I have had issues with BestMed in the past on a professional level.  When I got sick in February, I figured those issues wouldn't affect a personal visit.  It was still awful! My wife made an appointment online. We arrived about a half an hour early (just because that's how we were raised).  We waited for 2 hours before they finally called me back.  Then I waited another 45 minutes before the doctor came in. She didn't listen to me.  My wife could audibly hear a rattle in my chest when breathing normally.  The doctor couldn't... with the stethoscope.  I told her my fever came and went, but that I'd had it off and on for a week.  She said, "As long as you're improving, there's really nothing to do but wait."  During the conversation it came up that I have mild asthma, but that I haven't had an inhaler for a long time.  She told me to just keep using it, if the wheezing persists... but I wasn't wheezing... and she said my chest sounded clear... AND... I don't have an inhaler.  So she wrote me a prescription for a new one.  She also said she'd order a swab of my throat, just in case, but she was pretty sure it was just a viral infection and I'd just have to wait to get over it.  The nurse came in and swabbed my throat and said I should hear back from them on Monday (it was Friday). I never did. I went by the pharmacy the following  Wednesday to pick up my inhaler prescription (because I wasn't wheezing and didn't really need it right away) and the pharmacist said I had two prescriptions ordered for me - one for albuterol (inhaler) and one for Amoxicillin!? I tried calling BestMed to find out why they ordered an antibiotic for a viral infection, but was put on hold and didn't have time to wait.  I was feeling quite a bit better by that point too. So I wasn't too concerned about it, just confused. 18 days later... I get a letter in the mail from BestMed telling me to contact them.  They said they had tried to call me (I checked my phone - no missed messages), but couldn't reach me.  The letter said that there was an abnormality in my lab results that they wanted to discuss with me and that they ordered a prescription for an antibiotic that I should take the full course.  So I tried to call them again. I waited on hold for 45 minutes!! Only to be told that a medical assistant would call me back. They never did. I went on their website and left this post as feedback. They thanked me and said someone would contact me shortly... They never did. read more

I arrived here around 9:30am on a Monday. There were two people waiting to be seen and one checking in. The person checking in took a while but when it was my turn it all went quickly. The receptionist was quick and friendly. I sat down and waited to be seen. I went to the bathroom once, it was clean and easy to access. I passed the time waiting by reading a book I brought with me, knowing the wait would be long like it usually is at urgent care facilities. I was there for probably bronchitis and just wanted confirmation that nothing more serious was going on and that I was no longer contagious as I'm travelling internationally in a week. The waiting room is big and clean. Seats are spread apart and grouped by 1s, 2s, and 3s so you can sit with family or distance yourself from everyone else. You could hear a few employees joking around and giggling loudly in the back but otherwise it was fine. Someone came in while I waited and there was no receptionist there to help them for a few minutes - too busy giggling in the back I guess. The receptionist eventually came back out and told him there was an hour and a half wait (something she couldn't answer when I asked, which was weird) and he left. Someone else then came in and also left when told about the wait. At this point I was already locked in and had to wait, but I had a book so I didn't mind too much. I was brought back at 10:55 and Lenie took my vitals. She was very fast and took down my complaints while taking vitals. She was friendly and thorough, letting me know what all of my vitals were which I appreciated. Dr. Warner came in around 11:30 and checked me out. She wrote me a few prescriptions and was very friendly but also fast, not wasting time because she knew we were all busy and wanted to get on with our days. She put in the order for the meds and came back and walked me through the meds. She was again friendly and professional, giving me honest info. I was out at 11:50am, just over two hours after arriving. It was one of the longer urgent care visits I've had but I'm just glad to have some meds to help me get better faster and hopefully before my trip. read more

