feverishly. (We hired them to pack our kitchen as well). The rushing certainly showed on the other side when we arrived in Denver to find nearly every box had a liquid explode and leak all over the other items in the box. Things were crammed in, several items broken. Additionally, we had them go to our storage unit (three minutes down the road from our house) and pack that. The storage place closes at 9 PM and my husband had to help load in so we could do it in time. He spent three hours with the crew to make it before close. Not ok. The very worse part is we get to Denver to find that our final payment was $4000 over the original estimate. 25%!! We were shocked but they had our stuff, what to do? We took it up with the claims department and went round and round and could never really figure out what the charge was for. They said it was first that packing wasn't included in the original bid (their mistake), then it was because they needed to pack more than the kitchen (not true, they did give us some boxes which we happily will pay for but that's not 4K) and then it was that they could only charge 125% of the original estimate and they went over (again, WTF) and could offer us a credit. All in all after several emails back and forth, we settled with a $1200 credit which is minimal to 4K of overages we can't get straight. If I would have known this was the final price, I would have gone with another mover I used before and had a great experience. My mistake. HORRIBLE. read more

You do get what you pay for, they're probably a little higher end from an hourly rate, but Niko and crew were professional, efficient, and careful picking up and moving things. If you work with the Tacoma location, you can expect several holes being put into the walls of your home. and when you reach out to the Tac office for compensation, they fight you tooth and nail. they send 2-3 men for big jobs and then upcharge you when they take too long, without fail. I spoke to both Jesus and Jessie and they were absolutely no help. if you are moving in/out of the Tacoma location, just use college hunks. absolutely 0 stars. they also will send Tacoma movers out across the state and charge you the ENTIRE time for drive time, do not recommend at all. read more
