The owner of the salon took her time to fix my nails that had been destroyed by the previous salon. The staff is so nice and they listen to me. The price is more then fair. I've been going here off and on for about 12 years. But after today, this will be my forever home !!! I went to a nail place a few miles from here with my daughter earlier today. I told her we both wanted a mani/pedi. I wanted a full set ombré and her gel. Then the next day (day five) of having dipped nails a 2nd nail broke off (folding clean towels-at home). Then I saw a 3rd nail, cracked vertical. I went there for a Shellac Manicure and it was definitely not worth the money. Every time I get a manicure at least the massage you hands and your arms, but I didn't even get lotion here. First I picked a nude color, and the one I got was like Barbie pink, they obviously don't label their colors right. She got gel all over my fingers and didn't clean it, so now they are stuck. They didn't do any cuticle clean up before my full set, they do not use new or cleaned drill bits when doing a full set. Went to the place because of the good reviews, but i beg to differ. Definitely a hole in the wal, which if fine Bc i love to support small business.... but, hard to communicate with the 1 lady who speaks English. She has another person who clearly is not trained to do nails attempt to soak my nails, didn't do it correctly so it took an hour just so soak off DIP POLISH. She also didn't speak English so i could not tell her she needed more acetone on the cotton. Finally got my nails dipped , they turned out ok. But overall took 2 hours Hopefully they will last and my opinion will maybe change of this shop. Also, Not in the best area of town. Update- 4/10 nails chipped within 4 days of getting them done. Normally i keep dip on for 2-3 weeks. Now my nails are broken and look horrible ! waste of time and money. Do not go here ! read more

Anyways, at first you sit in this giant massaging chair, as it wrings your back, your feet in this foot bath with some salts? Then the nice woman comes along and does some serious work on your feet, first clipping nails, then filing them down..then working on the bottoms of feet, and massaging your feet and calves. My nails looked so great I returned this past weekend and had a fill. While there, they told me if I ever had any complaints about the service to please let them know. Let me preface this review by saying: don't let the appearance of the building scare you away. It looks a little sketchy on good old Pacific Ave, but the people inside are great and you get an excellent deal. These guys are so NICE! I got a gel pedi on Sunday and it was beautiful. I think the guy who did it was named Tony? Maybe? Idk but the foot massage was awesome, and when I requested he not scrape my feet with the gnarly cheese grater, he actually complied. Usually nail techs tell me they absolutely must use it or they just ignore me. Finally someone who listened. It was an enjoyable experience. Super cheap too. Two of the gel nails peeled off a day later, so I called them and they had me come right in to fix it for free and with pleasant attitudes. If I lived here I would frequent Jully Nails. Im so used to going to my old nail tech in Cali because she was so friendly and cooperative. I go to the place the first problem is parking. When i tell you it was ghetto...IT WAS GHETTO. i had to park in the grass on side of the barbershop because i didn't want my car getting stuck. Granted the people were friendly but the guy i had was kinda rough on my pedicure then i get to my manicure and the lady that was supposed to do it but couldn't because she needed to eat which is TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE ! the thing that kinda made me mad is the person knew i was getting coffin and apparently it was a extra $5 and i wasn't aware until i paid for my services. another thing that pissed me off was i wanted gold foil on 2 of my fingers and they said no because it wasn't gel and i told them that it could be done because i've had regular polish and foil, but i didn't argue back because i was ready to go at that point. Took a chance on the place and will definitely make the 14 mile drive to go back! The place is clean and prices are GREAT. I was pleasantly surprised to get the full spa pedi treatment (scrub, massage, hot towels) for only $20!! Where I was going, $23 gets a totally basic pedi with no salt scrub, etc. Anyway, the service was prompt - although it is a small place, so I can see having to wait if you walk in at the wrong day/time - and pleasant. As my lady began to paint my toenails, she asked if I wanted decoration (that is $10 more) and I declined. She asked, "Why not?" and I responded not today. She didn't pressure me or even ask again. I wanted to like this place. I really did! But....... My manicure was terrible. I got the shellac/gel/whatever you want to call it french manicure. When it was done I was really disappointed. The tips of my fingers and underneath my nails had white tip polish all over the place, there was clear polish all over my cuticles and the skin around my nails, one of my pinky's had some cotton stuck under the polish so it was bumpy, and she missed taking off some of my old polish on my thumb. Overall it just looked sloppy. Also, shellac/gel manicures are supposed to last at MINIMUM a week before they chip. I'm on day 3 and they've already peeled and chipped in many places. ALSO, the owner of the salon tried for a good 10 minutes to get me to let her wax my eyebrows. The first time she asked I said "no thank you, I will keep them how they are", she then explained how she would just take some off the bottom, not the top, brought a mirror over to show me, went on and on about how she has regular clients that come in all the time, what high quality wax she used, and then would say "ok so you want me to do it?" I had to say "no thank you" at LEAST 5 times. I found this super unprofessional, not to mention obnoxious. I'm sorry, but I'm not about to have my (already sparse) eyebrows done by some random woman at a nail salon I've never been too, especially since I had an important event that weekend. For $25 I got pressured to have my eyebrows done and a sloppy manicure. I will not be back. If it wasn't for my manicurist being so friendly and nice this place probably wouldn't have gotten even 2 stars. read more

They are always friendly and playful and they are NOT the ladies that will sit there silently or talk to one another while ignoring you.
