I called and spoke to Ginger who agreed to wait for us to arrive even though it was past closing time. We hurried to arrive and were greeted with a friendly welcome and did not feel rushed even though she had to stay after hours to give us our entrance card and keys. I have always had excellent customer service from Ginger, above and beyond. James has also been very helpful and I strongly recommend their facility which has bigger carts than their competitors, so you don't have to make so many trips to the unit. Although I am moving even further away from their facility, I chose to rent their instead of somewhere closer to my new address because of the excellent customer service and clean, modern facility.

I was also in formed that I would not et my money back even though it was the same day that I opened the unit. So two days later I closed it and told I would no longer be using the unit. Carts for example are extremely rare to come by so expect to carry all your heavy stuff in and out or rent your own dolly. They claim to have all these things you can use when you come but we've often waited around an hour for a cart to be free or just gave up. We are military and needed the value they offered but it's not convenient and they really pushed us to take a unit on a higher floor with the assurance that carts are easily available etc. not true and we've been here over a month now. Also the elevator system sucks if you are alone and trying to carry your stuff- you have about 30 seconds to get from the entrance door to the elevator before it locks. Can't express enough how frustrating this is making our move. I do not recommend unless you really don't care how long and hard moving in your stuff is- it's going to be a nightmare getting out unless we leave it up to military movers. Blegh.

Got a storage unit to store some things while getting my house de cluttered and ready for sale. I…read morerent the second week of the month, and they prorate so I pay to the end of the month. Rent is now due the first of every month, with 10 days notice of when I will vacate.I always paid at 5-7 days before the 1st. Towards the end of Feb. I go in to pay for March and tell the lady, I will be out the 9th of March. She says, you know we don't prorate, I say, you prorated when I rented it, her response well we do that at first but then it's on a month to month. I said i was not told that, her response was oh sure you were. I tell her there's nothing fare about what they're doing. So now the next person who rents A131 through the end of March will be paying for what I already paid for. What a scam Happy to report that I received a phone call telling me that there was a misunderstanding when I checked out, because I was out on the fourth of the month I indeed would not be charged for the month of March. Looked it up this morning and my account had indeed been credited. Hopefully this can be used as a training issue.
