The park has many permanent residents, spots for long-term stays like ours, and several pull-thrus for overnighters. Not easy to get a reservation but well worth it if you can. Price is very reasonable. The park is kept very clean, laundry facilities are wonderful and not too expensive ($1.25 per load washer and dryer), and there is a sweet little stream running through the park sided by a large grassy area that was wonderful for our dog to run and play. No one objected to him being off leash there, but he comes when he's called, so I'm not sure how people would react to a dog that isn't under control. There were some ducks in the stream and a little bridge that crosses it. We felt very safe here and had quiet neighbors. There was noise from Trosper Road, but not more than the usual two-lane road, and certainly better than freeway noise would be in some of the other parks. Fred Meyer, UPS/fax store, Albertson's, Wal-Mart, and Costco nearby, also gas and coffee shops and other smaller stores. We would love to have found a house in this area. Would definitely recommend this place for short- or long-term stays.

I used this company a few years ago for a move and it went OK. The rate was good and they did a…read moredecent job although I asked their movers to mask because we are immune compromised and one of them removed her mask right in our faces while we were paying which I did not appreciate and was dangerous. This time the crew was 45 minutes late because they went to the wrong address during the first part of the move despite me being very clear, repeatedly, where to go. That was very inconvenient and my mom had to wait around in her car outside a storage unit while I kept having to message to ask what was going on and barely got a response. I received the final invoice and paid it immediately with a nice tip anyway. A couple days later I started getting a bunch of emails from the company saying that I hadn't paid. I sent them a screenshot of the $0 invoice balance and the transaction on my credit card. It had the name of the owner and a transaction ID and their ZIP Code. They continued to message me every few days saying we didn't get your payment, you must've sent it to the wrong place, they even sent me another invoice like they expected me to pay again. I kept telling them to check in on their side and that I didn't know what else to do. I provided ample screenshots showing that I paid and they kept blaming me and trying to bill me again. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company which was painful because I'm disabled and making phone calls hurts me. I didn't know what else to do because this is not a small bill and the company wouldn't stop bothering me. Finally they made a call themselves and immediately sorted it out which they could've done in the first place and then they apologized to me and said yes you did pay right away it was an error on our end. This was a complete waste of time and completely unprofessional. It's not appropriate to harass a customer who paid, who has clear evidence of paying, instead of just doing your due diligence and trying to resolve the issue without making me feel doubted and blamed for days. I can't recommend this company and I'm very angry about the way I was treated. Harassed for something that wasn't my fault at all and that they could've resolved with one quick phone call on their end instead of bothering me when I had just moved and they know I'm disabled. Avoid this company.

From the moment they arrived to signing the paperwork at completion, the entire move had only taken about 2hrs and 20mins. They worked efficiently, carefully from what I can see and saved me $ with their hard work. Being able to work on unpacking/organization while the movers worked was soooo worth it. I heard Garage Plus has hired some pretty aggressive security guards, like the Sheriff's Department and private contractors to "drain the pond" per say. It is now under completely different management and it has turned into a very trustworthy place to store cool stuff. I know there used to be some illegal activity there but it seems so much better. I would be scared to store my car there the last year or two, but now I have only seen positive things coming from Garage Plus. I love it there. They are located in a great part of town. John is the best example of great customer service. He took all the time needed to answer all of my questions. He was also available to give my husband a tour of what he had available on his lot. They provide 24/7 security which was one of the main reasons why we chose to store with them. Sure, there are cheaper places to rent from, but no other lot out there could provide the type of service and security that John does over at Cobalt!

If you choose to rent here, read your agreement. The lease agreement limits storing gasoline or propane. Unfortunately, if you store an RV, boat or a car you have propane on board unless you remove the tanks. If so, you are in violation of their lease agreement. Today, I received an email from management saying I was automatically being enrolled in a insurance policy to protect me and my assets from liability for as little as a cup of coffee per month, but adding $60.00 per year to my rent. Really, they are requiring this to protect them from damages should my items in storage cause damage such as a fire, which I understand. While requiring proof of insurance is common in this industry, most personal insurance companies will provide this which they failed to mention in their email. I am asking my insurance company to send them certificates, listing them as additional insured. The owner is just trying to sugar coat a rent increase and not being candid about his mission, or giving customers the option to have their personal insurance company provide a certificate of insurance.
