Service was requested for a 1200 sq ft townhome move. They ended up charging me around 1400. They wrapped everything in plastic irrespective whether they are scratch or break resistant or not. 3 man team never arrived. Only Shawnessy was present doing things on his own for an hour. The 2 people coming in later, made the job even more slow. Considering a drive of 1 hour and 30 mins back and forth, the entire job took ~6.5 hours. They also handled kitchen stuff poorly. Few ceramics items got slipped and broke. A part of the bed went missing. It's advertised cheap but will cost almost the same if not more. Disappointed on the lack of professional behavior. Will they give you the lowest rate? YES. Will it be worth saving those few dollars? NO. 1. I confirmed before booking that they will bring their own tape, furniture pads, moving blankets and plastic wrap, said it's included in $75 service fee. I saw only 1 roll of shrink wrap which they used on the mattress after me telling them twice. Nothing else was wrapped or secured in any way. Result: there are scratches and chips all over my furniture (attaching pictures) 2. We paid for assembly/disassembly of furniture, and told them to bring their own power tools since we had a bad experience with our move last time. They took first 20 mins to point out more mistakes from the last movers, ok. And was I satisfied with this one? Well, they conveniently forgot all the screws in the old apartment and I had to drive back and forth (Seattle to Kirkland 50mins) in the middle of them unloading at the new place. 3. my shoe rack is still MIA! I saw it leave my old apartment, never arrived at the new one, they told me they left it on side of the truck and forgot to load it Highly unprofessional, please save you time and money and go with one of the bigger brands and more expensive options. Trust me you'll regret hiring them for life or at least until you buy the ones they forgot to load on the truck and also replace your scratched and chipped furniture will stare back at you. read more

I scheduled with Hammond moving for August 30th. Due to change is schedule, I asked them to move it to 31st and they obliged. I had called them the day before to ask if they can do another time as I don't have the elevator reservation during that time slot. I finished the call saying I will check with my apartment folks. I called them the next day to check when they are arriving and they said they will text me in 20 minutes. I got a text saying "Good morning sir. Due to the circumstances of rearranging scheduled days then time slots after changing days during a busy moving season we cannot complete the move. We're deeply sorry & miscommunication brought this upon us. We can no longer accommodate." I got this text message at 10:00 am on August 31st. I talked to them multiple times about moving the time slot and I never said I want to cancel the move. They didn't have the courage to give me a call and tell me that they cannot make it. Had a relatively short distance move from one apartment to another within the same complex. Shawnessey came with one other person. Can't say enough nice things about him. He was extremely polite not just to me but to all of my neighbors as well. He took really great care in getting everything moved over and reassembled while juggling phone calls of other people trying to schedule with him. He made a minor scratch on the wall when moving stuff and he offered to pay for any damages that may be levied by the building. It was so small that unless I stared at it, I couldn't spot it. I am very thrilled with the job that these men did with moving all of my apartment from Kirkland to Tacoma. They tried their best to get my couch through the door and when it absolutely would not fit they went to the porch and secured it with a pulley and then proceeded to lift it over the balcony and through the door that way. It wasn't easy, but they said they would figure out a way to get it in there and they were successful. They were very polite and professional and even offered to put my bed frame together. I had a very bad experience and do not recommend them. Shanessi wa great but his crew were aweful. They were lazy, inexperince, and slow. I probably worked harder than the crew. Paid 1700$ to move a two bedroom apartment and had to work as hard as if I was moving myself. I caught one of the guys vaping marijuana while unloading the furnitures, ridicoulus! The job would take a professional crew 8 hours to finish at the most but these guys did it in almost 12 hours. I hired 3 men crew but I recieved a one man crew!
