Nora made picking a unit easy! They have a good variety of sizes to fit your need. We will definitely use them again.

I decided to contact company as they were open to my input, however, they were only able to give me a $20.00 dollar discount. So now I pay $334.75 that started in December. Gee that's still a $95.75 increase. Even the rental markets for apartments only go up 10%. I do not recommend this company as I still feel like they gouged me and took advantage. I was able to see less cost for similar storage than current pricing before I decided on Secure Space and I hope all company's don't do this. If I had known they would do this I would have chosen another, closer to me, storage unit. I feel like I'm locked in as getting stuff to storage was costly and to remove it will be also, so I guess I'm stuck. Customer service through company office is not consistent and what reflected at office is not always same as talking and securing on line. One has to follow up to guarantee pricing. I will compliment the office staff as they are sympathetic, helpful and personal and units appear secure. I'm not sure these 2 benefits are worth the $98.00 monthly increase. I do plan on getting my things removed ASAP but that's dependent on circumstances currently waiting upon. I can't wait to vacate and save $100. Per month. Ask questions and get contacts in writing and do not assume they will be careful with you through honesty and pricing.

So I tried calling and no one at the front lobby would answer. I climbed in my car to go out so i could get to the front office to talk to someone. I called again and again and kept talking to someone at the Fife location and they said we don't see any movement in the Nalley Valley Office. I recently wrote an honest review after the place sent me an email with a request for me to write a…read morereview for them. I am very honest and fair and never just write a review that is 5 stars or 1 star because I am emotionally charged or anything. My hope is someone will see my review and have an honest view of what to expect. 2 days after my review of this facility the manager woman I have never seen before handed me an envelope with a smile on her face and said my lease is being terminated and I have till the first to get out. She said I had multiple violations accessing the property after closing where my gate code was used. I told her that was impossible because I am very vigilant about abiding by all the rules and I promised her there is nobody who can show a single piece of evidence backing that claim. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager; so I asked to speak to someone above her and she said that I was not allowed to speak to anyone above her but she would let them know I would like to speak to them, but not to get my hopes up because these decisions are almost never reversed. I said this feels very much like I'm being discriminated against and that I'm disabled and the unit is very important to me. I repeated that I never broke the rule and nobody ever mentioned me violating a rule to allow me to make sure I never did it again and she said I was seen in the parking lot past 10pm and that is considered a violation. Me making a phone call after leaving my storage before I drove to my next destination is the claim after she realized I never accessed the gate with my code after hours and that was a bogus claim. I cannot believe I am being kicked out because I didn't give them a 5 stars review. This is the most childish behavior and to smile in someone's face when you know you are making a decision that is going to make a persons life extremely difficult is so messed up. How someone can enjoy that moment is disturbing. I used to be a Forman working up on the light rail and even when I had to fire someone who definitely deserved it, I felt terrible delivering that news because I was causing unknown hardship for him. This woman looked like it's her favorite thing to do. Save your money and energy and go to a nicer place with a better staff. These people were the worst, and their units were horrible too. I suggest going to pearl street self storage if it's convenient for you. Thank people are very nice and the units are the best I've ever seen. I can't write enough to describe how horrible secure space is. Don't go through what I went through and go somewhere else

