Love this place! I go every 2-4 weeks and get amazing pedicures and Pinterest worthy manicures. They take their time to do a great job but it doesn't take forever either. Consistent staff too - I've been coming here for the 5-6 years and it is same staff, who are all nice and friendly. They are great at picking colors too! I recommend making an Appointment (or at least calling ahead is a good idea) because they are almost always busy. A few times, I have tried a different place, and my nails never last as long or look as good. Here, my manicures usually last 2-3 weeks. My toes last forever. I got so many compliments on this manicure - I can't wait to go this weekend and get something for Easter!

I'm obsessed with my nails. I'm in my stop nail biting era and getting a mani is the only thing that helps. Went in today and got glazed donut. The chrome is on point. The tech did exactly what I asked for. Pretty pricey, but worth it.

Very polite staff, always a good experience! Love my nails every time I get them done here!

The lady showed me that she ruined my nail and then pretended to fix it but only made it worse. The nail looks like crap and I paid over $100.

    $105 for bad work.

$105 for nails $30 for toes $15 for eyebrows 100% not worth it. I was not to pleased with them this time around! They tried to Charge for this other design I wanted for $200 said that's way to much for a design else where cost $80. When I said okay to $105 she said she as going to hook me up not what I expected!!! Also broke my nail the same day but I already know they will charge me $15 for them to fix one nail! Taking them off and going to Jenny this Sunday! Won't be back!

Too expensive and a crappy job. All around the edges of my nails it looks sloppy and unfinished.

I went to Leanne for my first time doing bejeweled nails. She was so accommodating to my requests and did my nails PERFECTLY. I got an acrylic gel set with some jewels and these are my favorite nails yet!!! Please go to Leanne she knows what she's doing.

I used to love unique nails. They were my go too nail place. Occasionally my nails would break, no big deal, id just go get them fixed. . Except you pay so much and expect them not to break. My final straw was paying 85 for a fill. Not even two weeks later, three of my nails have broken. There's no point in paying so much for nails that constantly break.

Staff was friendly and nice, as always. Paid more for my nails this time than I normally do. $40 instead of $35 for regular acrylic. It's been about 3 days since I've gotten my nails done and my skin around my nails HURT! Multiple times the woman working on my nails filed or clipped my skin with equipment. At one point the tip of the nail super glued on broke off, and instead of replacing the nail, she simply glued back on the broken tip. Worried about possibly infecting at least one of my fingers nails where the skin had been clipped at, dry, cracked and irritated, and spreading downwards. Have attached some pictures, but not all! Just examples. Will not be coming back.

I have found my new nail place! I have been going to many different places and this place is the only one that I've liked. They're a little pricier than I have paid but I guess like the saying goes ... you get what you pay for. I did the pink and whites, powder.

I went here based off a recommendation from a friend. So I tried it and it dipping powder which previously I've never had chip. After 2 days one nail chipped off, so I got it fixed. The next day another one chipped and it kept happening until I've half were broken off. I paid $50 and they told me when I got the chance to go in that it had been over 10 days and it was my fault. Even though I had gone in 2 days after l I got them to fix the first. Waste of my money. Never going back. Went back to my usual salon and paid less for a better job.

I booked an appointed for 5 last saturday fory sisters bachelorette party. They said it be no problem to do 5 girls. And it wasn't though they only had 4 nail stations. Now I had never booked a nail appt before nor had I gotten my nails done so I was very glad when they graciously allowed us to do nail art without saying that in our booking. Though my sister said one said to her " next time tell us cause now we are backed up" I can understand letting us know that but it was obvious she was the bride (giant bride hat on) so it should have been brought up with one of us other girls. Overall though it was a great experience, we all had fun and if I didn't live in Bellevue I would start going on a regular basis.

$$$ Watch for hidden fees…read more I chose a "classic pedicure" which was listed as $38. When I checked out the total was $59.16. Over $20 for GEL (I brought my own) I tipped, so my $38 pedicure was $70.16 total. I don't mind paying higher prices for a spa-like experience. This just... wasn't that :/