On Sept 10th, I went to the W 11th BestMed Urgent Care after hitting my head and getting a minor gash. Even though it wasn't life-threatening, I was still concerned because of how hard I hit my head. About 10 minutes after checking in, I was told they don't have VRI, and the provider said they were "uncomfortable" seeing me without an ASL interpreter -- even though I explained I could communicate using my voice and speech-to-text. Instead of treating me, they told me to go to a clinic across town, but the second clinic never offered me VRI like they said they would. I've been to this clinic many times before with my kids, and they always found ways to accommodate me (pen and paper, speech-to-text, or once with VRI). This time, they refused. Being denied care after a head injury -- even a minor one unacceptable. No one should ever be turned away because they're Deaf. read more

My daughter paid their fee, the extra cost for a lab test in order to get a refill, send it off the our pharmacy and it is only for 1 month. Call to say yah, blah, blah. blah. FRAUD ALERT! Many months after receiving service from Best Med in Eugene, Or., we received a bill for nearly $1,000. We called the billing office to let them know that our medical insurance clearly had not paid yet. Months later, we received the same bill. Again, we called to get the bill addressed. Months go by another bill. Another call. Best Med says our insurance denied coverage. We call our insurance provider. They explain that they had not received the bill from Best Med. Ever. We call Best Med and tell them that Providence is waiting for the bill and ready to pay! Many months later, we receive a collections bill! We now know that Best Med billed the insurance for another patient! You can't make this up. Best Med never billed our insurance. Ever. Buffoons. Stay away from Best Med. read more

I have been to this clinic several times and in spite of what the star count looks like, I think this is a very efficient and capable clinic to go to and I do give it a rating of 4 stars only because I never give 5 to any business. This time I was in for a moderate medical case and I was treated correctly and appropriately. When it was all over, I felt rushed to leave. I was asked if I had any questions but I wasn't given any time to answer. And at the moment , I didn't have any. It was later when I picked up a prescription that I "had a question." I am medically trained and as such felt there should have been 2 essential scripts instead of 1. So overall I feel like I wasted the trip but still would give this a 4 star with disappointment and next time I may try the BM clinic on Willamette St. C. Young read more

I have had the WORST customer service from BestMed. My daughter was seen in January 2025 for a workers comp injury. We filled out a TON of forms, they gave her an x-ray, and a splint, and told us we had to go to a different office that only handles workers comp injuries. In February, I got a bill from BestMed. They were billing ME directly. I called them and said that this was a workers comp injury, gave them the workers comp info, and thought I was done with it. I got another bill in February. I called again. I got another bill in March, April, and May. I called them again in May, and was told that they were missing a workers comp form. They said they needed that form in order to bill the workers comp company. I asked them to send me the form. I got another bill in June, so I called again. They told me they couldn't send the form, that I would have to go into the clinic to get it. Which I did. I filled it out, and took it back to the clinic on 7/2. I watched the young lady at the counter scan the form into my daughter's chart. I called today 7/9 to confirm that they had the form, and that workers comp would finally be billed. I was told again they do not have the form. I was also told that as of 6/25 they'd reported my account to collections. This is NOT my fault! They've been given the correct information MULTIPLE times over the course of the past 7 months, and they're refusing to bill it correctly. I don't know what else to do. I've even had the workers comp adjuster calling on my behalf, and they won't listen to him either. I've never in my life had customer service this horrible. We went here because my infant had a cut on her finger that wouldn't stop bleeding. She unfortunately had a diaper blowout right when we arrived in the room and the doctor said "gross." He then proceeded to say he couldn't do anything for the cut and told us to just let it bleed into a bandaid with pressure. Well we already tried that for five hours. After saying he wouldn't do anything for us he kept taking off the tissue that was stopping the bleed and watching it bleed and wiping it off, at least 5-6 times. I told him to stop and he looked at me like he was offended. Well are you just watching her bleed for fun? You said you wouldn't do anything. We left and had to go to the ER so they could put clotting aide on it which should have just happened here. Do they not have basic clotting aid??? I don't understand. Really not great. read more

