On two separate occasions our property has either been stolen or damaged on property with the owners refusing to to help us identify the party responsible despite having cameras on the area where our property was stored. My bill has always been paid in full and ahead of time. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. I understand that I am homeless but I am a human being and deserve to be treated as such. We have been discriminated against and restricted access to our unit for claims of "loitering, leaving trash and numerous other things" but refuse to provide proof when requested in hopes that we would move out. I haven't even checked my unit in 2 months now because I don't look forward to our next interaction with staff. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone even if I was paid to! Unfortunately being homeless the price for a unit anywhere else at the moment for the size needed is unattainable anywhere else. read more

I stored my RV there with a false sense of security. Have cameras everywhere that doesn't give them any information. My catalytic converter was stolen on my Rv and when confronting front office she said this never happens and they would take care of it. Police came and said they are there on a weekly basis. I checked other RVs and they had replaced converters. The storage place was supposed to call me about the camera footage but never did. When confronted about getting the footage they said they only give it to the police if they ask for it. Bad place to store your expensive toy. Have had a storage unit here for quite a few years. The staff, location, ease of access, and overall quality is great. The ONLY thing my wife and I have had issues with is the rats/mice. I don't have the data to know if it was just our unit that was horrible or it's a systemic issue with the complex, but we had a horrific infestation that constantly left feces and urine all over quite a bit of our items, as well as chewing and damaging them. The office was told many, many times and they seemed to genuinely care, but the answer was to throw a couple sticky pads down and a few odor repellent satchels. It didn't work. We mentioned it several times, and even told the elderly gentleman who is apparently their "on-site exterminator"...all to no avail. Nothing changed, except to one day find a dead mouse in one of the traps that was left there. We don't go to the unit but maybe once every few months and this critter had to have been there a little while since our unit stunk of death. We threw the trap out into the alleyway and left it. We believed we had the understanding that they had feee reign to go in/out as needed to manage this issue, but apparently not. What the correct answer is for all of this, I'm not exactly sure, but what's the point of having a storage unit that can't seem to manage a rodent problem? read more

Don't store your RV here if you want it to be safe. They advertise the security they have but it is false advertisement. Someone used a code, went straight to our trailer and then used the same code to leave with it. The crappy video took a week to get to the police and even though there is a camera at the gate they somehow didn't get clear video of the person. There were also many inconsistencies in what they told the police. After the fact we found out that they have many issues here which they don't let the people that store their stuff there know. we would not trust this place with anything you find valuable. read more

Been using this facility for a couple years now. Staff is extremely friendly but they raise the prices a lot compared to other storage unit places I've used. In the notification letter they say it's for advancements or whatever but I've never seen anything. The units say it is heated but they are always freezing cold. read more

They charge you a $20 fee if you have been affected by the covid 19 pandemic. I have been a client for over to years and the won't wave the late fee. The governor of Washington has encouraged businesses and many have to waive late fees and work with the people that been affected do to covid-19. This place has no heart, spend tou money someplace else. read more

Got a storage unit to store some things while getting my house de cluttered and ready for sale. I rent the second week of the month, and they prorate so I pay to the end of the month. Rent is now due the first of every month, with 10 days notice of when I will vacate.I always paid at 5-7 days before the 1st. Towards the end of Feb. I go in to pay for March and tell the lady, I will be out the 9th of March. She says, you know we don't prorate, I say, you prorated when I rented it, her response well we do that at first but then it's on a month to month. I said i was not told that, her response was oh sure you were. I tell her there's nothing fare about what they're doing. So now the next person who rents A131 through the end of March will be paying for what I already paid for. What a scam Happy to report that I received a phone call telling me that there was a misunderstanding when I checked out, because I was out on the fourth of the month I indeed would not be charged for the month of March. Looked it up this morning and my account had indeed been credited. Hopefully this can be used as a training issue. read more

We have had our boat there for almost 3 years and while the people I have dealt with were nice and they have cameras everywhere, I have the following issues. 1. the spaces for RVs and boats should be wider and where our space is there is a curb and maneuvering the vehicle with boat having a curb in front of you...Bad design and my major gripe.... 2. They keep rising the prices and not by little bits, 11 bucks every time. We are coming up on almost $200 a month for our boat and they only reason we chose them was because our boat would be under a cover, but they are really starting to gouge their customers. read more

I love Gotta Mail It-Located in a small plaza in Graham, WA this is where you need to go if you have to mail something quick. They are both a storage company, and also have boxes to ship, or stamps to just mail a letter. They are always friendly when I go in and I can get in and out in no time. The owner also owns most other businesses in the plaza, there you can also wash your car and grap a mocha on the corner before you hit the road. read more

