Toni has always helped me with whatever I've needed with my storage needs and issues, and Toni is the primary reason I have stayed for as long as I have. She's always cheerful and she always gives me the real deal. You can't beat honesty! I'll also be honest: I wasn't happy with the fire in the summer; however, I've stayed because the company, especially Toni, was upfront about what happened, which, as a result of the fire, I had sign up for insurance for my storage unit; sadly, I've had to relinquish my storage unit for financial reasons, and Toni did her best to keep me on board, but I can't due to financial reasons; however, I would stay on if college books weren't so DAMNED expensive: Three-hundred dollars for a math book; are you kidding me!? If there was a zero it'd be a zero because of the inability of anyone helping me with my account. I asked them, several times to remove the charges for 24/7 access. There is no way to cancel online so I have called and texted people with no response. Now they are charging me a late fee for money that I have tried to cancel several times. This is the worse customer service I have seen. They already charge way to much so i guess as soon as this fixed ill be finding another company because this is ridiculous.​ read more

In mid December 2024 my storage locker was broken in to. The company tried to call me twice, once leaving a general message. Nothing urgent. No follow up email or text. I lost over $1000 in items plus memories from my childhood. Guess who called, texted, and emailed several times whenever I had a late payment. Renter beware! Huge rat issue, break ins and theft, and massive rate increases. We kept only furniture, seasonal clothes, tools and household goods. No food!!. Between the break in(s), (which we found out by showing up there one day and having an extra lock and staged lock on it- with NO Call or notification), and having to throw out so much stuff ruined by rat feces and infestation, we moved on! Found holes along the wall where rats dug in. They say they have pest control out, but it is obviously not working, or a lie. I will say the blondish(?)lady up front was helpful and tried to get us a rate decrease for our troubles. BUT avoid this place at all costs! read more

They do not maintain the property and my light has been out in my unit since week one and they do not respond. I emailed the district manager previoulsy As well as called in. I've left messages. I called Again today. They don't even mow the grass or maintain the outside of the facility. Many days of the week there's nobody here and you can't directly call in to the manager you have to call the one 800 number. Shortly after I moved in they raised my storage space to $400 a month on me as well up $100 over what I was paying. They don't provide anything quality for what they are doing and now they are charging me a premium and don't respond to my request for help. I'm really tired of being ripped off. read more

Avoid using this or any other storage service at all costs. At least, if they operate like Public Storage does... Between break-ins, pest/vermin infestation, personnel not responding to correspondence at the convenience of the CUSTOMER, and a 13% annual increase in monthly rent throughout my time with PS. Not to mention, constant zero notification changes to access hours and finally, a single accessible restroom for the entire property that is INACCESSIBLE when the single employee (between two storage locations) is not available or if it's after hours and your particular building doesn't have the one toilet in it. Good luck to the military personnel who have no choice but for the rest of us, you'd have a lot better luck of securing and safe-guarding your stuff if you just hoard it for as long as it takes before you make use or dispose of your things. If I could give no stars, I would. Water damage was extensive. To the point of boxes rotted off and fabrics covered in mold from having been constantly wet. Furniture ruined from the water. Approximately 50-75 boxes compressed to half their size from being damp. DO YOU THINK I COULD GET AHOLD OF ANYONE?!? Apparently they don't have email correspondence for me to attach photos. Chat is ridiculously non-informativ. One would think that calling the number on the office door might get someone. NOPE Of course, NO ONE IS EVER THERE in the office. Don't rent storage here, or any other Public Storage, unless you want your belongings ruined AND ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE I wish I could attach the disgusting smell. So, my issues are poor maintenanc, no accountability, and not a single person to talk to. YET. I'll be calling every single phone number I can find. Even stopping by other public storage locations to call their managers. There HAS TO BE a LIVE person somewhere in the company. read more

Units keep getting broke into and they keep jacking up prices. Really regret going there. Also, watch out for rats. Their traps do not look.

Public storage on Canyon road used to have great customer service. Over the last year and half they have done a total 180. They do not care about customers and only looking to charge folks an arm and a leg . I have been with them for longer than I would like to admit and hit a snag due to their staffing issues and they were not willing to work with me. After paying my bill they gave me one amount due then when I went in it was a totally different amount. If you are looking for a place to store your belongings, this is not the place. read more

This place does not even deserve one star!! I have never experienced anything like this! I had a unit here for 3 years (paid over 5k in rent) only to find my stuff ruined. I am sick to my stomach that antiques with sentimental value have been chewed up, peed and crapped on by rats!! These things have been handed down 2-5 generations and are priceless to me. Oh let's not forget that we found 2 dead rats one wrapped up in the moving blanket around my head board and one dead inside one of the posts for my bed where it appeared they had made a nest. after spending 2 days breathing in dead rats and their dropping the office offers me a mask saying that's really bad to breathe. I am then told that all of the staff (even the new girl who has been working there for 2 months) are aware of this rat problem. NO ONE EVER BOTHERED TO CALL ME???? They told me that they spray in the empty units, but aren't allowed to spray in the occupied ones without permission. I WOULD HAVE GLADLY GIVEN PERMISSION HAD I BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM!!! So when you guys spray all the rats are running to the occupied units (and some dying there) You describe your facility as "CLEAN AND TRUSTED" What a joke!!! read more