I was able to schedule an appointment same day, as my daughter's pediatrician was booked out until December. Upon arrival Breanna went above and beyond to make sure my daughter who was being seen was comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. I watched her greet and care for each person in the lobby as they came in with kindness and attentiveness that doesn't often happy anymore. (She truly deserves a raise as she managed that desk solo with everyone feeling seen and cared about)... Everyone was prompt, the nurse explained to my daughter in detail how a strep test worked so she wasn't scared and everything was timely... Doctor is rude for no reason and takes forever even when they are slow. I thought the other reviews were just people whining but this place needs a major overhaul. They act this way because there isn't any other options. I would highly recommend driving farther away to go to another clinic or hopefully another company opens up some competition. I have never been so shocked and furious in a healthcare situation before. We are in from out of town and my three year old has a 103 fever. He urgently needs to be seen for a possible ear infection. We tried to reach a pediatric office but were turned away. They directed us to BestMed and said to make an appointment online. Three were not taking appointments but this one was, and gave me an appointment for 6pm. It was 2:50pm at the time the appointment was assigned. At 4:18pm I received a text message saying they are "currently providing care with telemedicine" and to text if I had any questions. I texted back in confusion asking if I should still come at 6. Someone responded saying no, there was no provider. Words fail in describing how maddening it was for this person to say "I apologize for the inconvenience" and "I have done the best that I can" -- when they had done absolutely nothing. I told them that if I had gotten this message two hours earlier I could have taken my son to another clinic. Now I am scrambling to find somewhere to take him and we may wind up in the ER. This administration should be ashamed of itself. As if this wasn't dysfunctional enough, I just got another text reminding me that "it's time to show up at approximately 6:00pm". If you try to make an appointment here, don't think you can rely on it, especially if a vulnerable child is involved. read more

Don't waste time going here, especially in an urgent care situation! They are NOT an urgent care facility. I took my son there after he fell at the skate park and was told upon coming in that, 1) they did not have an X-ray machine (WTH??), and 2) they were "only seeing people by appointment." Yes, you read that right: by appointment - for URGENT CARE! Again, don't waste time going here...just head another mile down West 11th to PeaceHealth Urgent Care. There will probably be a wait but at least you'll get the help you need eventually. read more

Don't bother going into their urgent care clinics, doesn't matter if you call ahead or not. They'll tell you that a location has specific services over the phone and when you show up tell you that the only location with those services is on the other side of town. Will they call the other location and get you on the waiting list since they're the ones that gave you wrong info? NO! Will they find out if the other location even has time to help you? Also NO! And when you call for yourself? They'll tell you they've got plenty of availability and when you've raced to get there you'll get told that they're full up for the night even though it's 2 hours before they close and they've known that for 20 minutes and you should probably go spend an entire night waiting in the ER instead. I went to tge w 11th location today 7/18/23 for help in what is a sinus and ear infection. I was there right at opening and I have been here many times before always good quick service. However today I had vangie the medical assistant who seemed in a bad mood the second she called my name to come back. She took my blood pressure and temp without saying a word and just slamming things around then instead of asking why I was there or for symptoms she asked very rudely, what do you want? When I asked her what she meant she asker had I already taken a covid test at home, I said no. She asked if I wanted a covid test or flu test. I said I was there for my sinuses so I didn't think I needed it unless she thinks it necessary then I guess. She said I don't fucking care what you do. And then ripped her gloves off and stormed out slamming the door. My husband was luckily with Me so he went out and confronted her in the hall about how inappropriate and unprofessional she was she just smiled and said sarcastically your welcome. We complained to the DR and she gave us a number to call. As we were leaving she shouted after us, have a wonderful day super sarcastically. Just insane hiw unprofessional that was. The doctor was great but this person should not being working with the public let alone sick people. Every time I visit Nova Health for a medical problem, they always tell me something is serious and I need to go to the hospital. Twice have they done this. I go to the hospital and everything always turns out fine and there isn't anything wrong with me, opposite of what Nova says. First time, they thought I had appendicitis, (hospital told me there's nothing wrong with me.) Second time, I'm told I have an abnormal EKG, (hospital tells me my EKG is fine.) I don't know what the nurses/doctors here are doing, but it's obvious they can't do their job correctly or they work with the hospitals to help them make more money because this is TWICE that nova has given me incorrect evaluations/tests and sends me to the hospital! I asked the nurse at the hospital why is Nova saying that I'm unwell then?! The nurse just shrugs and says she has no idea. Waste of my money to Nova and the Hospital! Seems like scammers to me or the people here just don't know how to do their jobs. On top of this, I tried to come into Nova at 3pm but they said they're too full and to come back at 5:40 instead. Whatever, I come back and check in at 5:40 and I waited in the waiting room for a full entire HOUR and there was only one other person waiting in the lobby. Terrible don't even waste your time. They are completely unorganized and lack communication skills. I came in and got checked in around 5:15 pm. Then was sent to my car to wait for a call. Got a call about 40 min later that there is an open room and to come back inside. Once I got inside, the lady handling the front desk was completely lost as to what was going on and couldn't even tell me who called me into the office to be seen. She then sent me back to my car to wait for another hour. I got another call and returned back into the office again for the lady at the front desk to once again tell me I still was not next to be seen and I needed to wait longer. (she acted as if I was lying about receiving a call or something) she even once stated that it could have been a mistake? Lol. She also kept telling people who were walking in that they were "backed up" and too "busy" to accept any walk ins, when in fact I didn't see a single person walking in or out of there urgent care doors. I would just recommend finding another urgent care to go to if you're ever really in need, unless you have 4-5 hours of your day of course. read more