Had a communication issue at first which completely threw us off, as we're moving. However, the manager called me a couple days later and made everything right and now we're not having to stress at all! I just took off one star because of the stress for a couple days. I'm glad that they do whatever it takes to keep a customer and the way they handled our situation was very professional. At the time, they were changing policies/procedures (as the manager put it) and that's always good to do within any company. I just got caught up in the miscommunication :) I'd also like to point out that I love their security system and the fact their units are insulated/heated. Very awesome! read more

The raised my rent $25 on a $154 rental after 9 months. They said it will be increased every year. They take up to 20 min to pay my bill in person since there is only one employee there at a time..if that. The key pad is installed on the wrong sides of the entrance so you have to get out of your car on your way in and on your way out. Don't rent here, find another place thats not affiliated with this chain. read more

Pros: The staff at this location is always helpful and friendly. Rebekkah and Shaylynne know me by first name which is always a plus and; both will greet me whenever I come into the building. I am strictly a mailbox renter, no storage rental, but this place is always bustling with those who use both so that tells me that the storage renters like the service here as well. I use their mail facilities to purchase extras like boxes and tape when sending packages out-of-state and it's a breeze from start to finish. It makes all the difference when courtesy and friendliness abound and lets me know I matter. It's a plus that for the most part (see cons) I'm able to get in and out quickly. The facility is immaculate inside and out which speaks volumes about the owner and staff. Cons: The staff mans the desk for both the personal mailboxes and the storage units. Sometimes I have to wait to get into the building if they are serving a customer up at the storage units as they are located up the hill in the back of this main building. Subsequently they will put up a "will return shortly" sign on the front door. More than once I have had to either wait or return to access my box and get my mail. Still, the great customer service outweighs this minor inconvenience. read more

Avoid this place like the "plague". We were building a house and decided to use Gotta Store it. We used their services for the last 16 months. After 2 months we noticed rat feces. Notified the office. Their response was to contact our insurance. Rat infestation was not covered by renters insurance. Front office then said they will lay traps and request a copy of our key so they could monitor. They place sticky traps which did a great job catching rat droppings but no rats. Over time the infestation worsened. Our couch, chairs, dinning room table/chairs, canvas children's photographs, and daughters mattress/box spring ruined with rat feces, urine, and chewed. Contact the front office again and their response was to contact the insurance. Once again insurance does not cover this damage. Talked to Jeff who basically said there was nothing they could do because we didn't their additional insurance. So, if you care at all about your belongings DO NOT USE Gotta Store It. read more

Raven was quick to answer all my questions and was very friendly. She gave me very reasonable quotes. I left and went to a final company. I made a reservation online on advice of friends that this was a great place to deal with. I received a couple calls to confirm my reservation but do to my work schedule was unable to talk to anyone. I called on October 30th saying I wasn't able to get off work in time to come in and asked to change my reservation to October 31st. I called the number listed online and the person answered representing herself as employee of Gotta store it. I explained and she said no problem, we will change and see you tomorrow. I arrived at the storage facility after having packed all my possessions in a uhaul to find doors locked and a sign saying someone would be back. Ok, understandable. I waited in the rain until someone unlocked doors. I explained I needed to get a storage unit and she asked if I had a reservation and I said yes. She couldn't find it so I got my confirmation from my phone. She looked it up and stated "we tried to call you like 5 times and you never answered so we cancelled it". Ok, I explained my working and couldn't respond during their business hours but that I had called and was assured the unit was changed. She said she was the only one at the facility yesterday and she didn't talk to me. She said let's hope we have a unit available, basically placing all blame on me and making me feel put out. I definitely didn't feel welcome or that they needed or wanted my business. I started looking around for other units on my phone but she got a unit and I needed to get the uhaul back on time. After 45 minutes I had access and put all my stuff in the unit. I noticed the next day I had two charges pending from the storage facility and I called again. I was assured the second charge had been "deleted" and it should not go through. Both charges were posted on November 3 and my bank verified there was not a pending credit. I drove to storage facility and waited for 10 minutes as doors were again locked and note saying someone would be back. I explained situation to girl behind counter and she called a few people but couldn't get an answer. She said she would have to call me when she could get an answer. I honestly don't feel comfortable referring anyone to do business with you all and feel that there was absolutely no trying to make me feel like a valued customer or even a basic human bein. I do think the facility itself is great and the units are clean and well maintained. read more
