I made an appointment to turn in my keys because I moved out of the unit, and I arrive about 10 minutes early for my appointment and no one is here, I called the property manager and had to leave a message. I do not live in this area anymore so I went out of my way to come back and drop off my keys. No one ever showed up. I waited until after my appointment time. This has been so disrespectful of my time. Do not rent here, they are impossible to get ahold of, hidden fees make your rent go up and there are rat dropping all over the units. read more

Short version: RATS! Long Version: Not an option for zero stars--a shame. I rented a 10x20 unit late last year after getting married. The unit was a good price ($159) and I ignored the ominous warning from the person clearing out the unit next to mine--"watch out for rats". I ignored the statement--even if there were the occasional rat, there wasn't anything in my unit to attract them. I loaded everything up, closed the unit and put my payments on autopilot. I checked the unit in March 2025 to refill the damp-rid container I'd added to maintain low humidity as my wife and I had a couple pieces of furniture we didn't want molding. The unit seemed secure--no issues. I locked it back up. when I returned in late July, I was SHOCKED. Rat droppings everywhere. The furniture was covered in droppings and urine. Storage bins had teeth marks on the edges. Storage blankets had been chewed up and bits shoved into corners for what I assume were rat nests. I heard scuttling in the back of the unit as I walked forward and took pictures. The things we wanted to protect were a total loss and the rest needed to be thoroughly sanitized. I immediately reported the infestation to property manager staff. I was greeted by a new hire (he told me he'd been there a week). I showed him the unit, he took pictures and said he'd get in contact with his manager and call back about pest control and next steps. He suggested I file an insurance claim. I explained that there wasn't anything in the unit that would exceed a deductible. He apologized and said he didn't know what else to do. I asked him if there'd be a discount or assistance moving the stuff to another unit. He said he'd file the paperwork and have management get back to me. I thanked him and waited...and waited. I called him about a week later. He said he was still trying to contact his manager (he may have mentioned a vacation). "Give me till friday". I said ok and hung up. Friday came and went. Another week came and went. I called and left a voicemail. No response. This went on for about a month with no call backs or status reports. I checked the unit recently and there were fresh droppings on the furniture. Today, I called corporate and explained the situation. They mentioned this was the first they were hearing of an infestation report on the unit and said "that's probably why the manager wasn't calling you back". I explained that that logic didn't make much sense as I had left detailed voicemails about the incident along with my contact info. I suggested they check to see if any reports of rat infestations had been made from this location in recent memory and, if not, to investigate why that might be since other reviews of this site mention rats as a chief issue. Note: There ARE poison rat traps outside spaced every few units. However, only a handful of the units close all the way (there's a 2-3inch gap on many of the doors) and all the units are connected via interior slotted openings in the rafters---rats would have no trouble entering the building from multiple locations and working their way through the units at their leisure. I have no resolution yet--waiting for corporate to have local management call me back (it's now been a month since the initial report). Either way, BE WARNED, USE THIS FACILITY AT YOUR SIGNIFICANT RISK. Don't be like me. I ignored the warnings and went for the deal (you get what you pay for, I suppose). If your treasured memories survive the experience of being stored here, they will likely need a power wash. Good luck! read more

So first of all this public storage raised my unit rent from 60$ to 126$. Not to mention when I called to get my rent moved back to what I signed up for apparently as long as they send you an email they can raise your rent. Also half my stuff is damaged because of RATS infestation in my unit. So not only am I getting scammed my items are being damaged and they are having me pay double. read more

Rented a unit here for only a month because I found out they have rats here! Units are very old and run down. Unit reeked of urine, I had rat feces all over the stuff in my unit. Notified them and they just asked if I had insurance and said that's why they tell people not to have food in the units. I didn't even have any food inside and still ended up with rats all over my stuff. Also insurance isn't going to do anything unless the rats actually chew stuff up, which they did. This is the worst storage unit I've ever had! They should be ashamed. read more

I booked a storage rental online. went to the storage unit the same day could not access the unit because the gate code wasn't working. i kept getting an error message to see front office. I went to the front office and NO ONE WAS THERE. it wasn't time for the office to be closed!! I had to drive to different location to show my ID so my access code would work. read more

Robin is absolutely AMAZING!! I was going through a stressful two days of moving and she was so calm and supported me with all my needs. When first going to my storage unit, I realized it was way too small and I made a new reservation right away. She called me the next morning and realized I made the new reservation. She transferred me to a new unit right away. I was on a time crunch with moving and left her waiting for about 2 hours (so sorry again), but she waited and was so sweet when walking around. I did my whole reservation online and it was pretty smooth. But I got there the first time and my codes wouldn't work for the gate. I went inside and the woman helped me change my code, download their app, showed me how to open the gate from my phone and stayed with me to make sure it all worked. Fantastic customer service and I'm so happy I can use my phone to open the gate, pay my bill and everything. read more

I made my reservation for a unit and got a parking spot instead which is not what I needed. They didn't even take my vehicle title and registration which they're supposed to do. When I saw this was a mistake I tried contacting them for WEEKS via phone and in person and no one ever got back to me. When someone finally did he was understanding about the situation and guaranteed me a refund. Well that changed because the MANAGER does not want to give me a refund because he says I should have come in sooner. How was I supposed to do that when I have already been trying for weeks?? I didn't use the parking spot because I didn't need it. So I paid money for something I didn't need and tried to change to an actual unit and they refused! They are taking money from their customers and throwing them to the curb. I will be taking legal action to have them investigated because who knows who else they have done this to. By far the WORST business I have ever dealt with in my life. read more

