After I arrived in Olympia, WA I met the guy who managed the Public Storage facility where I had made my reservation. He was the icing on the cake. Great customer service, gave me well-educated information to help me make the best choices concerning my locker location, size, pricing, and "how-to" info regarding moisture retention products, putting lock on door, how to raise and lower locker door, security camera locations, even letting me know the driveway space was wide enuf to accommodate the larger transport moving truck. Nothing was said about the special deal not being available for the larger space. After I was billed for the 2nd month rent - called & disputed due to promise of 2nd month free & was told that the special only applied to "new" customers. I explained I was a new customer because I never moved anything into the smaller unit (10' x 20'). Public Storage referred me to "corporate" customer service which was not helpful. They have refused to honor the inducement of 2nd month free. Get any promises in writing BEFORE you move all your stuff in.

Happily, I found out there were no long term contracts. When I called to ask what I needed to do for move-out, it was so easy. Just empty, leave it unlocked, and inform the office. I cleaned it out the same day/evening, and before I even left the parking lot, they were in doing a final cleaning. Johnnie on the Spot! Really efficient. When I called the office the next morning, they had already me removed from the system so I would not incur another monthly charge. Everyone was helpful and friendly. If I rent storage again, I will rent from this facility.
