I've been to this salon twice, both times I've seen Ivy. She's very friendly and accommodating, although there is a bit of a language barrier. In the long run though, it's all about the quality of her work, and I'm completely satisfied. It's been almost 4 weeks since my last pedicure and the polish is still beautiful. My gel manicure lasted 3 weeks...and only needed to be redone because of growth. At other salons I've had issues with chipping polish...which was blamed on me...not one nail has chipped after seeing Ivy. The salon is clean with a good "vibe"... read more

I went in for a mani and pedi with my mother in law. We both thought our pedicures were great but when we got to our manicures it was terrible. We both decided to go for acrylic instead of a regular manicure. We just asked for the same gel color we used on our toes. Our acrylic came out lumpy and messy. They didn't clean up under our nails so some nails are thicker than others and some have acrylic stuck on the bottom. Some nails were longer than others as well. We were just not happy at all with our acrylics for the amount we paid. In total I paid $220 for our manis and pedis. Regardless of the work the staff was nice so we still decided to tip $50. We probably will not return again. Very nice people though I feel bad leaving such a bad review :( read more

Everything about my experience here was perfect. The salon is clean and comfortable and the people who work here are very friendly too. My nail technician was Winnie and another lady did my pedicure, but I didn't catch her name. They both did an amazing job. Prices are decent. This is definitely my new spot! read more

This little nail shop is hidden in a shopping center and almost unnoticeable from outside. I was headed home from Frazier Farms and asked Siri to tell me where there was a nail shop near me and she lead me here! Way to go Siri! I had a toe injury and hadn't gotten a pedicure in almost a year. My daughter starts school tomorrow and was begging to get one. We both got pedicures and she got a manicure for $45 (not including tip) They were super busy and a little short staffed when we got there, but i didn't mind waiting at all. After all, we walked in without an appointment. The place is very modern and extremely clean! The massage chairs were all in great condition and the foot tubs were shiny clean! The ladies were very friendly. They seemed genuine as well. They were always smiling and never distracted. I'm really glad I found this spot. It's definitely going to be my new "go to" for mani-pedi's! read more

Never in my 17 years of salon experience have I been treated so horribly. I set my appointment with salon owner Snow. I arrived on time & ready for my new full set as I had requested directly with her. I waited patiently while she continued with her other client. I was then directed by another woman to sit in her chair. The horrendously rude treatment began. As the nail tech Jackie began berating me about the 3 remaining nails I had left on. As she stated "This is such an inconvenience! Who would do such a horrible job like this?!" Shocked by these statements, without ever meeting her before or knowing her name. Snows client spoke up as she noticed my discomfort, "Don't worry, she's mean to everyone. She means well. She does a good job. Just look past her mean attitude." At this very moment I should have left, due to the premonition. I proceeded to explain in detail to Jackie my request for long square nails as wide as my nail base, also thicker. As I continued to explain it was necessary due to my job as a Physio therapist. I'm hard on my nails! Jackie agreed & said "No problem!" I noticed she was placing tips that were small & pinching my nails, I kindly reminded her of my needs. She replied "Don't worry it will be ok." Then she proceeded to try & convive me of getting coffin shaped. I continued to tell her NO! Through out the entire time she constantly adjusted my hands & arms. Yelling at me to "RELAX!!" Telling me how frustrating I was to deal with. After she applied the acrylic I told her for the third time, I needed them thicker. She replied "You don't know what you want, you'll be fine! I know how to do nails, not you!" Mind you, Snow the salon owner & person i scheduled with is present to all of this unprofessional, rude behavior. I really spoke up, nicely & said "No, I know what I need." Then Snow finally spoke up, only to say "See if you can go two weeks without them breaking. Then you know you can survive with them like this!" I was floored by this behavior!!! Jackie smugly laughs & finishes my nails. At which time she raised the price on me by $10! When she quoted me one price at the beginning. I brought this up to her & she states "Your long nails are so HARD!! It takes sooooo much time to do, because you wanted them long my next client is waiting!!" I said well, I clarified this with Snow before I made the appointment. So it's not my fault you take 2 1/2 hours for a new set. She then left me at the table for other client while I dried my gel coat nails. Having to switch my hands myself. Due to the salon having a few clue ya o did not desire to create a bigger scene. I text Snow directly with displeasement. She did apologize & asked me to book with her directly. I then reminded her I had the first time & due to her lack of concern for Jackie's behavior & her added behavior I was not comfortable returning. I requested a refund. Which she denied & said no matter how hard the try they can't please everyone! I later spoke to a friend about the horrible incident & she said she had experienced something similar. She also spoke to Snow about Jackie's outlandish rude behavior. Again Snow defended her. So I suggest you save your time, money & dignity by not going here. read more

