I like their customer service because they are a local company and someone always answers the phone rather than having to go through a phone tree or leave a message like other companies. And the therapists are very helpful and accessible. read more

I am amazed with the service I have received from the staff at Pneu-Med!!! I was previously with a company L-----E that gave me the worst customer service I have ever had in my 71 years, then I found Pneu-Med and the are amazing, you couldn't ask for more caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable people to work with. The staff and service is awesome and if anyone has had a bad experience it must have just been one of those days we all have on occasion. Don't use this company The manager is rude. Calls and asked if I would wait another day for my oxygen bottles to be refilled because they don't come to Eugene only on Fridays. Was not happy when I said no. It's a 15 minutes to drive here. Bought a $ 76.00 oxygen regulator for next day delivery with my oxygen bottles. Said they will be here between 8am and noon. Didnt show. Called. Manager said would call me back but didn't. Had to cancel appointment to wait for them. Treat people with disrespect. read more

Wearing a surgical mask meant to protect their employees, I went in to the Pneu-Med store to pick up a piece of respiratory equipment. No one was wearing a mask. I asked for the manager and complained. She said, "This is the policy we have adopted." This is a company which has many customers who have serious breathing and lung problems! Do not use this company. At first there were issues with getting C-Pap supplies until one of their employees had me start to email her every month for what I needed. That went well for many months and even if there was a mistake on a delivery, she made sure to make it right. However, that great employee unfortunately went on maternity leave and their clinical supervisor, Stuart Nurre MS, RRT, RN, can't seem to handle the additional load with the single employee out of the office. He even used that maternity leave as an excuse as to why I requested supplies on 10/08/14 and yet, here we are on 10/24/14 and I have no new supplies, even after I told them my current supplies were leaking and these things are a medical necessity. Even after I was patient and understanding of their "down one person" excuse (my emails had been very respectful and understanding, even offering to put the delivery off by a couple of extra days to wait for a part of my supplies that they were out of to come in and then they could deliver them at that point, rather than making 2 trips, even though I am near downtown Eugene, so it's not like they had to go really far to make a 5 minute delivery), they still didn't get supplies to me or make any further contact between 10/14/14 and 10/22/14 and so I emailed again on 10/22/14, this email: "Ok, it has now been 8 days since the last contact from your office and I originally sent my request on 10/08/14. It was your clinical supervisor that said an item I needed should have been in by Monday 10/20 and there has been no contact or schedule for delivery set. I believe I have been very patient and I really find it incredible that with all the business you are taking care of with staff going out to different locations, no one can manage to handle a less than 5 minute delivery of my supplies. I am using items that are leaking because they are warped and I really want a date when those supplies can be delivered after 2pm. I am available the rest of this week." Know what I heard back from them? NOTHING. So then I sent a very angry email on 10/24/14 that told them that if they didn't get my supplies to me by end of business day on that date, I would file a complaint with my insurance company, my doctor, and would post up a negative review at any online location I could. That I found it reprehensible that they could allow a patient to go on without medically necessary supplies for this long. Amazingly, while Stuart couldn't find the 60 seconds to email me updates of when I could expect my supplies either on the 14th, or the 22nd after the emails I sent on those days asking again for updates, he managed to spare 60 seconds in a voice mail the morning of 10/24/14 basically telling me they didn't like the tone of my email, that "Tammy" had indeed called and left me a message a couple of days ago trying to set up a delivery time, and they would no longer be supplying my supplies and they would give me names of other companies to use and to no longer email them, but to call. So I called him back and started to explain to him that his voice mail was the very reason I usually email my requests because unless I had talked to Tammy personally or she had emailed me then there was no way she contacted me and I didn't get the voice mail because both my home line and my cell phone are connected to voice mail services that instantly email me both voice mail calls and missed/hang-up calls (Ooma and YouMail). So even if she had called and hung up, I would have known. So I told him she had lied to him but that I did believe he believed her, so I wanted him to know the call never happened. His response was to insist she didn't lie, she did call and then "click" he hangs up. The interesting thing about living in the state of Oregon is that it is a "single-party" state when it comes to recording calls, and so what Stuart doesn't know is, I recorded that last call with him as well so he has no way of disputing what I said or what he did. I will be making sure to continue my complaints up the food chain to their corporate (if there is one), I have left a review here, I will continue to look for other review sites to update and I will be calling my doctor's office next. Bottom line is people, as I told Stuart in my email, I worked in the medical field as well and his excuses are unacceptable. Your staffing issues are not the patient's issues and 16 days to get supplies from a company that is in your same town because someone (who doesn't deliver) goes on maternity leave shows a lack of leadership and capability as a supervisor and Stuart Nurre MS, RRT, RN shouldn't be in the position he is in there. (Oh and by the way, EVERYTHING I have said here is true and I have every single email and voice recording of all conversations so there is no way they can dispute these facts without absolutely bold face lying. It's why I try to email everything. I recommend everyone do the same if you can!) read more

I am sorry to see bad reviews because my experience was nothing short of fantastic. My dad, who was on hospice and needed equipment, received it from two delightful delivery men. They were kind and compassionate; and seemed genuinely sad when my dad passed just about 5 weeks after they had delivered the stuff. Unfortunately, I had over 3+ weeks of terrible service. My daughter had surgery & needed a thick eggcrate mattress. That was 4 weeks ago. I called Pneumed weekly to ask what was taking so long. In the meantime, my daughter is in pain all night. Weekly I was told they were waiting on insurance approval. I finally called the insurance. The insurance had called Pneumed over a week ago asking for a different "E" number. Four simple numbers. Pneumed never called the insurance back. Today I was again told the insurance was the hold up. Finally I spoke to the office manager & within 15 minutes they had an approval & could deliver it. She apologized since this could have been done weeks ago. Pneumed is not the place to go if you want fast, efficient service. read more
