Their service seems to be hit or miss. My mom has said that the women she's spoken with at this office have been unpleasant at best. She spoke with Josh most recently, and he helped her out, getting he set up with a machine that was working properly. But he was unclear with her instructions on what she needed to return, so she took back some of the auxiliary items that it wasn't necessary to bring with the machine (and which they couldn't reuse anyway, even unopened, and now she has to wait for a new delivery of those items). The Customer Service and Billing Department are an absolute nightmare to deal with. I am consistently billed incorrectly for services and/or charged for returned supplies. In all of the times that I have tried to resolve the billing issues, I've never received a call back from their billing center. I've waited on hold for up to an hour at a time, only to be "suddenly and magically" disconnected without ever speaking with a human being. Their voicemail tree is comparable to running on a hamster wheel. Round and Round and Round you go but get nowhere. I've enlisted the help of the local office to reach out to billing on my behalf. They admit to me that they do not receive a call back either. I've begun holding on to my statements, fearful that if I do make a full payment that I will NEVER get a billing resolution. You have to wonder if this is the intention all along--to gaslight consumers into paying what they do not owe--would that not constitute mail fraud??? Now, after my many many attempts to get SOMEONE . . . ANYONE . . . to assist me with my billing question and issues, they are threatening to send me to Collections. Is that not rich???? If I could give this company less than one zero, I would do so. Dealing with Lincare has been misery. My intention is to report all of this to the Pulmonology practice who referred me. They should send no one to Lincare. Ever. And most of these supplies you can get from Amazon, anyway, so I ask myself and anyone else in the same boat: Why do we continue to torture ourselves????? I know they've had trouble keeping drivers and that's probably part of the problem because they are short staffed, but the customer service is not great.! read more

A representative at the Springfield office assured me that an O2 concentrator would be delivered to me on Friday, 12/8. No one showed up. Not on Friday, not on Saturday, not on Sunday, not as of 2 pm Monday. There is no problem with the order, which they received from an out-of-state Lincare office. On Monday, I tried to reach the office and my call was immediately transferred to "on hold" status. 20 minutes later, the answering service picked up the call. I asked for an urgent return call. I am still waiting. This is simply inexcusable medical practice for which only Lincare can assume responsibility. They apparently are so incompetent I could not even pay them payment in their website. All the sites I see are in the far left coast where everything is currently incompetent. Lincare has a long way to go to impress this daughter! Not sure if they know what providing good client service is about; mom qualified for daytime oxygen, left with Rx in hand and was to told to call Lincare and they would fax the good doctor the paperwork and it would get things rolling. Lincare was adamant that she needed to call the doctor. They could do nothing until they receive paperwork! I asked if they could just send a request, the answer was that all they could do is fax over a note to let them know they needed an order.... hello, like thats not helpful!!! Did she offer to do it, nope. I even asked why they wouldn't just send a note on behalf of their client as calling over as a patient would lengthen the process, I asked if the Rx was essentially useless... she said "pretty much" apparently they repeatedly tell providers what they need to do for Medicare and they never do it. Wow, way to throw your bread and butter under the bus!!! How about a little health care teamwork Lincare. Patients first.... Not to mention that when my mom inquired earlier this month as to when they might service her oxygen concentrator as it had been over a year... the female representative on the Lincare side told her that's not possible. Hmmm. Not according to what's been recorded, AND my mom's had the same machine for over a year... smh. Poor service. Poor quality control. Our elders are so vulnerable to neglect. The people in the office in Springfield were so rude and heartless as they try to get out of completing their five-year contract with Medicare just because I was on hospice for a few months and Hospice have to use Norco anyway I'm not supposed to be under stress at all and these people have taken greediness to a whole Nother level. Lincare in Florence, Oregon really put my family through a lot. My dad needed cpap and bipap machines, as well as oxygen, and toward the end of his life he needed walkers, a hospital bed, wheelchair and other supplies. Nothing was ever easy with Lincare! Everything was sent in the wrong size or without proper gear. For example the wheelchair was sent without foot rests, bed sent without a mattress, they wouldn't supply small oxygen bottles that he was used to and could stash in walker seat, only big bottles on caddy he was supposed to pull behind him. Impossible and down right dangerous for a patient who uses a walker! He was approved by insurance for a portable oxygen concentrator, unfortunately that never came. He was housebound by the time we were told by a delivery person that there were machines sitting in their storage room and staff was unsure which patients had been approved for them. Hospice nurses and my family were frustrated to no end by how unprofessional and rude the office staff was. I was hung up on by the office manager. They accused my mom of lying and said my dad broke equipment, which was untrue. Even delivery people from the company agreed that the office was completely unorganized. One was sent to the house twice with the same ill fitting wheelchair feet before we were told they would not be providing feet that fit, rendering the wheelchair useless for my dad. After the clunky hospital bed was delivered it sat in my parents house for an entire month before a mattress arrived. This meant my dad had to sleep sitting up for the last month of his life. He passed away the night the mattress came, when he was finally able to lay down. Heartbreaking. Obviously I can't blame Lincare for my dad being sick. However, he could have been a lot more comfortable. He could have gotten out more, enjoyed more fresh air, and been able to rest a little easier in the final months of his life had he been able to get the insurance approved equipment that he needed and was entitled to. Prior to Lincare he used a company in Eugene who delivered supplies with no problem. We figured that a local company would be more convenient but we were sadly mistaken. They used being located in a small town as an excuse for not being able to supply the equipment they should. Supplying people with medical equipment is an extremely important job, if you can't do it well, don't! Especially in a town with such a high population of seniors. Shame on Lincare! We contacted the head of the company to try to get some quicker results and he was unable to help. I believe this branch should be shut down. My mother and I are in the process of writing an open letter to Lincare, as well as filing complaints with insurance provider and Department of Health and Human Services. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend Lincare to my worst enemy! read more