Hana does a great job. I had been going to this nail salon for 2+ years. But the owner seems to be very demanding. Never mattered to me cause I only went to Hana. Finally I tried to say something and she acted rude and narcissistic back to me. Sorry Hana. No more 25-30% tips cause I'm not coming back read more

Rude & discriminatory. Insisted on running my card before they got started. Jackie also said a comment, "what if we finish and we try to charge you and it doesn't work?" Requested that I go to Frazier Farms to get cash back even after i confirmed that it was a Mastercard I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and stayed to get my nails done. She made one of my fingers bleed. Then asked me to pay before I had my set finished. Guess last time I came in for only polish & left a $15 tip wasn't enough. would not recommend to come here. read more

** update ** 1/12 I got a dip power manicure this time & am IN LOVE!! Jackie paid close attention to every detail & made sure to triple check that the shape was uniform. I chose a very pale translucent pink and I love the natural look. Can't wait to see how these compare to gels but this may be my favorite manicure ever. This was my first time at this salon and it was a really great experience! I was welcomed in and everyone was very friendly. I called ahead of time and there was no wait. Snow did my acrylic gel nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she was able to perfectly execute what I asked for. She really took her time to make sure they were perfect, she paid so much attention to detail and I felt like I could trust her to do a great job. Definitely want to return back again! read more

Jackie is the absolute best! When I first went in, I was getting the dip powder on my nails and she recommended a different way that would make my nails stronger and able to withstand playing softball (still using the dip powder, just with a brush!). The other women working there are all great with pedicures as well! Everyone is super friendly and they welcome you in with great customer service. I will continue going back every couple of weeks! read more

I absolutely love this nail salon! I come here every 3 weeks for a gel manicure and spa pedicure with Kathy and Hanna - the dream team! They always take such good care of me :) they do a fantastic, detailed job and I always leave happy and pampered. I drive 30 mins out of my way to come here! That's how great they are. I usually have a great experience. Jackie is my favorite go to person for my nails but the other girls ale good too. Except for Saturday, I got a new lady, she did a horrible job, I had to keep telling her to what to do, she didn't cut my cuticles, my nails are different shapes. Just not good at all. It was a lady that was wearing a wig. I probably won't go there anymore. I'm giving it 3 starts for the past good experiences. read more

My go to nail salon! Suki gives the best pedicures. I had an ingrown toenail for several months that was causing a decent amount of pain and scheduled a podiatry appointment 1 month out. After my pedicure with Suki, the pain was gone and I've not had an ingrown since. Ryan also does a wonderful job with manicures. His attention to detail with my acrylics was appreciated. Lastly, Jackie ensures your appointment time is honored. Walk ins are welcome but they are great at being fair in balancing walk ins with pre-scheduled appointments. read more

Came here for the first time to get a manicure and gel done a few days ago. The ladies at the shop were all very kind and engaged in conversation, but sadly I won't be going back. Their quality of nail polish wasn't good and not sure if it was the way my nail lady applied the gel too. You can see the brush lines on ALL of my nails, my nails have different tone (some dark some light), and literally just after 3 hours of getting my nails done, the nail polish was already peeling off. I have never been to a nail shop and just hours after have this happen. read more

