Our big studio took about 2 hours to load into the small uhaul and about 45 mins to unload at our new place. They moved all of the big furniture and didn't leave a scratch on anything! I have recommended this service to all my friends and co workers because it is more than worth it! After 6+ years of paying a fortune for a 5'x10' unit (now $180/month, increasing to $212 as of…read more6/1/2023) it was time to move out. Arrived 4/25 with a rental vehicle to do so but the elevator was out of order and apparently had been for a few days. To avoid paying the next month's rent, we had to vacate the unit by EOD 4/30. When we called to check the status of the elevator that day, we were told it was still out of order. Our unit is located on the 3rd floor of a notably large building...at least 500-600 units. There is ONE elevator for the entire building and TWO stairwells on the far end of each side. Only one stairwell is accessible from the outside. Needless to say, moving the items out of the unit without an elevator would've required assistance of at least two other able-bodied people, which was not possible. Although we contacted management, sure enough, we were charged for the entire amount as of May 2. A classic example of a business causing their customer to suffer from what is their--and only their--mistake.

Moved to Tacoma and boyfriend booked this company. Only needed to move a bedroom set but needed disassembled and reassembled (to fit thru doors). Condo is a bit of an inconvenience in this regard. Company was prompt and courteous, and I was ready to be super happy with them but I was disappointed that out of two night stands and a bed with storage (Queen, 6 drawers) and mattress: mattress cover was stained with grease in one spot (the mattress was wrapped?!), large scuff on one nightstand, smaller scuff on the other. I spoke to Jason and Steve who is the owner of the company. They ensure me that the quote is accurate and no other tax or fee will be added. They told me not to worry and everything will be straight forward and smooth transaction. Obviously not happening after the crew finish the work. The crew start working at 9am and finish at 12:10am and then call the office for the final charge. The move is from Storage to unload at residential home. I thought it would be easy and smooth transaction. Just labors and truck. Nothing complicate. The branch manager call for the total of 1235$ which combine all fee that is not even in the quote. I believe this is a Shady and scandalous way of doing business. I should believed some other bad review on yelps and Google. At the end they lower the price to 1081$. The calculation that I got from my calculation is 3hours and 10 Mins + 1 hour of travel fee = $950. I didn't use any of packing material. I only use the labors+truck. This actuall pisses me off. I just paid them 1081$ just to get it over with. The only good thing about this transaction is Erick and his crews are very curtious and polite. They work fast. I have another loading coming in from out of state. I think I better use any other company. They promised me of 10% discount. You have to be crazy to use them again. They will literally give it away an hour before your arrival. We reserved a van and showed up at 7AM. She told us she gave it away "because she can" even though we had it reserved and drove an hour to get it. She said quote on quote "It's my rules and customers like you guys are HOARDERS thinking you can reserve a truck". (Whatever that means...). We tried to understand what she meant and told her we never were notified this and she said "I don't follow U-Haul I follow my rules". I asked her why and she said "this area is super sketchy so I want to get rid of my vans as fast as possible" (WTF?!). She had no solution and basically told us to F off, we ultimately went to a different rental company. Once again this site is very vocal about not following U-Haul policy and "make their own rules". I don't have her name but terrible person with terrible view on business and hates customers. BEWARE. Hope U-Haul checks it out as this woman / location is destroying the brand.
