Love that they take walk ins! I came right after work and had a few broken nails so my fingers were sensitive to begin with and i decided last minute to get a pedicure as well. I was out of there almost less than an hour which was really nice and really good prices! Would be back :)

I came into this salon today to get a full set with powder, an eyebrow and lip wax. I got the pleasure of having these services done by Jackie! She was so kind, easy to talk to and she did an incredible job! I asked for very short almond nails with a neutral color with a hint of pink undertone. My eyebrows and lip wax also came out great. I highly recommend this clean and calming salon and I couldn't recommend Jackie enough! I will be back to see her :) Thank you!

They will tell you the nails will last for 6 weeks, but mine barely lasted a week and a half. The edges chipped, and the nail extensions started lifting from the nail, too. I called and asked if they could fix it, and I made an appointment. However, when I arrived they told me I had called the wrong number for their other location. I attached a screenshot of my call, and fixed their number on Apple Maps for them. I'm a pretty understanding person, but it was a rough greeting. I was only taken in because another client encouraged it.

I was a walk in and did not have an appointment. Staff was nice. I got a mani and pedicure. No gel. I got the lowest spa pedicure (40) and my total for mani-pedi was $61 (1 for using card). They don't seem to be the most hygienic place I've been too. The towels used were worn down, didn't see new packs of tools opened for each customer, I think they reused the same tools like buffers and nail files on multiple customers... also the licensing paper on their wall said only valid until 2018? It was an okay experience. They were fast and seem like an efficient team. But it's not super relaxing in side. Lots of talking and it's a busy place on a Friday. This was a spur of a moment walk in. With wait time and total time for service, it was a total of 1 hour. Seemed/felt really fast/rushed and not so relaxing. Maybe they're better if you make an appointment and/or not go on a Friday? Another thing, I always tip $10 to each technician that works on me wherever I go. And this place was adamant that tip is only cash. They wanted me to use their ATM, when I explained its either tip on the card or no tip (theres no sign anywhere about tips only being in Cash that I saw) then the technician relented and said I can put tip on my card. Overall.. idk. 3 stars. Not great. Not horrible. But I had some concerns. So for a total of $81 with tip, it was ok, but I've been to nicer places and probably won't return. Again nails weren't bad. Just wasn't as relaxing as I hoped, felt rushed, and with the way I tip, I've been to other places in North County that are more relaxful and luxurious.

Next day 3 chipped nails and nail beds swollen and sensitive from harsh cuticle over trim

Rude & discriminatory. Insisted on running my card before they got started. Jackie also said a comment, "what if we finish and we try to charge you and it doesn't work?" Requested that I go to Frazier Farms to get cash back even after i confirmed that it was a Mastercard I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and stayed to get my nails done. She made one of my fingers bleed. Then asked me to pay before I had my set finished. Guess last time I came in for only polish & left a $15 tip wasn't enough. would not recommend to come here. read more

This was my first time at this salon and it was a really great experience! I was welcomed in and everyone was very friendly. I called ahead of time and there was no wait. Snow did my acrylic gel nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she was able to perfectly execute what I asked for. She really took her time to make sure they were perfect, she paid so much attention to detail and I felt like I could trust her to do a great job. Definitely want to return back again! read more

** update ** 1/12 I got a dip power manicure this time & am IN LOVE!! Jackie paid close attention to every detail & made sure to triple check that the shape was uniform. I chose a very pale translucent pink and I love the natural look. Can't wait to see how these compare to gels but this may be my favorite manicure ever. Jackie & the owner Snow are super fun and made the experience light and fun. Happy to have finally found a salon I want to come back to!! Xox read more

Jackie is the absolute best! When I first went in, I was getting the dip powder on my nails and she recommended a different way that would make my nails stronger and able to withstand playing softball (still using the dip powder, just with a brush!). The other women working there are all great with pedicures as well! Everyone is super friendly and they welcome you in with great customer service. I will continue going back every couple of weeks! read more

