So for me to actually make a review that is negative.... It means that I've given this place not one chance but actually several! This is the worst place to get store YOUR Belongings! Do not do it. I had my storage for a few months, noticed mice droppings in the storage after a couple months. I reported it right away. They were apologetic and said they would get somebody on it. I went back three days later. Nothing happened and there's more droppings and now URINE! When I went to the front desk, there was a different woman at the desk I interrupted her on a personal call. She wouldn't even look at me. She wouldn't give me her manager's number or email. She said she can't get that information out. She said that they were going to have someone come and check it out but Company only comes out once a month for pest control. I explained , this is an emergency clearly there's rodents here that needs to be addressed . I was met with rolled eyes. I emailed the customer service department, they were actually very good! They Immediately escalated it to the managers so I was very hopeful. Unfortunately, my hope was short lived. I have been told they're doing everything to try to find out where the rodents are coming from. But in actuality, nothing has been done. It's been over a month . Nothing's been DONE! Now, several pieces of my nice wood furniture have been ruined and I have to go through my private HOME insurance. This is what secure space is banking on unless you purchased their own insurance..DO NOT WASTE ONE PENNY AT THIS PLACE!!!! I have given them too much time to fix this... I will be taking my stuff out of there! Just so you know, the ceilings are open with chicken wire. The rodents are getting in and jumping from storage to storage. I wish I would've noticed this before while I first renting this place. I hope I save somebody the heartache, stress and the money that I've had to deal with!!

It's amazing how much boxed up stuff we are able to put in this 7.5x10 foot unit. We've made three runs, two with packed truck and trailer, and there is still room for just about all of the rest we need to store. Lean and easy, and the covered unload area is great. Had the manager try my keys and when she couldn't get them to work she decided the best action would be to drill the lock out and replace with a new one. After the lock was drilled I couldn't get the door to fully open on the unit and when I noticed my tv had been thrown into it the door I looked further in and seen everything in my unit thrown down. Everything was literally piled in the middle of the unit, I left well organized. After I got the door open all my shoes, clothes, shoes purses etc was gone. In July I decided to use…read moreSecure Space storage with a locked in charge rate of $238.00 per month; it was a verbal confirmation. .....only to receive an up charge in October, 2 months after moving in, my monthly charge was going up to $355.00 per month in November. I decided to contact company as they were open to my input, however, they were only able to give me a $20.00 dollar discount. So now I pay $334.75 that started in December. Gee that's still a $95.75 increase. Even the rental markets for apartments only go up 10%. I do not recommend this company as I still feel like they gouged me and took advantage. I was able to see less cost for similar storage than current pricing before I decided on Secure Space and I hope all company's don't do this. If I had known they would do this I would have chosen another, closer to me, storage unit. I feel like I'm locked in as getting stuff to storage was costly and to remove it will be also, so I guess I'm stuck. Customer service through company office is not consistent and what reflected at office is not always same as talking and securing on line. One has to follow up to guarantee pricing. I will compliment the office staff as they are sympathetic, helpful and personal and units appear secure. I'm not sure these 2 benefits are worth the $98.00 monthly increase. I do plan on getting my things removed ASAP but that's dependent on circumstances currently waiting upon. I can't wait to vacate and save $100. Per month. Ask questions and get contacts in writing and do not assume they will be careful with you through honesty and pricing.
