I decided to contact company as they were open to my input, however, they were only able to give me a $20.00 dollar discount. So now I pay $334.75 that started in December. Gee that's still a $95.75 increase. Even the rental markets for apartments only go up 10%. I do not recommend this company as I still feel like they gouged me and took advantage. I was able to see less cost for similar storage than current pricing before I decided on Secure Space and I hope all company's don't do this. If I had known they would do this I would have chosen another, closer to me, storage unit. I feel like I'm locked in as getting stuff to storage was costly and to remove it will be also, so I guess I'm stuck. Customer service through company office is not consistent and what reflected at office is not always same as talking and securing on line. One has to follow up to guarantee pricing. I will compliment the office staff as they are sympathetic, helpful and personal and units appear secure. I'm not sure these 2 benefits are worth the $98.00 monthly increase. I do plan on getting my things removed ASAP but that's dependent on circumstances currently waiting upon. I can't wait to vacate and save $100. Per month. Ask questions and get contacts in writing and do not assume they will be careful with you through honesty and pricing.

My sister was moving her stuff to Virginia and sent an email way ahead of time to make sure she got the correct truck size to go into the gate. When the truck arrived she refused to let the truck on the premises even though it met the requirements. She then made new requirements up and when the truck driver said that his truck was what she tried to say it was. I asked to see the policy, she said it was in the lease agreement. I asked to see that and she said oh it's not in there. I would not recommend this place. This is just my encounter. My sister was treated poorly by this same lady on several different occasions. This was a move from Las Vegas to Tacoma so it was a 26 foot truck with a car carrier. We were told by Penske that there would be no trouble returning the car carrier first since it's hard to unload a truck with the car carrier in its place behind the truck. We get there to return the car carrier and the 2 dimly lit lightbulbs they had employed there refused to allow us to return it. They told us we could go outside and call Penske if we didn't like their response. My wife and I both stepped outside, telling them we'd be right back. The minute we walked outside the 2 ladies shut and locked the door and closed the business leaving us standing outside in the rain with no ability to return or even discuss the manner. I've worked customer service for years and at no point do you leave a stranded customer like that, it was beyond unprofessional. I called the next day and they were completely unapologetic and could care less about trying to resolve the issues. This is a garbage business with garbage employees