I absolutely love this nail salon! I come here every 3 weeks for a gel manicure and spa pedicure with Kathy and Hanna - the dream team! They always take such good care of me :) they do a fantastic, detailed job and I always leave happy and pampered. I drive 30 mins out of my way to come here! That's how great they are. It's not easy finding a nail salon that consistently executes perfect work - but I finally found it with Kathy and Hanna. Thank you ladies read more

My go to nail salon! Suki gives the best pedicures. I had an ingrown toenail for several months that was causing a decent amount of pain and scheduled a podiatry appointment 1 month out. After my pedicure with Suki, the pain was gone and I've not had an ingrown since. Ryan also does a wonderful job with manicures. His attention to detail with my acrylics was appreciated. Lastly, Jackie ensures your appointment time is honored. Walk ins are welcome but they are great at being fair in balancing walk ins with pre-scheduled appointments. read more

I usually have a great experience. Jackie is my favorite go to person for my nails but the other girls ale good too. Except for Saturday, I got a new lady, she did a horrible job, I had to keep telling her to what to do, she didn't cut my cuticles, my nails are different shapes. Just not good at all. It was a lady that was wearing a wig. I probably won't go there anymore. I'm giving it 3 starts for the past good experiences. read more

Came here for the first time to get a manicure and gel done a few days ago. The ladies at the shop were all very kind and engaged in conversation, but sadly I won't be going back. Their quality of nail polish wasn't good and not sure if it was the way my nail lady applied the gel too. You can see the brush lines on ALL of my nails, my nails have different tone (some dark some light), and literally just after 3 hours of getting my nails done, the nail polish was already peeling off. I have never been to a nail shop and just hours after have this happen. read more

So you know how you can stumble on some shop/cafe/mechanic that you've never heard of before and you fall in LOVE with it. So, you start talking about it your mom because mom knows everything. However you leave out certain things, details.... but you KNOW you found a gem?!? That's how I feel about Unique Nails & Spa. This salon deserves all the praise and kudos, but I am just so afraid that it's going to get SO CROWDED that it will be harder to get into than my dentist! But I digress, this salon is really awesome. I had previously been to another salon and would request to be seen by Tina, but then she left! She was kind of enough to keep me in her thoughts and I found her!! Now, this is where my heart is reluctant to share. Tina is the BEST! I know that every time I get to see her, I will get the best massage, the funniest conversation and an amazing pedicure and eyebrow waxing. She remembers me, my husband and little things about my life. I know things about her, too. She's friendly and makes the time fly by (altho, her massage has been known to make me drift off now and again). Oops. :) As far as the salon itself - it's really COZY and zen. I think they have, out of all the salons I've been to in So Cal, the best spa chairs I've used. I didn't even crack my kindle while I was there last. I stared at the water wall and talked to Tina. First off, the nice lady that did my pedicure did suchhhh a good job. I wish I knew her name to give her credit. Was very patient, and was very detailed with cleaning my feet and painting the nails nicely. Unfortunately, this place is still not a good place to go. I went to go get my nails (hands) done for my wedding and the lady (Jackie) that did my acrylic nails cut THREE of my fingers. She kept burning my skin and rushing. My ring finger had the ugliest cut that made my finger swell and get infected. I got all emotional because my sister had to call her out and ask her to be more gentle. I was so embarrassed because I'm not the type to complain, but the lady did a terrible job. The glue also got stop to my skin (for majority of my fingers) and she didn't clean under the nails to make them smooth. The lady was just in a rush to finish my nails rather than actually delivering quality work. NEVER coming here again. read more

My mom and i have been going to unique nails and spa for almost a year, my moms also in a wheel chair with paralysis on her left side. My mom and i are so grateful for jackie and the other ladies who go above and beyond to insure us we are going to be taken care of. The handicap bathroom is perfect for others with wheelchairs. Had a really good experience today at Unique nails! Came in with a large group, we made a reservation and had 0 wait time which was really nice. The nail tech who did my nails was amazing and so so detail oriented which I really appreciated! Such a clean appearance and extremely friendly staff, will definitely be coming back! My only negative was that some of the other girls in our group felt a bit rushed and had their pedicures done in about half the time the rest of us did but my experience was amazing! read more