I just want to start off by saying I love this place. I lived in Tacoma from 2021-2024 and went to…read moreLa Bella for two year straight and never had a bad experience. I recently moved back this month and started going back to La Bella. I got my nails done May 15th at 6pm and got a full set of builder gel nails. This was my first time ever getting builder gel and I liked the outcome and had a good experience. The only complaint I have is that my appointment was at 6pm and they close at 7pm and I could tell they fully rushed my nail process. They got the entire set done in 45 minutes. I understand they were closing soon but they shouldn't accept appointments that late if they plan to rush the client out of the place. A few days into the nails and they started to lift. Wednesday the 20th two nails popped off perfectly with little effort. Almost every single other nail was lifting at the cuticle, my hair was getting caught in them and they were painfully lifting and I knew they wouldn't last much longer. I called La Bella today the 20th (so I only had the nails on for 6 days, to my knowledge builder gel can last up to 3-5 weeks). I called La Bella today asking for an appointment to get them fixed. The hostess that answered the phone was very nice and she told me they would most likely fix the nails for free because that was not supposed to happen. I went in tonight around 5pm at my scheduled appointment and I asked for dip nails instead because dip is what I was used to and I know they last. I was happy with my appointment the nail tech seemed to take her time and I loved my new nails. But I was very annoyed when I checked out when they tried to charge me the full price of dip nails which was 65 dollars. I asked to speak to a manager and explained the situation. He told me it was not acceptable that the nails only lasted 6 days. He said he would charge me $45 instead. I didn't fight or fuss and I paid the full price. I am extremely annoyed there was no communication that the previous hostess told me the nails would be on the house and I feel like as a business they should've fixed their mistake. I fully planned on tipping my nail tech a good tip for redoing my nails and ensuring they were a good set. I don't know if I will be back to La Bella because of this experience and it saddens me because I truly love this place.

Scheduling an appointment with this nail salon was very easy, which I liked. They had great reviews…read moreso I was excited to try them. I got a full Gel X set with design. The tech, who I'm assuming is the owner or at least the manager was very nice and did a fantastic job. Fast forward to 3 days later and 5 nails have cracks in the tips. I called and let the person who answered know. She asked when I wanted to come in to fix them? She didn't sound surprised, she wasn't apologetic, nothing. I wasn't extra hard on my nails I did normal every day stuff I do. Because Gel X is a softer tip I can understand if a tip was too narrow for my nail bed and it cracked from that but 5 nails?! I told her I would be there first thing in the morning when they opened. I got to the salon when it opened. The man was very nice and did a great job replacing the 5 nails. About 30 minutes later the lady who originally did my nails came in. After the man was done she asked him a question about my nails. Even though it wasn't in English I knew because he shook his hair and pointed to the top of his nail. He repeated himself a couple times and kept pointing to his finger so I can only assume he was reiterating that my nails were cracked. The station I was told to sit at when I had to go back was dirty from the day before. Clipped tips were all over the floor, the towel from the day before was on the station with clippings and acrylic drops. The tools from both visits were not clean and rusty. The nail brushes to wash your nails were all first and has that reddish algae that builds up at the base. I gave 2 stars because the man to redid my nails was very nice! I will definitely not be going back to that salon.

But word is getting around that she's the best nail tech in Tacoma, and her reputation is well deserved! Tina works in a hair salon in downtown Tacoma, but she can also come to you. I've only been to the salon, but it's great--when I'm there, it's usually just me, her, and her adorable dog, so it's very mellow (you don't have to stress about a dozen other people chatting and getting their hair/nails done at the same time, like other salons). She gives great manicures and pedicures, and she is particularly well-known for her creative nail art. You can find many examples on Instagram. She even painted turkeys on my nails for Thanksgiving! As other people have commented, Tina is a wonderful person to know--she's friendly, energetic, positive, and caring. I especially admire that she volunteers as a "Nail Fairy" at the Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in her spare time. You can see that Tina has a devoted fan base--give her a try & you'll be impressed! Tip: She does all her booking through StyleSeat, a website/app for booking appointments. The app lets you see when she's available, so it's easy to find a time that works for you (I really appreciate her flexible weekend/evening hours). It also sends reminders via e-mail and text.

I really enjoyed how Tina took the time to inform me on how to take better care of my nails. Tina also provided me tips on how to make my nails grow longer and stronger. One would think that Tina's prices would be high since she is a traveling licensed manicurist, but her prices are really affordable. I use to get my nails done only once a month at other nail salons, but I go twice because of the affordability and the service is great.