Very poor customer service. Left me wondering if they are trying to scam me. I reserved a unit online, was shown a unit that was then unlocked for me, I specifically asked if they had anything smaller, was told no, then moved in. I later found out that the unit number Ashley put in the system didn't match the unit she unlocked and showed me. And that I could either pay the difference which was almost double what I signed for, or I could move my stuff to a smaller unit. Furthermore, I told her that I felt I shouldn't have to move my stuff at that point, she stated that she didn't care. I very strongly recommend against storing things here. read more

Just gross. We assumed it wouldn't be the cleanest like any outdoor storage facility, so we prepared our things and wrapped all of our items. Our items were only there a few weeks, but when we opened it up it was if we had been there for YEARS. Everything was destroyed. Rat Infested Storage Units I've stored a number of household items in my unit over approximately 1 plus years. Recently found that rats had infested the unit as each unit is not secured between each other. I've had to throw away two bed sets, one couch, a number of keep sakes that the rats had urinated and defecated on, and have to disinfect everything coming out of the unit. Due to the viruses carried by rats had to wear mask and gloves to access the storage unit. Public Storage response to the rat infestation included: 1. They would not pay for anything and I had to make a claim against my insurance carrier. 2. Orange Door Insurance (3d party public storage) would only pay $250 for having to throw away furnishings. 3. They offered to dispose of the two bed sets and the couch that are no long usable. 4. They would not touch anything in the unit or assist with cleaning up the contaminated household items. So unless you want your belongings ruined and have rat urine and feces on them please go find a clean storage unit somewhere else. read more

If you value any of the items you are storing, then DO NOT store them here. Learn from my mistake. MANY of my items were ruined due to rat poop covering literally everything I had in the unit, and several of my books and cardboard boxes were chewed through. I had to throw out many of my belongings. The property has several rat traps places all over the units but it is clearly not working. I had to use gloves and a mask to remove my items. read more

I have been robbed. I paid through my on-line banking. I have endorsed cashed checks for my storage unit rental. I paid monthly and on time. Not all the checks were attributed to my account. I called the property many times. No one ever answers. I left messages to please call me at the number I left on the recording to rectify the errors in the accounting. I never had a return call from them ever. All the contents of my unit have been sold now. As I have been working my way through supervisors etc., their response is that I was e-mailed (from a donotreply email address) and called several times on my home phone number. There is not a method to problem solve your account. Everything is automated and the on-site manager apparently cannot retrieve messages and respond to them. I have been told that even though my checks were endorsed by Public Storage and cleared my bank, there is no way of knowing if they actually received their money. Me thinks that the manager who cannot retrieve messages cannot properly enter payments into their system either. GO TO ANOTHER PLACE!!! read more

I needed some immediate storage space and I had checked 3 other storage locations. The call center was polite and patient in order to understand my storage needs. They did not try to upsale me but made a recommendation of exactly what I would need. In fact she let me know that based on my locker needs that they had one for 50% off the rental price. When I arrived the person on site was courteous and very helpful. She took time to show me the locker to make sure that it was what I needed. She then explained the entry, doors, gates, locks and site rules were. She was friendly and it was great to have someone that was not trying to "just get it over with". I will recommend this to all my friends. read more

One star only because zero is not an option. As many have mentioned this location has a serious rat issue and they continue raising their rates frequently. My unit has gone up over $100.00 in the past 18 months. You won't save money by storing here, they will raise your rates equal to a location which isn't inundated with rats. read more

Had my stuff in there for 30 min. There were three other units moving out who told me to leave because they lost a lot from rats and what they didn't lose they had to clean from rat piss and poop. We had the WORST experience. We moved from Colorado and needed to store our belongings. We were told about the moisture so we were aware of that. However, we were not informed about the rat problem. We went into our storage and noticed some rat droppings. We informed the office and was told they could give us a dustpan and broom. Nothing else was requested, no traps were set and nothing was followed up on. A week later, we go back to find the storage unit smells like rat urine and we had rat feces and urine on clothes, blankets, wood, blowup mattresses were chewed, drawers had stained urine, and wires were chewed. We filed a claim with the insurance company we were required to have. Come to find out...they will only pay $250 for damages. The staff hasn't done anything to help or rectify the situation. Do not use them unless you want your stuff to be ruined by rats. read more

I should have followed my initial gut instinct after viewing the storage unit approximately a year ago. Old, musky smell (that will not wash out of clothing) or household items. I recently viewed my storage unit after having not been in it since August to find rat infestation- feces, urine and blood. I would consider my storage unit a total loss at this time. It would be smart of you to know in detail what the insurance that they make you have covers. After making a claim I will receive $250 for Vermin infestation with an insurance coverage of up to $3,000 worth of goods. Huge hit and financial loss for me, definitely a lesson learned. I stored my belongings in a 10x10 unit which was actually more expensive than other heated units in the surrounding region. I have inquired several times about the unit problems and infestation and have yet to hear from the Manager. I expected a phone call and to explain the circumstances in the hopes that they would wave this last month of rent since all of my belongings will be making their way to the dump anyways. I would NEVER recommend this storage unit to another person. And if you must rent from here, maybe look into further insurance to cover the cost of your belongings. read more

This location was not bad. When I started of course the price was cheaper and went up every six months. Only had a 10x5 unit but price ended up too high for the size so I left. I must say it is a secure area. Lighting is great outside and in the hallways of the inside storage. There is no light in the smaller unit I had which made if very difficult to see and it's not climate controlled so there is a bit of that musty smell that you get from wet wood. Over all this location needs some improving but if looking for a short time storage solution I would recommend it. read more