Horrible experience we basically got scammed and told it was our fault. Read this review and make…read morethe decision for yourself. First off I'd like to say that the assistant manager has top-notch customer service and is an example of a great leader and person who should be running a business. 5 Stars for him. Now this review is about the owner of store. As you can see in the first photo, that is the level of the gas gage when we left the Facility. After using their cargo van, we went to fill up the gas before bringing it back into return. We filled the gas in increments of $10 and checking the gas gauge to make sure we weren't overfilling it more than we needed. Once we hit $30 I was thinking to myself we must've used quite a bit of gas. We continued to fill the vehicle until the gas pump clicked, indicating that the tank was full and that was $50 later. Yet the gas gauge still showed that we didn't have enough gas in the vehicle. That is why I made the video so I could bring it in and show it to one of the associates. As you can see the gas gage after filling it didn't go up at all. I thought to myself no big deal it's a faulty gas gauge they'll take care of us when we get back in there to return it. Upon arriving we explained to the owner of the store exactly what happened. He immediately got defensive denying any responsibility over his business and equipment and told us that we should have filled the gas based on recorded amount on the invoice that we received and to disregard with the gas gauge showed. With the insanely high fees that they charge if you don't return the vehicles with the right amount of gas no way. We just wanted to inform him that he had faulty equipment just in case another customer had to deal with the same issue. I don't know what was going through his head when he decided that telling us to disregard the gas gauge was going to be a good solution to tell us but it seems like he pulled it out of nowhere. After explaining to him, we trusted that your equipment was working so we filled it up based on the gas gauge like we always have. He basically made us feel stupid and said that it was our fault and that he's not responsible. The crazy thing is we didn't even ask for a refund so I didn't understand why he was so defensive and immediately jumped to it's not his responsibility. I come from a very large family 8 siblings who all used this location for many years and have never had any issues until dealing with the owner of the store. We basically got scammed and I have a feeling that this isn't his first rodeo doing this to paying customers. Word of advice if you are reading this drive down the street to another location. Or at the very least wait to work with any of the other employees working there and stand clear of the owner and if you're wondering who he is trust me, you'll know just from the disgusted/ irritated look on his face that's impossible to miss. Everyone else will greet you with a smile and will gladly take care of you. Hope this helps, and I hope the owner of the store uses this as constructive criticism to be and do much better.

Set up a reservation online to rent a cargo van and came in to get it. Rep. Donisha Hindman…read moreexplained that since I only use debit cards even though they have a Visa logo, I would be unable to rent one due to U-Haul policy. I have rented cargo vans before at this location with the same card and never encountered this issue. Granted, U-Haul's policy could have changed since the last time that I rented but I doubt it. My wife made a comment in a normal tone of voice about the change in policy and how off putting it was a customer and Ms.Hindman's response was snarky and rude. Ms. Hindman led me outside to show me what she COULD rent me all the while saying to herself and anyone that was in listening range - meaning me - that she didn't want to hear complaints about policy from customers. We understand that Ms. Hindman does not set the policy and that she has to abide by it for her job but she does not get to be rude to the customer about it. My contract states that I rented the truck from Thursday morning at whatever time I rented it and was to return it Monday, June 26 by 7 am. I have a full time job in another city that I have to be at, at 8 am. so I brought the truck to the shop and dropped it off Sunday night, dropping the keys in the locker thing. I personally came in at 7am today, Monday, June 26 to get my final close out bill and was told by the clerk that I could not get it because he had other things to do. Let me say that again.....a customer is in the shop and the clerk is saying that he could not help me because he had other things to do and that he will get around to it. I would love to tell you his name, but can't because he did not have a name tag on. He had reddish hair and a full beard. When I dropped off the truck Sunday evening and placed the keys in the locker, there was a sign that said that the truck remained in my name and my responsibility until the shop opened in the morning. When I was leaving the shop, after having been told that I was not important enough as a customer to be serviced right then and that he would GET AROUND TO IT, he casually mentioned that he would have to add on a $20 charge because it was a convenience to drop the truck off and use the locker. I'M SORRY? A CONVENIENCE? My contract states that the truck is mine until 7 am today, the truck and the keys were there at 7am, I was there at 7am. When I finally received the bill about an hour later via email, granted the $20 was not on the bill but to be told that I was facing a new and unexpected fee was a slap in the face and to be told over and over again by him that he HAD to charge it because it was in the contract - after I got to work, it wasn't in there - i read that one page print out that shows my signature and no mention of it. Every year there is a local Comic-Con in the area, not to mention the local Toy Shows that I attend and I have always used U-Haul and rented from this location in the past but I will no longer be returning - there are plenty of other truck rental places out there that do not have this level of customer disrespect and nickel and dime-ing. EVEN IF I HAVE TO GO OUT OF MY WAY to use them.