This place does not respond to calls. Multiple break ins to interior units and lack of concern for the tenants. The one and only staff stated that she is the only one that works there and low and behold my unit was broken into while she was off. Sounds sketchy. read more

2 years of using this... facility... thousands of dollars spent moving my belongings in/out of here and paying to use the space... for me to lose nearly everything in my unit. I have never encountered or heard of anyone i know having this kind of rat problem at a storage unit before. It was ridiculous! EVERYTHING was covered in feces. The little bastards ate into Rubbermaid containers and destroyed the contents and crapped in there for good measure. Everything was coated in rat crap, eaten or chewed on. I lost suits, cloths, artwork, furniture, books, etc. I even had the good fortune of finding a rotting dead rat carcass in my storage unit. When I commented on that to the attendant she says "oh, yeah... we have rats" and offered me some paper towels to clean it up! Really?! You allow my stuff to get destroyed by rats and then expect me to use some cheap paper towels to clean up a rotting zombie rat body?! Me thinks not. Between dealing with this business and the insurance company (for the required insurance) regarding the destruction of my property... I was moments away from locking myself in the unit and hoping to succumb to whatever foul form of disease the rodents were carrying. I spent hours emptying out the unit and throwing most of my belongings away. The things I did take with me (and not to the dump) required hours of cleaning and mending before I could even use them again. I don't care what deal they offer you... Manager Toni was great. Storage unit was adequate. Lot driveways out are so small that I could not turn out with people spotting me. It was so snug I hit a security camera and I have to make an insurance claim. The driveways should be wider. read more

Like others, my storage unit was broken into. Then they decide to hike up the price over $30. What are we paying for?

Tonight was fantastic. The unit was clean no evidence of rats. But even in my last storage unit I found mouse droppings it happens. No I am not an employee. I priced probably 10 other companies and this was actually less expensive than most plus had the outside access I need. As for the lock most storage units use exactly the same type. I happened to have the one from my last unit so knowing what kind of lock they want I took mine with me. read more

First thing they tried to do is force me to buy one of their made in China locks for $17 claiming any other brand is junk. This is stupid when the latch the lock goes on is so wimpy, you can break it with a screw driver. Then they charged me a big administration fee, had me sign gobs of paperwork and spent 1/2 hour wasting my time explaining a bunch of nonsense. The lady working there was vulgar and high stress with a very nasty smokers cough. A few days later I went to move out early and they refused to prorate my move out and forced me to pay all of the month including the high set up fee. They required I sign a authorization to continue auto charge to my credit card even though I just told them I want out. They advertise promotions, but you will pay a LOT more than what they try to make you think at first. You cannot call customer service at corporate to complain - you try and get transferred to the local store which will not cooperate. Summary: They are con artists: AVOID!!! read more

3+. Years at this facility. However, after checking around this is the most expensive storage facility in the area. Rates went up every year (almost $20 in 3 years for a 5x10 unit). Plus you MUST buy their lock. Moved to a closer storage facility that was almost $40 cheaper for the same sized unit. Never saw any rats,however found 3rat bait packets in our unit when we moved out that we're not there when we moved in, so I can only assume they were put in after without our knowledge that our unit was opened. Overall service was ok, but just became way too expensive. read more

The management went out of their way to accommodate a large moving van after we moved halfway across the country in the middle of winter. They even allowed it to be parked right alongside our unit inside the gate. The manager, Toni, was easy to work with. I would definitely use that facility if the need arose. read more

Just know that the company now bases employee bonuses off of yelp and google reviews... So most of the 5 star ones are from employees and friends of employees. This facility is horrible. Huge rat problem. Look at the non 5 star reviews for the truth. They do nothing to control the rats, yet when they eat your belongings and dedicate all over them, well you are out of luck. I understand that the lease states store at your own risk, but shouldn't a storage company do more to prevent a huge rat infestation?? This company is a joke, rates are insane, besides the rat problem, my unit was broken into, worst part is that I did not go into it for about a year, when I did I found it covered in rat crap and what wasn't was stolen, and I was the one who found the break in, not them. They removed the door pins and slid the door off, out it back on and left the pins out. I was assured that this never happens, but oddly enough they had extra door pins. Looking at other units I noticed many near mine had the new door pins. Stay away from here, your stuff is safer being left outside your house in the rain!!! read more