Had a really good experience today at Unique nails! Came in with a large group, we made a reservation and had 0 wait time which was really nice. The nail tech who did my nails was amazing and so so detail oriented which I really appreciated! Such a clean appearance and extremely friendly staff, will definitely be coming back! My only negative was that some of the other girls in our group felt a bit rushed and had their pedicures done in about half the time the rest of us did but my experience was amazing! read more

So you know how you can stumble on some shop/cafe/mechanic that you've never heard of before and you fall in LOVE with it. So, you start talking about it your mom because mom knows everything. However you leave out certain things, details.... but you KNOW you found a gem?!? That's how I feel about Unique Nails & Spa. This salon deserves all the praise and kudos, but I am just so afraid that it's going to get SO CROWDED that it will be harder to get into than my dentist! But I digress, this salon is really awesome. I had previously been to another salon and would request to be seen by Tina, but then she left! She was kind of enough to keep me in her thoughts and I found her!! Now, this is where my heart is reluctant to share. Tina is the BEST! I know that every time I get to see her, I will get the best massage, the funniest conversation and an amazing pedicure and eyebrow waxing. She remembers me, my husband and little things about my life. I know things about her, too. She's friendly and makes the time fly by (altho, her massage has been known to make me drift off now and again). Oops. :) As far as the salon itself - it's really COZY and zen. I think they have, out of all the salons I've been to in So Cal, the best spa chairs I've used. I didn't even crack my kindle while I was there last. I stared at the water wall and talked to Tina. First off, the nice lady that did my pedicure did suchhhh a good job. I wish I knew her name to give her credit. Was very patient, and was very detailed with cleaning my feet and painting the nails nicely. Unfortunately, this place is still not a good place to go. I went to go get my nails (hands) done for my wedding and the lady (Jackie) that did my acrylic nails cut THREE of my fingers. She kept burning my skin and rushing. My ring finger had the ugliest cut that made my finger swell and get infected. I got all emotional because my sister had to call her out and ask her to be more gentle. I was so embarrassed because I'm not the type to complain, but the lady did a terrible job. The glue also got stop to my skin (for majority of my fingers) and she didn't clean under the nails to make them smooth. The lady was just in a rush to finish my nails rather than actually delivering quality work. NEVER coming here again. read more

My mom and i have been going to unique nails and spa for almost a year, my moms also in a wheel chair with paralysis on her left side. My mom and i are so grateful for jackie and the other ladies who go above and beyond to insure us we are going to be taken care of. The handicap bathroom is perfect for others with wheelchairs. I was so excited to find an open nail salon close by to me as my usual salon has been closed. They were able to make an appointment for me right away, which was awesome! I went in for a dip manicure, and showed a picture to the nail tech. It was a dip ombré, and she was very insistent that I get the acrylic overlay done instead as it would be stronger for my nails. I went ahead with her advice, and every single nail is already lifting! :( I had this service done 4 days ago, and they're all about to pop off. On top of that, it was $70 for this service which included removal of my previous dip polish, no manicure, and the acrylic service. I had high hopes with the great reviews, I'm extremely disappointed. read more

They rushed through my boyfriends pedicure because someone else came in and then they wouldn't even let him sit next to me while I finished mine. I've been to plenty of nail salons and that has never been an issue. It's a shame because I thought I had found a great nail salon but now I won't ever be back! read more

