Please be aware, as of December 29th 2025 my storage unit was broken in to and over $4500 worth of clothes, shoes, purses etc was stolen out of my storage unit. definitely seems like this isn't the first time for the thief(s). I arrived the night prior to my key not working on my storage unit lock and was told the office was closed and had to come back the next day, which is today December 29th. Had the manager try my keys and when she couldn't get them to work she decided the best action would be to drill the lock out and replace with a new one. After the lock was drilled I couldn't get the door to fully open on the unit and when I noticed my tv had been thrown into it the door I looked further in and seen everything in my unit thrown down. Everything was literally piled in the middle of the unit, I left well organized. After I got the door open all my shoes, clothes, shoes purses etc was gone. Barely been in this set of units 8 months. A month ago they told me they were going to increase the rent by 30% effective this upcoming cycle. Less than 30days notice. Now I just got a notice in the mail they are raising the rent ANOTHER 25%, less than 30days notice. Do NOT rent storage space from.this company!!! Katie the site manager is extremely knowledgeable in her field she explained everything in a way that made sense. She is very polite and respectful. The facility is very well kept up and clean. I'm writing this review on behalf of myself, but more importantly, on behalf of Bradley Stordock, who actually is the customer at Extra Space storage, located at 13015 Canyon Rd E in Puyallup, WA. I came in with Bradley, at the first of the month (April 2024) RIGHT before Cindy was about to close down the office. BUT! even though, she obviously knew we were new customers, so we were going to need more than just a few minutes of her time, she still stayed after her closing time, to ensure Bradley was accommodated. Not to mention our reservation online, I ended up putting in the wrong information, but Cindy was still able to fix, EVERYTHING (kind of an understatement). Cindy was one of the best managers I've ever dealt with, in renting storage units. She was so friendly but still professional at the same time. Brad and I could tell, she meant business, but was still very impressionable and definitely left a good first impression with him. I think Cindy deserves to have some special recognition at how well she does her job!! If I could nominate her as the most likeable, compassionate, but professional storage manager, I WOULD!! Anyone should be able to tell that she gets your needs met, while trying to find the most affordable rate she can offer someone. (Specifically, she was able to offer Bradley the online rate, which was significantly less than the normal rate for the unit he was needing, which was a particular sized unit. She only had 1 left, and she got Bradley in it, despite him not having his debit card on him right then, to be able to pay for it. He just made sure to come back in to see her first thing in the afternoon, when he had the chance.) If I could recommend any company for their storage needs, in Washington, I would recommend Extra Space, but more specifically, CINDY! She will take care of you! read more

I emptied my unit on Feb 14th. I never got an email confirming I was moved out. The employee told me my lock was still on. It wasn't. She later confirmed that it was a company lock. So I didn't give them the ten day move out notice. When I called it was about 21st. So my autopay had already paid through to March 5th. "Angel" said she could not refund me any money. Even if you add ten days from my move out day, then from February 24 to March 5 is 9 days. At $275/month, that's about $80 I lost because she "can't issue " a refund. Scam. Crystal took the time to explain forms, codes/access, and where the unit was located. Great place, fabulous management! I love that the manager lives on site! I moved my stuff in the 1st week of Sept with the plan on only staying until 10/1. I am moving from my apartment to my boyfriends but want to downsize as I go. It's been so nice at this complex I've decided I'll keep it for a while longer and take my time! Every time I go there I see the manager walking the complex checking everything out, the girls in the office are really nice, the units are very clean, awesome prices, very secure! I've had 6 other units at various other complexes over the past 10 years and this one is BY FAR the best!!! YOU WON'T REGRET RENTING HERE!! ;) read more
