Most ridiculous rental experience of any kind in my 53 years. Tried to rent a U-Haul truck from…read morethis location. The truck was there and ready to go when I arrived & the license plate number matched with my online check-in. Was supposed to rent the truck at this location and drop it off in Oregon. Reservation was all squared away and good to go. The attendant at Armor storage, not a U-Haul employee, flatly told me that if I didn't return the truck to their location that I would not drive it off the lot. My reservation clearly stated otherwise but she was adamant I was not taking the truck off the lot. Add to this, extremely rude, stubborn and unhelpful. I will not be doing business at this establishment for truck rental, storage or anything else. If you need a one way truck rental beware, your reservation is meaningless to this vendor and they could care less what you think about it.

At first this place was the cheapest, then when it started getting popular, the prices went up but not to the point where it was unreasonable. It's flat, paved, has a porta-potty and has security cameras to tell you what went wrong after the fact. They call the police out and then reports can be made. You can choose a covered area on the middle part of this facility or one of the uncovered parking spaces. They have added new razor wire with reinforced fencing to keep out the riffraff. I really like this place cause it's local. No more driving to Puyallup.

If you choose to rent here, read your agreement. The lease agreement limits storing gasoline or propane. Unfortunately, if you store an RV, boat or a car you have propane on board unless you remove the tanks. If so, you are in violation of their lease agreement. Today, I received an email from management saying I was automatically being enrolled in a insurance policy to protect me and my assets from liability for as little as a cup of coffee per month, but adding $60.00 per year to my rent. Really, they are requiring this to protect them from damages should my items in storage cause damage such as a fire, which I understand. While requiring proof of insurance is common in this industry, most personal insurance companies will provide this which they failed to mention in their email. I am asking my insurance company to send them certificates, listing them as additional insured. The owner is just trying to sugar coat a rent increase and not being candid about his mission, or giving customers the option to have their personal insurance company provide a certificate of insurance.

This was a move from Las Vegas to Tacoma so it was a 26 foot truck with a car carrier. We were told by Penske that there would be no trouble returning the car carrier first since it's hard to unload a truck with the car carrier in its place behind the truck. We get there to return the car carrier and the 2 dimly lit lightbulbs they had employed there refused to allow us to return it. They told us we could go outside and call Penske if we didn't like their response. My wife and I both stepped outside, telling them we'd be right back. The minute we walked outside the 2 ladies shut and locked the door and closed the business leaving us standing outside in the rain with no ability to return or even discuss the manner. I've worked customer service for years and at no point do you leave a stranded customer like that, it was beyond unprofessional. I called the next day and they were completely unapologetic and could care less about trying to resolve the issues. This is a garbage business with garbage employees

I live up the street and saw my truck parked there last night. When I asked in do you mean the truck that was parked in front of your building this morning? She said yes we rent to our customers first. So it didn't matter that I had a reservation. It didn't matter that I have movers coming in an hour. And she gave me another company's number to call them to ask if they had a truck and she wouldn't do it for me although she should have in order to show good customer service. And when I brought it up to her she didn't care at all. She simply wished me a nice day like a jerk. Not cool, do not recommend.
