The benefits manager, Stephanie, seriously went above and beyond to provide me with the medical equipment I needed.

I came in here with my brother earlier in the week looking for a cane for my mother. I remember…read morecoming in here many years ago with my mom and my brother when we needed a stethoscope for mom. Neither of us could remember the name of this business, but we knew it was nearby and we find of stumbled on it. Lol. Once we found it, I knew we had been here before. Which tells me this business has been around for many years now. We walked in and were immediately greeted by an employee. We told her we were looking for a quad cane, and we didn't want the basic silver ones. We wanted to know what other options they had. My mother is going through chemo and has become unsteady on her feet. So she needs a little help. In order for her not to kill me by throwing my back out by pulling on my arms, it was time to get her a cane. I also have this thing about the silver ones. They scream nursing home to me. I didn't want my house to start resembling one with medical supplies, nor did I want her to feel like she was headed there. So a fun, funky/stylish color was what I wanted. The woman (I didn't get her name, unfortunately) totally understood what I was saying, and she opened up a book to special order the cane, and gave us a full page of choices. She really listened to what we wanted and tried to give us the best options. We also had a prescription for the insurance to pay for the cane. She answered the questions we had about this, and was just really helpful. She made sure she had all the information needed. We subsequently asked about a couple other kinds of medical supplies we may be needing in the future, and if they carried them. They don't carry what we thought we would need later, but she knew of a couple other medical supply stores that did, and recommended them. I have huge respect for a business that can't help me with what I need, but they help by sending me in the right direction with recommendations. She could have just said, sorry. We don't have those, and gone on with the order. We ordered the cane, and we should have it within a week. Perfect. They will call and we will go pick it up when it becomes available. Would I return here? Absolutely! The customer service we received in here was excellent. We found mom a cane and ordered it, and have recommendations for other supplies she may need in the near future. The woman who helped us was attentive, listened to our needs, and answered our questions completely. My brother and I left here very happy. Review 51 of 2017.

I've been getting bids on wheelchair lifts and other equipment for purchase and installation…read more These people pad their prices and overcharge the disabled and the elderly who can least afford it. It is a shame. IT ISN'T JUST THIS DEALER, THE OTHERS DO IT, TOO. Just like high priced drugs, prices are fixed to be high because the adults with disabilities are a captive group. The needy can't be held to the same supply and demand standards of our society. Prices on Medical equipment for the disabled should be regulated with price caps; where dealers can't charge double and triple the retail price. If you get an estimate expect that some items are doubled or tripled in price and so is the labor. It isn't necessarily the big items they inflate; watch the little things like interlocks, wiring harnesses, etc.; they figure that you would be ignorant about the prices on these items and about how many hours it takes to install. ADA laws don't protect anyone from these dealers. So called safety memberships which are supposed to protect the public are actually only concerned about their dealer membership numbers and are in fact lobbyists for the dealers. The dealers pay these organizations for membership in return for so-called education. They say it is for education to keep us safe, more like it to dig deeper into our wallets. They provide an excuse to charge us more and to make the dealer more "respectable." There are several of these organizations which the dealer has tags for. Some charge the customer $100 for the safety tag. You can request "no" tag. Whether they go along with it is up to them, they can just tell you to go take a hike. In addition, they want you to buy their pre-equipped vans. The bottom line, the dealers don't want to add to your old van or a new van unless they get paid a lot of money. Beware and be careful how you question them, because if they catch on that you might know something about the costs, or if you challenge them, they will ignore your request and you won't even get an estimate let alone the work done. Like plumbers who now get $85 per hour and other contractors, these mobililty techs get $125 per hour or rather that is what the dealership charges you for their labor.

I am 5'1'. We needed a wheel chair. I called several places they were either not helpful or they could order one; and it would be here in two -six weeks. Tara was extremely helpful and empathic. Tara made sure they had wheelchairs in stock that might fit my husband. She told me to make sure the doctors referral had the chair pad and leg rest on the referral. When the doctor forgot to add the leg rests. She waited while I called them and they resent the referral. Tara offered to have Jeremy come to our house to fit my husband in two days or I could bring him in that afternoon. We needed a chair as soon as possible. He had appointments and he was limited on how far he could walk with his walker. I was able to get my husband in the car and drive him out to Rotech. Tara then brought a wheelchair out to the car. We then went inside and tried three different chairs to get the right fit. Tara helped as I transferred my husband from chair to chair until we found the right fit. Hugh came in and showed me how to adjust the leg rests, lock, fold the chair and other adjustments we could make on the chair. He then loaded it in the car for me. The chair is super heavy. So, I called back to see if we had any other options and Jeremy said, he would order another chair and we could come try it out when it arrives the following week. I appreciate the excellent customer service. This Rotech team made the rental process and value for what we are receiving an excellent experience. The care they have during this very stressful time has been so appreciated! Thank you!
