Great service from manager Chris Royer on fast tracking the order of a stair lift for my mom ... looking forward to its installation.

We called at 3:00 when we got home & whomever answered said they'd be out to take care of it. Nobody showed up. We tried to call, it went to voice mail. They have no number to emergencies. They never showed up the next morning either so we finally got hold of someone about 11:00 & they were very apologetic but we decided to change providers & they were out within 4 hours. Thankfully I had the portable tank from the hospital that got me through the night!l & it wasn't a dire constant need! Now we're having issues getting them to come out & get their portable tank! Took three phone calls. Will be shocked when they actually show up!

I am 5'1'. We needed a wheel chair. I called several places they were either not helpful or they could order one; and it would be here in two -six weeks. Tara was extremely helpful and empathic. Tara made sure they had wheelchairs in stock that might fit my husband. She told me to make sure the doctors referral had the chair pad and leg rest on the referral. When the doctor forgot to add the leg rests. She waited while I called them and they resent the referral. Tara offered to have Jeremy come to our house to fit my husband in two days or I could bring him in that afternoon. We needed a chair as soon as possible. He had appointments and he was limited on how far he could walk with his walker. I was able to get my husband in the car and drive him out to Rotech. Tara then brought a wheelchair out to the car. We then went inside and tried three different chairs to get the right fit. Tara helped as I transferred my husband from chair to chair until we found the right fit. Hugh came in and showed me how to adjust the leg rests, lock, fold the chair and other adjustments we could make on the chair. He then loaded it in the car for me. The chair is super heavy. So, I called back to see if we had any other options and Jeremy said, he would order another chair and we could come try it out when it arrives the following week. I appreciate the excellent customer service. This Rotech team made the rental process and value for what we are receiving an excellent experience. The care they have during this very stressful time has been so appreciated! Thank you!

Started request in July and completed physician required wheelchair assessment appt in mid Aug. in Sept they had some issues and lost the account. In October spoke w Salem Office as Eugene didn't answer phone. By November, nothing still had not been done. In December we were told needed a special PT assessment through the hospital and before Christmas completed the assessment. In January we were told Medicare pre authorized chair. Despite my Dad living in ICF, because delivery address associated with facility that also has Rehab and skilled nursing, we're told Medicare denied payment and company wanted nearly $13,000 for an already delivered wheelchair. Dad 100% qualifies for this under part B Medicare as he just rents his room. So wheelchair now has to go back as we are not paying that kind of money out of pocket when same chair can be ordered fir $3500. Besides all the 1000$ spent for his multiple and extensive wheelchair assessments and transportation to theses appointments and back in a wheelchair chair transport. I can not recommend this business. 8 months later, and I am right back at beginning to secure and electric wheelchair so his is semi mobile w his severe rheumatoid arthritis. Completely frustrated and all the work again falls back on me to appeal the Medicare denial if continued with Nu motion. Nope. I am done with this business. I am already his medical advocate, trying to empty and sell his home, handling all of his business affairs, and do not have another 8 months to invest in this company when they dropped the ball so very many times through this process. Only last 30 days did it seem I was dealing w a person w competency, but that still wasn't enough for the process to work seamlessly. Wish I would have avoided this business from the very beginning .

She is in severe pain and this company has taken so long. I hear that "United Seating" is a better place to go so save yourself a headache and a backache! It is so sad to hear that so many customers, especially those that use equipment for their disabilities are getting taken advantage of like this. I hope this place runs out of business real fast!

The benefits manager, Stephanie, seriously went above and beyond to provide me with the medical…read moreequipment I needed. I went into Shaw-Med after a broke my foot on a Friday evening. We came in close to their closing time and had issues with communication between the doctor's office and the shop, but Stephanie ensured I went home in a stabilizing boot to save my foot until the scheduled surgery! I am so very thankful for her advocating for me. All I can say is the service provided was well above expectations. Because of her, I will absolutely recommend Shaw-Med to any friend in need.

I called my insurance company (Moda) two days before foot surgery to verify what kind of medical…read moreequipment they would cover. Among other things, they would cover a raised toilet seat but I had to get it from a medical supply store, which would bill my insurance. Day of surgery, I sent my husband with the prescription from the doc and my insurance card. The guy at the counter wouldn't even look at the prescription or the card. He said insurance never covers "toilet stuff." My husband paid out of pocket and returned home. I got back on the phone with the insurance rep. They were aghast. They do cover it and asked the name of the store. When I told them it was Shaw Med, they said Shaw is no longer in-network. This is the largest medical supply store in Eugene, and they are no longer in-network. So they lied to us, and now I can't get reimbursed for the item because Shaw wouldn't bill insurance. They are terrible!
