They stood up for BLM protestors by feeding them and keeping them hydrated- to which we donated to- and they're the most loving bunch of people I've ever met! I have so much fun every time we go bc of the genuinely safe, loving and chill atmosphere! One time on a delivery a drink was forgotten, which wasn't a big deal. The owner seriously left and drove it back to me!! He didn't need to do that! I even told him not to bc of the pandemic!! My husband and I visited based on a yelp search. We know these spots can sometimes be lame or pretentious- this was neither. Bartenders Kris and Scott quickly became what felt like old friends. The whiskey selection was solid and the cocktails all held the integrity of each ingredient. If you truly appreciate the craft and love it takes to make a cocktail the right way - get to this spot quick! This place is sooooooo cool. This is exactly what Chattanooga needed. The exterior is simple and misleading. You enter through a traditional British phone booth and then you're in a narrow entry way and on the left is an old pay phone. Read the instructions on how to get the secret code to get in. When you get buzzed in, you enter a spacious room with the bar immediately to your left and then the room filled with lots of comfy chairs and sofas. It's dimly lit, which just adds to the hip ambiance. Find a spot to sit and fantastic servers will come to you. Many British knick-knacks and memorabilia and even a big, giant and irreverent, but classy photo of Queen Elizabeth, herself. They have a photo booth tucked in a corner so you can capture your experience. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. I had the pleasure of meeting James, the owner. He's a Brit, and his accent is so adorable. And, bonus, he's genuinely nice and happy that you have come to hang out at his bar. The drinks are amazing. They take craft cocktails to a whole new level. I tried a few different cocktails and so far my favorite was the Clover Club. I could drink those all night. Kenzie and the other bartenders are young, hip and talented and super friendly. Grab a seat at the far end of the bar to watch them weave their magic. I was there on a weeknight, and though it wasn't crowded, it was full and busy. Personally, I probably would not go on a weekend, as this place is packed. That's too many people for me. I have been here twice now and really enjoy the atmosphere. It is quite enjoyable as long as you can catch it on a night where it is not completely packed. If we see a line out the door we usually go somewhere else. The inside is dark and romantic, although loud, and is just a really unique experience (at least for Chattanooga). I have never been anywhere like it. It is totally worth a visit. They have lots of unique cocktails to try and the bartenders are great at suggesting things if you are not sure what you might like.