Grossly overcharged for a 10 minute visit consisting of basic vital and an EKG. We ended up at McKenzie Willamette ER after leaving there. Spent 5 hours getting a work-up and the bill was half the price. There is another urgent care just down the street that we will go to if the need ever arises again. read more

I had a horribly painful throat, clogged itchy ear and one eye was very irritated (and was in fact conjunctivitis). I checked in online and was seen promptly. The nurse I saw was very nice he took a strep throat culture and said the doctor would come back with results. When Dr. Moore came in she said my strep test was negative. She then proceeded to check my throat, confirm my lymph nodes down my whole neck were very swollen. She listened to my lungs, never said a word, not even "everything sounds fine". She never looked into my eye or did an eye test. She looked into both ears and didn't say anything either. When her job was "done" she looked at me and kind of shrugged to ask if I wanted a Covid test. I declined because I had taken several at home tests over the course of the 5 days before going to this clinic. Then asked if I wanted my throat culture sent to the lab. I also declined because the strep test was negative. She then said "well I would still like to treat you, are you allergic to penicillin?" No I'm not allergic. Then she looked at me again and said "we're done here, you can leave" I left with no paperwork or any at home instructions. I left to go to my pharmacy. They have no prescription yet. So I went home to wait. A few hours later I was in excruciating pain from my ear so I called the clinic. I give my information and they tell me they can't find a record of me. I was in there at 10am this was at 1. I was speaking to the same receptionist I had seen before. To make that whole saga shorter, they had me under my maiden name which I haven't used in 8 years. I've never been to Nova before. I have no idea where they got my old info, and there wasn't anyway she could correct my name. I would have to call on the following Monday. To whom or what number? I was never told. Then I was told to just go to the pharmacy and give my maiden name. The pharmacy checks ID. That isn't an option. I wait on hold a few times for her to come back and say I need to come back to the clinic and get my paper prescription and hand deliver it to my pharmacy. By then I was in tears crying from lack of care and exhaustion from being so ill. I couldn't drive again because my eye was now swollen and crusted. My husband was able to go, thankfully. I had to wait until 3pm to get my first dose of antibiotics. Did those antibiotics work? NO. I then had to go to another urgent care (NOT NOVA) 3 days later to check in because my other ear started to hurt as well. Turns out I have a bilateral ear infection that should have been given a heavier antibiotic to begin with. They also gave me a decongestant to help, those antibiotics didn't work though. So today I returned to have a check up where this doctor was so confused as to why penicillin was given to me in the first place. The resistance is likely from the extra days where my infection worsened. I haven't been able to hear from my right ear since my appointment on June 4th. And likely won't have hearing return for sometime. I know our healthcare providers are over-worked and stressed from the pandemic, but compassion should be at the forefront of a healthcare provider's mind while treating someone. If you hate your job or patients move on to something else. I'm not one to write bad reviews, but this is utter bullshit. Dr. Laura Moore should be ashamed of herself. Lack of urgency and basic communication is unacceptable. It isn't easy for individuals to advocate for themselves while they're consumed by pain and sickness. read more

