**Zero Stars!!! TRUST THESE REVIEWS. DO NOT rent here. They will raise your rent in only a couple months by $100 or more. They will not notify you and you will only find out when you go to pay rent. The hours are despicable preventing you needed hours to move out. Just keep that in mind when you tell yourself I can deal with such short hours for the price but you will not get that benefit long. They have rude staff and do not pro-rate with their so-called "10 day move out notice" BEWARE!!! DO NOT LEASE/RENT here. I wish I hadn't had to move suddenly and need a place fast. The property is clean and secure. The units are definitely more secure than most other rentals I've experienced. Marty the manager was very helpful and went out of his way to walk me thru my lease and move in, Answered any question I had and gave me a detailed print out of my account and charges. At first I was feeling okay about renting because Marty was pleasant and kind and not pushy. Understanding and very positive and respectful. He Reserved a unit and parking spot for me so I could decide once I came to see it. I came in and told them I would think about it because the hours were difficult to work for me if they close at 6 and 4 pm. Access was the factor that held me back a little, but was considering how I could still do it. Then all of a sudden this Brandy lady starts calling me immediate the next day with hard core selling closing tactics. Throws her coworker Marty under the bus saying that he didn't know what he was doing and the dates were wrong, etc and so forth. It made me concerned about their office communications. Telling me reserving the spot didn't mean I actually had it and they could give it away if they wanted to before I made a decision. Pushy and telling me she could rent it over the phone with a credit card if I was ready. Excuse me!! First Marty was helping me and not being pushy like that, second was she trying to up one on him and get his commission? I disliked her demeanor and aggressiveness. I also had to reconsider parking my RV there with their broken down cars in the lot as their rust. The hours are cut short during the week to 6pm and 4 pm on week ends. So what would I be paying for? Empty space that I can't access? So I went on line to look at the reviews to see what others were saying and then it became clear. They offer low prices, get you in contract and then raise their prices a bunch shortly thereafter. So I went a little farther out of the area about 27 minutes in south hill and found a place with even better security, better parking and extended hours to 9pm and a guarantee that my price would only be raised once a year. This morning that Brandy lady called again (remember pushy aggressive trying to close the deal) and asked if I was ready to get going on the paperwork, as much as I wanted to tell her off for being so pushy and for throwing her coworker under the bus like he was an idiot, I held my tongue and told her I rented somewhere else. She is the reason I was motivated to look elsewhere and changed my mind the most. DO NOT PUSH ME TO DO SOMETHING OR BACKSTAB YOUR CO WORKER! So thank you for making me look somewhere else!it was a blessing!!! Your bully sales tactics do not work for me nor does your lack of integrity for being so rude about your nice coworker! How incredibly immature and stupid is that? The nice thing about reviews on line is you can't change them and others get to see what is truly happening. Read the other reviews before renting and get a balanced understanding of what you're coming into. This Brandy lady's needs some lessons in manners in customer service and supporting her coworkers. Her regional manager needs to retrain Brandy to be a more professional employee and not steal other people's commissions by throwing them under the bus and being so aggressive with her sales tactics. Not worth half a star I rented a unit when I first moved to Washington from Texas. My unit was burglarized along with 6 other units. My stuff wasn't covered or recovered because the storage facility forgot to sign they're end of the paperwork. So they straight up said yeah your SOL I had over $2500 worth of stuff stolen. The storage facility changed their hours without notice Changed my code without telling me Want to be able to drive by my unit and see what's inside! Wtf laterz not read more

I have been using this storage unit since June and have had mostly no issues! The people who helped me when I initially moved, and any time I've been in since, have been extremely helpful. When I first rented I was told that they were really turning things around and I can already see a difference regarding safety and upkeep since then. The only "issue" is that they close at 6 on the weekdays. Which means I can rarely access my unit due to my work hours which is a bummer. But other than that, I'm really happy with renting here! read more

People live here. Staff doesnt seem to notice or car. Gate broke and staff wouldn't allow me entry. During the day. Ill say that again in case you didnt get it... I made a reservation, rented, then read reviews, and thought....the ladies behind the desk were wonderful. They have a new manager, she isnt rude, her customer service is exceptional. The rest of the safe if equally wonderful. They are knowledgeable, they are kind, and it is obvious they all enjoy their job. I asked about the break ins they are no longer occurring, and there are camera. I was even informed that PPD monitors the grounds to ensure security. This place doesn't even qualify for a star. The absolute worst customer service. False advertising. Our storage was broken into twice. The first time the gate was broken for over a month. The second time the lady at the desk just shrugged her shoulder. Then charged 40 bucks for moving our stuff out early. We are paid up till Jan 5th. No cameras no nothing. Next I'm calling corporate. Mr Hutton helped me in the process of transferring storage units today, he provided great customer service, I needed help moving 1 large item out of my old unit to the new unit and he didn't hesitate to help me out, only took less than 5 minutes but saved me a good 20 minutes to try and find someone else.... I have had a storage unit here for 4 or 5 years now and haven't had any issues. read more

This place is absolutely the worst I've ever dealt with or my family has dealt with.. the lady at the desk is extremely rude. Didn't want to pro rate for my grandma and made my mom pay a whole extra month for being a little bit late. I was waiting for a couple to come pick up a washer and the lady said that if I wasn't off the property by 6pm then we would be charged more again. Not nice people. I would actually rank them a ZERO if possible..... my unit has been BROKEN INTO multiple times and despite installing additional security surveillance and upgrading their gate lock my unit has still been broken into with seemingly ease. I've asked their employee if she could review the footage which she said she'd do and then never contacted me to let me know the results and when I inquired she stated "oh yea, she didn't see anything" and another time I asked she stated she'd been sitting their the entire time and would have seen it if someone other than myself had approached my property and while making this statement her face grew increasingly more and more red then refused to review the footage. This last time I called to inform them that the alarm i had for my unit went off and requested they go look and see if anyone was in my unit and I just kept getting voicemail with no return call. So, my recommendation is that If you value your belongings/property and I'm assuming would like to keep them safe and in your possession then I recommend going just about anywhere else. read more