I called the Springfield, Oregon store today and told the female answering the phone that I had acquired my CPAP from Lincare several years ago and it has been shutting off in the night and wanted to know how to replace it. After some time the employee came back on the line and told me that she didn't have a record for me. I asked that she check again, which she did, and then she told me that she found my account and that the machine is 12 years old and out of warranty. I agreed that was 12 years old and asked how do I get a new one. She said call your doctor and he will order a new one. I asked which doctor, the Sleep Study doctor, or my normal family doctor. The was a pause of about a minute. I asked are you still there? She finally said "I don't think that you need another sleep study." I told her I didn't ask if I needed another sleep study, just which doctor to call to get the machine ordered. She then said due to COVID-19 all doctors are doing teleconference appointments with patients. I don't know why she told me that. I asked again, which doctor should I call? She said call your family physician. I asked does he write a prescription for the machine? She said he will just order it. So I asked can anyone order the machine? She told me only doctors can order the CPAP. I left this experience very frustrated and feel that this woman doesn't have any idea about the service and equipment that she is supposed to be giving customer service for. I should have know better than to call the Springfield store. This is not the first time that I have had bad service from the employees there. The owners or manager will give better service if you are allowed to talk to them. read more

Called the Springfield OR office. After pressing the option I wanted (CPAP supplies) I was transferred to an office in Florida, and told to call the number back and hold for someone to answer. I called again & was on hold for 4 minutes & was cut off. The third time I called and held for 6 minutes and finally got someone very rude who was relatively unintelligible verbally (I had to ask them to repeat themselves with nearly every question she asked because she did not speak clearly and I have excellent hearing, and when I answered her questions, she was very curt) and said someone would call me back "eventually." I have a broken machine, and so I have not received CPAP therapy in over a week. My sleep clinic sent a prescription order for a new machine in July and September. I don't think Lincare knows what they're doing. They said they cancelled the first order, but had no record of why. They said they had not received the September order. I have copies of both prescriptions and proof they were faxed in my online report from my clinic. They first called and said I needed to come by and sign a form. When I got there, I was told I needed an hour-long appointment to sign a large stack of papers. After making this appointment, they called and said forget the appointment and call the supply center. I spoke to the supply center and they said I needed to go to my local Lincare office and sign something, but they did not know what. When I called Lincare, they said I should get my supplies in 3-4 days, so there was nothing I needed to sign. I said, "Does that include my machine?" And they said, "What machine? Has it been over 5 years?" I said, "Of course." The person on the phone said, "You have your supplies coming. You never missed a regular supply order." No apology. I repeated again, "My machine has been broken for over a week and I have no sleep therapy." They are required to provide a replacement machine until repair is done, but they did not offer. What do they do in that office all day long? I am horrified that some people have to depend on Lincare for life-sustaining oxygen. Please don't go there! read more

The honeymoon phase while securing me as a customer was half-decent, but since signing the contract it has been nothing but a complete waste of time!