So i came in with my sister around 11am to get the hack job another salon did fixed, we were told to come back in 15, so we walked over to fraziers and grabbed a smoothie. We returned and were seated, the lady started on my sister and myself, and told me she had called someone to come in to help me. They had 2 women there working and apparently everyone else was on vacation....? Anyways, this was maybe around 1130, she said theyd be in soon, 12 rolls around and no one....mind you iam sitting with foil on my nails this whole time. 12:30 rolls around and she calls her person Again, says 10 minutes....12:55 comes up and she calls her again and says nevermind shell do mine when shes finished. I sat for over an hour with acetone and foil on my hands, at one point i told her my hands were tingling. She was VERY VERY apologetic, and while i totally get being overwhelmed, i was slightly upset. My nails look great, and i do feel for the poor technician who had to keep telling me she was sorry, it was not her fault by any means. So im giving 3 stars, i hope to come back and be seen in a timely manner and will up my review. So far this place knocks out other salons just in general appearance inside. So nice. Just wish i hadn't sat there for almost 2 hours just for a gel manicure. read more

Probably one of the best experiences I've had in a nail salon. Jackie and Snow were able to squeeze my mom, sister and me in for mani/pedis on a busy Saturday afternoon. They were not only both friendly and attentive but also did some amazing work with our nails. My dip powder mani from by Jackie has lasted 3 solid weeks, and they looked phenomenal! (I'll update with a picture of my next one) Also, an added bonus: Jackie does great eyebrow waxing/shaping! Thank you two for a great time, we are all definitely coming back! read more

Great service, right on point on price and I was able to just be attended as a walk-in. My nails looked nice for a month. I really enjoyed my massage chair and my 45min break. I had a nice conversation. The place was clean and I received thin Flipflops - that was really sweet and nice! read more

The amenities were decent with a Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, desk area, loveseat and king bed. Would have been nice to have a robe. Nice balcony, and actually saw a hot air balloon land in the nearby parking lot! Pool area was decent with lots of lounge chairs and a few cabanas. They do have room service, plenty of parking, on-site spa (did not try), and a wine tasting room (did not try) near the restaurant ... separated from the hotel. The decor in the lobby area is a little dated, but neat and clean -- front desk staff were very friendly.

Without hesitation the manager informed the employee to ring up my photo at have price and on top of that printed out a $10 off coupon (had to purchase something $10 or greater, which was fine since I needed to get a card). So I basically got the photo free. They showed me the app that they use for the passport photo before printing it out and handing it to the customer. They follow the guidlines. I didn't find anything wrong with the first passport photo. Crossing my finger that this photo will suffice. Check-in is simple, and when timing works out, I'm generally in and out without any hassle. A few helpful tips for first-time visitors..... -Bring your photo ID and insurance card. -If you have a lab requisition from your physician, bring it with you. -If your provider submitted the order electronically, they can typically pull it up in their system. I've never had any issues receiving my lab results, and the staff have always been professional and courteous. My only suggestion would be to consider accommodating patients who have already checked in before the cutoff time, especially those who arrive before the 15-minute mark leading up to closing. It can be disappointing to complete the check-in process only to learn there isn't enough time to be seen. Overall, this is still one of my preferred locations for lab work because of the friendly staff and efficient service. If you're in the area and need labs done, just plan to arrive early and you should have a smooth experience. As always, you can thank me later!

Just came back from HI, I try to do my nail at this store. Everyone is very friendly. Ivy did Pink and White and Tina did my toes. They were sweet and friendly. Both of them were new employee here. Today, I called again specifically requesting Tara, and once again I was told that she does not do gel manicures and that if I wanted that service, I would need to book with someone else. I completely understand if the nail technician I want is unavailable at the time or on the day I'm requesting. That is not the issue. The problem is receiving conflicting information and feeling like my request for a specific technician is repeatedly being disregarded. This has happened before as well. I once requested a pedicure with Tara and was booked with someone else instead. The receptionist has also been rude, confused appointment times, and then blamed the clients for the confusion. It's extremely frustrating because when you find a nail technician whose work you love, you naturally want to continue booking with that person. Instead of simply being honest about Tara's availability, I have repeatedly been given inconsistent information or booked with someone else. Tara is wonderful and does excellent work. My review is not a reflection of her service at all. Unfortunately, the way appointments are handled at the front desk has made me no longer want to return to this salon
