It kind of feels like they are gouging an out of towner here. Not sure what it cost else where because this is the first one I have had. I googled cost before I went in and clinics were quoted 100 to 300 dollars and emergency room visit was the most expensive at get this 1000 to 1500 dollars. Does Sameritan walk in clinic charge emergency room prices or is that just for outsiders. This is what is wrong with America! So bad it upset my stomach. Then I had to deal with my lab. So obviously they are probably overworked and not enough staff. When you call them these days they take forever to answer the phone. I found out this morning that PeaceHealth itself had layed off 20,000 workers in January 2020. That was pre-covid19. Now I know why it takes so long to get the phone calls answered. Additionally, their pricing for out-of-pocket patients is reasonable, which rarely exists in the medical field at all in America.
