I am very honest and fair and never just write a review that is 5 stars or 1 star because I am emotionally charged or anything. My hope is someone will see my review and have an honest view of what to expect. 2 days after my review of this facility the manager woman I have never seen before handed me an envelope with a smile on her face and said my lease is being terminated and I have till the first to get out. She said I had multiple violations accessing the property after closing where my gate code was used. I told her that was impossible because I am very vigilant about abiding by all the rules and I promised her there is nobody who can show a single piece of evidence backing that claim. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager; so I asked to speak to someone above her and she said that I was not allowed to speak to anyone above her but she would let them know I would like to speak to them, but not to get my hopes up because these decisions are almost never reversed. I said this feels very much like I'm being discriminated against and that I'm disabled and the unit is very important to me. I repeated that I never broke the rule and nobody ever mentioned me violating a rule to allow me to make sure I never did it again and she said I was seen in the parking lot past 10pm and that is considered a violation. Me making a phone call after leaving my storage before I drove to my next destination is the claim after she realized I never accessed the gate with my code after hours and that was a bogus claim. I cannot believe I am being kicked out because I didn't give them a 5 stars review. This is the most childish behavior and to smile in someone's face when you know you are making a decision that is going to make a persons life extremely difficult is so messed up. How someone can enjoy that moment is disturbing. I used to be a Forman working up on the light rail and even when I had to fire someone who definitely deserved it, I felt terrible delivering that news because I was causing unknown hardship for him. This woman looked like it's her favorite thing to do. Save your money and energy and go to a nicer place with a better staff. These people were the worst, and their units were horrible too. I suggest going to pearl street self storage if it's convenient for you. Thank people are very nice and the units are the best I've ever seen. The trucker turned out to be a complete liar, which we learned when so much of our stuff was waterlogged. Good thing the movers at our final destination (Washington state) took video of water pouring into the truck in the rain. During the move into our new place I tried to get hold of Bellhop via phone (AI assistant- super annoying, didn't result in a call for 5-6 hours) and text. They completely dropped the ball. By a miracle, our stuff arrived in ok shape, even though the boxes were soaked. I only filed a claim for an expensive linen lampshade, even though we did end up with some scratches on the furniture. Just got back the claim result: they are offering me ONE DOLLAR AND TWENTY CENTS. My annoyance and disgust with this company is very, very high. Awful.

Bellhop Moving is a deceptive brokerage (not a direct moving company) that intentionally…read moreunderquotes customers to lure them in, only to inflate charges by 350% or more after services are rendered. The kids they hire as "movers" are not professional or qualified movers, and they even admitted underquoting is standard practice for Bellhops. The company makes no effort to be transparent about pricing. They quoted me 4 hours to move a 750 sq. ft. apartment just 3 miles, with only one large furniture item (a 3-seat couch) and total possessions that filled only half a truck. The move ended up taking nearly 11 hours, and with all charges, the cost exceeded $3,000--an outrageous, predatory scam. When I reported these serious issues mid-move, Bellhop lied about sending help and never followed up. Post-move, they falsified documents sent to my credit card company, falsely claiming more movers were present and that I never complained -- despite extensive communications proving otherwise. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has been trying to hold them accountable for years due to an overwhelming number of similar complaints (1.2-star rating, 131+ complaints), but the Attorney General office has not yet taken action. This company is a scam, a bait-and-switch operation, and a consumer nightmare. If you value your time, money, and sanity, hire one of the many alternatives to Bellhop Moving.

Forgive me if the names are misspelled. My wife and I are currently recovering from a move that did…read moreus in, emotionally. Then Anthony came to our rescue, and what a Godsend he was. All provided us with excellent service and fruitful conversation. We were amazed with Maury who is from Guinea. We learned that he speaks his native language (French) and English. He said where he's from English & French are spoken. There are numerous people who can barely speak English. Bravo Maury and it's great to have you in the USA. Pleasant, well spoken, a gentleman and extremely strong. With his height he could be an NBA player. Then there is Hymie. Always a smile on his face despite doing heavy lifting and working diligently. He was the mechanic on hand and was there with his handy tools dismantling furniture, only to put them back together at our new apartment. While wife had taken the car to put gas in it, I told Hymie that the woman in 5he house would always change furniture arrangements around. When we arrived at the new place my wife began saying where she wanted everything to be placed. Hymie looked at me and smiled. He had been forewarned. The leader of this great team was none other than Anthony Wright, and his demeanor and joy was infectious. Always making certain his crew was working to our satisfaction. Then we started talking food, and there is truly not a more fun topic. We learned what he liked to eat as we told him we loved to cook. We've set a dinner date whenever our new nest is completed. Thank you Anthony, Maury & Hymie for treating our belongings with kit gloves and seeing us through the exhausting task of moving. A new neighbor shared the fact she was observing Maury & Hymie work and said they were the best team she's ever seen moving belongings, and being on the ground floor of the apartment complex, she's seen many movers.