1 star because I went in to get Covid tested. I had been exposed. my husband and daughter were both positive. I was also showing many of the symptoms specifically diareah for 4 straight days. I live about a minute away it's right around the corner from my house I had diareah so bad that I couldn't hold it in. I had to go when I had to go. Due to being exposed I couldn't use their bathroom. So I told the lady at the front desk because the wait time was going to be 45 minutes as she told me. I was going home and coming back as soon as they called me! I couldn't hold it in if I had to. She caught an attitude with me and was very rude and unprofessional with me. I went back home got a call from the nurse within two minutes and went back was there within 30 seconds. Like I told the lady at reception. They did my rapid test which came out negative and they were supposed to do my pcr as well but THEY NEVER SENT IT TO BE TESTED! So they swabbed me twice for nothing ! Because the rapid test is not 100% accurate I was waiting for the results to show up on the website they told me to go on for results. By day five after getting swabbed I called nova because my results were still not in... they told me to just keep calling I called twice for three days on day three of me calling they finally told me that they never sent my pcr to get tested because sometimes the doctor doesn't find it necessary to send. EVEN THOUGH I told them 1. I was exposed, 2. My husband and daughter were both positive and 3. I was showing symptoms !!! So out of all the people that get tested for it they decided for some odd reason not to send my pcr to the lab! Mind you I also told them I'm a HEALTH CARE WORKER! I've tried calling multiple times to try to get in touch with the provider and see his reasoning as to why my pcr was not sent to the lab but I'm always on hold for more than an hour. This was a HORRIBLE experience for all parties involved. I did my due diligence by calling ahead to make sure I could get in and get a prescription for my strep throat. I showed up and had to wait 45 minutes to get checked in. In the meantime while I am waiting there, there were more patients that showed up after me. After an hour and a half I went back in to check and see where I was in the queue and they had helped every person that came before me first when all I needed was a penicillin prescription, this all without getting a phone call. After another 45 minutes I FINALLY got checked in. After realizing that I needed to get a rapid COVID test it took yet another 45 minutes for paperwork to be processed. Instead of attending to me they left me in the cold room for that entire time without checking in on me. After my visit, I needed to pick up my prescription. They "sent" my prescription to the nearest pharmacy. But when I got there they had not gotten the prescription yet. It took them an additional couple hours to get the prescription over to the pharmacy. Even the pharmacy tech said that they don't usually send over prescriptions until the end of the day. All in all this was the WORST experience, not only did I have to wait for hours to get one prescription but the experience with the staff at Nova was not helpful and they did not take my needs into consideration. Would NOT recommend. Unless you have the entire day to waste I would not recommend this place. read more

I waited two hours to get a COVID test bc it's required for work. I was told to wait in my car and so I assumed that it wouldn't take that long. But after waiting and waiting I decided to check in and see how much longer it would be. I was told that there is 2 people ahead of me. I wait in my car again for another hour and went back in to check again and now there is three people ahead of me. After three hours I'm still fxxxing waiting. I'm nauseas, sick and pregnant. If you want someone to wait that long then let them know it's a long wait time and to come back later or maybe call them when they will be seen in 30min read more
