I did not realize in they had a policy that one needs to give a 10 day notice before vacating otherwise you get charge for an entire extra month even if you're out by the end of the current month. No discount or proration offered when I asked. They say it was in the contract I signed (again three years ago) so they can't do anything about it. "Thanks for your $20,000+ over the past three years. Now F*** off!" is basically what they just said. I hope that last $650 was worth it! Folks considering this place, take this info and do with it what you will. They sure were helpful to include the link to give them Yelp and Google reviews sure made it easier for me to post this.

All measurements and weights were off and their quote came almost to a bill that I had to pay for my move across the country. Eileen from Olympic Moving came to our apartment to personally look at our belongings. We got a decent quote and both Eileen and Catrina were very helpful with scheduling the move. At the actual moving day movers arrived 45 mins early. But that was ok, we were ready to be done with it asap. There were 2 guys. They did not waste their time. Disassembling, loading and unloading went pretty fast. I was impressed when Robert lifted heavy wooden table top with his bare hands (no gloves) and carried it to the truck. I also had an electric piano, that I was worried about. I was that annoying customer hovering over their shoulders watching them wrap and move it. If you get Robert as your mover - you are in good hands. The move was smooth and faster than scheduled. The company charges hourly, so we paid based on how many hours the crew worked. Nothing was said about the special deal not being available for the larger space. After I was billed for the 2nd month rent - called & disputed due to promise of 2nd month free & was told that the special only applied to "new" customers. I explained I was a new customer because I never moved anything into the smaller unit (10' x 20'). Public Storage referred me to "corporate" customer service which was not helpful. They have refused to honor the inducement of 2nd month free. Get any promises in writing BEFORE you move all your stuff in.

Then the 3rd month it was raised to 54. by the 5th month, they sent a email saying in 30 days, the price would be 98. 98 for a 5x5 space?? crazy. Raising the price like that in such a short period of time is predatory and greed. I talked to the person working their, they were new, just like everyone else I dealt with before. I stated my complaint and asked to speak to a manager, but they would not give out there phone # or name, someone called me 5 days later, I returned the call and explained my issue on a VM. They never did answer a call, it always went into voicemail. No correction on the price and now I am moving my stuff before I get gouged on a 5x5 price for 98.00. The person who I spoke to at the location is no longer there either. Must be a high turnover job and a lousy place to work. The last 2 visits, the gate was open, before you used your code. I noticed the roof was leaking now, carts are dirty and its hit or miss on getting one. Going there on weekends is not a good idea. People claim a cart and hang onto them. The hallways are very narrow, if a person is sorting and working in their unit, there is no way to pass and good luck on winding through the maze if that happens and you need to get to your unit.

He said "it sounds like you need the container ASAP so if you would like two of them delivered this afternoon we can do that and deliver the other two the following day".
