Thank you for all that you did Mr. Nordine! My whole family which includes my wife, three kids, and our dog were locked out of our house and he saved the day while helping us avoid scammers like Armor Locksmith Round Rock (read my review on their page). I was on the phone with Mr. Nordine while the fake locksmith was at my house trying to quote me $550 for the same job that Mr. Nordine charged me only $169. He was genuinely upset that these people operate like this because they rip people off and make true Texas business owners looks bad. He assured me he was a rip off and he would come and do it for me so I told this kids who showed up in a minivan to get lost. Mr. Nordine showed up in his work truck that was labeled and had a license number too. He is a true local business owner that not only did the work at the promised price but even changed both my locks, made me new copies, and matched the new lock to match the existing locks!!! I even tried to pay him more for the copies, lock, and for my gratitude but he declined. He told me he was sorry about the former "locksmith" that showed up and to give the money to my kids as an allowance. If you call a locksmith and it seems like it goes to a call center that just takes your info and tell you that "their" guy will call you back in two minutes they are just selling you job to any who is willing to do the work and trying to make the most commission off you. read more

He was on time, tried but could not program my aftermarket fobs. But he didn't charge me, even though he was there trying for about an hour. He showed me that there wasn't even an FCC ID number on the fobs (eBay). He was able to get an OEM fob in a few days and programmed it in about 5 minutes. Very responsive (was here within 15 minutes of me calling), had to try a number of methods to get us in (no fault of his own, apparently the previous owners had messed with the manual release of the garage door, and we were trying to preserve our smart locks). I would suggest that you make sure they can handle the job before you set up an appt. I was told it was a $20 service call and $60-$80 to program my key. But when the tech was unable to complete the service, I was suddenly charged $50 for nothing. I still had to have another company come out and actually do the job. read more

I have attempted for two days to get 512 to send a locksmith to repair or replace the deadbolt lock on my back door. At first I was given an appointment from 3-5; no one showed up, largely because my iPhone rejects unknown numbers. When I realized what happened, I called the company and they said they would have a technician call me. I was waiting, telephone in my hand. He called and said he would come between 8 and 9. He never showed. I called again this morning and the dispatcher said they had not been able to reach their technician but would have him call me. Again, I waited, telephone in hand. No call back. At that point I cancelled my service request and called a different provider. He was at my door in less than 30 minutes and took less than 15 minutes to repair the lock.
