Shockingly egregious experience. Never have I ever been treated so poorly in my life. I had come…read moreback in after taking time to think about my feelings, and about what had just happened. I wanted to talk to the receptionist who struck me as genuinely hearing me. I spoke with her, she listened and was paying attention to my words. I felt heard and seen. Until.... Until the nasty receptionist who was passive aggressive, rude, disrespectful earlier on the phone to me, and not just to me but also to my melanin blessed sweet girl. This receptionist interrupted my conversation, stood up, leaned into our conversation and tried to take it over. She got louder and louder dominating our conversation. I immediately told her I was talking to the other lady because my interaction with her was so bad earlier. She persisted! At this point I told her to stop! yet she persisted with her aggressive assault on my conversation. I was done being nice, done listening to her hijack my conversation, and finally told her to shut her mouth. She spun out! and launched a verbal tirade at me. I told her to shut her mouth a few times as a man from across the room, behind me starts yelling at me. He continues to yell at me, from across the room. The nasty receptionist was still blathering at me so I couldn't hear what he was saying. I assumed he was some weird Ken, and tried to focus on my conversation. Then I look and see a guy in sweats (who was actually security) yelling at me to get out. I was mortified he was speaking to me. He continued to yell at me in front of a room with at least 15 people telling me I was disrespectful and needed to get out. Never ever in my 56 years have I ever been asked to leave somewhere, I've NEVER had an interaction with any security or police. I'm going to leave my background and backstory out because it only matters to me, but I will say I have a unique perspective that most do not on public safety, public relations, security and law, and what happened tonight was more than bad. My kids later let me know they were talking about me, and my girl in the back. I am 56, grey hair and look professional even when casual. I look like anyone's grandma. So I must assume this is how everyone is treated. Having a few bad actors in clinic is a bad look. I will be taking my time preparing a formal complaint against the receptionist and the security guard, and I will give this issue all of my energy until I feel this is corrected. A receptionist who is so arrogant and entitled to interrupt and take over the other receptionist conversation with me has no respect for her coworkers or clients. And a security guard who escalated a situation rather than de-escalating it, used verbal intimidation and verbally kicked me out is a liability. Not only have I NEVER experienced something like this ever in my life, I have never been ganged up on by healthcare staff. I am interested in seeing how they are going to try and spin this on their end. This was egregious. And a HUGE mistake on them. I will never return.

Despite me updating it. Then they took the total charge for the visit out of my account because they billed the wrong insurance. Have literally been trying to get this taken care of for two weeks now and the money still hasn't been returned to me. The second time I went they sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy, despite me giving them my current pharmacy information. The people working there are nice but the billing mistake cost me a lot of money and it's been incredibly stressful to try and get this resolved. To be clear - I called the urgent care directly and was told that they billed the wrong insurance. My OLD insurance and were in the process of re-billing my actual insurance. This review isn't because I don't understand the billing process - it's because even, almost a month after that conversation - I still have not been able to get a refund from them :) They charged $250 because of their billing the wrong insurance and even though they have re-billed my proper insurance, I still have not gotten the money back.

The receptionist was quick and friendly. I sat down and waited to be seen. I went to the bathroom once, it was clean and easy to access. I passed the time waiting by reading a book I brought with me, knowing the wait would be long like it usually is at urgent care facilities. I was there for probably bronchitis and just wanted confirmation that nothing more serious was going on and that I was no longer contagious as I'm travelling internationally in a week. The waiting room is big and clean. Seats are spread apart and grouped by 1s, 2s, and 3s so you can sit with family or distance yourself from everyone else. You could hear a few employees joking around and giggling loudly in the back but otherwise it was fine. Someone came in while I waited and there was no receptionist there to help them for a few minutes - too busy giggling in the back I guess. The receptionist eventually came back out and told him there was an hour and a half wait (something she couldn't answer when I asked, which was weird) and he left. Someone else then came in and also left when told about the wait. At this point I was already locked in and had to wait, but I had a book so I didn't mind too much. I was brought back at 10:55 and Lenie took my vitals. She was very fast and took down my complaints while taking vitals. She was friendly and thorough, letting me know what all of my vitals were which I appreciated. Dr. Warner came in around 11:30 and checked me out. She wrote me a few prescriptions and was very friendly but also fast, not wasting time because she knew we were all busy and wanted to get on with our days. She put in the order for the meds and came back and walked me through the meds. She was again friendly and professional, giving me honest info. I was out at 11:50am, just over two hours after arriving. It was one of the longer urgent care visits I've had but I'm just glad to have some meds to help me get better faster and hopefully before my trip.

The way this doctor made me feel like it's my fault I don't have a primary care physician. I have insurance. How dare you treat an adult seeking help the way you did!

I have absolutely *ZERO* love for the medical industry: as plenty of my other reviews attest, this…read morefield is the single most wide-spread scam in human history, if only because everyone on earth is eventually funneled into the system, sooner or later. And while I've had "okay enough" experiences at this location, I wanted to give the place the highest rating possible, specifically because of Dr Macmaster. Why? Because HE LISTENED WHEN SO MANY OTHERS WOULDN'T. Year after year, I've dealt with one "physician" after another who either a) ignored my symptoms because they seemed inconvenient, b) tried to fob me off with pills instead of making any effort toward any true solution at all, and/or c) were openly condescending in their distaste toward me, often enough along with their office staff. The one thing they all have in common? An eagerness to bill, and to run out of the room as quickly as possible. It was a godsend to finally find someone willing to just do their damn job, and without deliberately making the patient feel like they themselves are the problem. I understand that doctors have to deal with idiots all the time who - for example - smoke regularly & then can't figure out why their health is shit... but it's a spectacular breath of fresh air to know that there are still a few professionals out there who are not yet entirely jaded by their own chosen profession.

When it comes to urgent care, it's already messy enough. Especially if you are an OHP card carrier…read moreand have private insurance (as a condition for my disability services, I have to be in OHP), and it's one thing if they don't take OHP, but some places will not take you if you are dual, like I am. (If at all possible, arrive early for better results!) So if you are a dual carrier of OHP & private insurance and you need urgent care, call PeaceHealth.

My daughter had a long labor and the ladies here were all so caring, patient and helpful. After she gave birth, they took care of my daughter and baby to make sure everything was good and normal. As my brother's POA and representative I had to change his mailing address and after four months they still haven't managed it. The actual doctors and nurses and physical therapists? They did seem good, and I genuinely liked most of them. The hospital is in a nice location and we appreciated having sunlight and views. But the hospital is bad with communicating with each other and with us family members, bad with paperwork and legal bureaucracy, bad with computers. I watched my brother writhing in pain for 45 minutes while a nurse couldn't get the computer to allow the next dose of pain meds to come through. Eventually a pharmacy worker came up and they stood around the computer going, "Huh! That's interesting. Never seen that before." I had to file my power of attorney documents multiple times which is now described in the first paragraph of this review because it's gone on so long. "Maybe you should file it again with us in person," one guy said. I had already filed it, in person, at their front desk, and had the receipt for it. The real hands-on medical staff was focused on my brother's basic health needs to some degree, and I thank the medical professionals who saved his life. The hospital SYSTEM only cared about getting my brother out of his hospital bed as soon as possible, into some other kind of care facility, even though he'd caught a new bacterial infection while in their hospital.