I go to this salon every time I get my nails done! Tons of gel polish choices, deluxe pedicures, but the staff are so fun, funny, and welcoming . It definitely has a great vibe and clean! I was so excited to find an open nail salon close by to me as my usual salon has been closed. They were able to make an appointment for me right away, which was awesome! I went in for a dip manicure, and showed a picture to the nail tech. It was a dip ombré, and she was very insistent that I get the acrylic overlay done instead as it would be stronger for my nails. I went ahead with her advice, and every single nail is already lifting! :( I had this service done 4 days ago, and they're all about to pop off. On top of that, it was $70 for this service which included removal of my previous dip polish, no manicure, and the acrylic service. I had high hopes with the great reviews, I'm extremely disappointed. read more

They rushed through my boyfriends pedicure because someone else came in and then they wouldn't even let him sit next to me while I finished mine. I've been to plenty of nail salons and that has never been an issue. It's a shame because I thought I had found a great nail salon but now I won't ever be back! read more

So i came in with my sister around 11am to get the hack job another salon did fixed, we were told to come back in 15, so we walked over to fraziers and grabbed a smoothie. We returned and were seated, the lady started on my sister and myself, and told me she had called someone to come in to help me. They had 2 women there working and apparently everyone else was on vacation....? Anyways, this was maybe around 1130, she said theyd be in soon, 12 rolls around and no one....mind you iam sitting with foil on my nails this whole time. 12:30 rolls around and she calls her person Again, says 10 minutes....12:55 comes up and she calls her again and says nevermind shell do mine when shes finished. I sat for over an hour with acetone and foil on my hands, at one point i told her my hands were tingling. She was VERY VERY apologetic, and while i totally get being overwhelmed, i was slightly upset. My nails look great, and i do feel for the poor technician who had to keep telling me she was sorry, it was not her fault by any means. So im giving 3 stars, i hope to come back and be seen in a timely manner and will up my review. So far this place knocks out other salons just in general appearance inside. So nice. Just wish i hadn't sat there for almost 2 hours just for a gel manicure. read more

Probably one of the best experiences I've had in a nail salon. Jackie and Snow were able to squeeze my mom, sister and me in for mani/pedis on a busy Saturday afternoon. They were not only both friendly and attentive but also did some amazing work with our nails. My dip powder mani from by Jackie has lasted 3 solid weeks, and they looked phenomenal! (I'll update with a picture of my next one) Also, an added bonus: Jackie does great eyebrow waxing/shaping! Thank you two for a great time, we are all definitely coming back! read more

Great service, right on point on price and I was able to just be attended as a walk-in. My nails looked nice for a month. I really enjoyed my massage chair and my 45min break. I had a nice conversation. The place was clean and I received thin Flipflops - that was really sweet and nice! read more

Kathy is AMAZING at the deluxe spa pedi! She's so sweet and great at what she does. Her massage is slower and she takes her time, doesn't right through it like some other salons. She's great with color too! She is very neat and my toes are about as perfect as they could be. I even messed my big toe up while I was drying and she fixed it without giving it a second thought! Always easy to get a treatment on a whim here. Staff is great, though I got dip powder last time and she denied my request to NOT file down my nail surface (not edge) which I believe thins my nails out even more. Not impressed with that and just 8 days after my treatment edges are wearing. read more

Horrible service!everything felt super rushed, the nail lady Mandy did my nails and she was filing way too fast, leaving me burns, she filed all my nails unevenly, some were longer then others and some were sharper then others, she even criticized the size of my thumb, how unprofessional is that?Tina did my toes and again, was very rushed, she scrubbed my feet way too rough leavinging me scratches and burns. She left my toes uneven after filing/cutting them. In my opinion they are way over priced, especially for the type of service they give. $47 for pink&white powder?!That's crazy to me! I do not recommend you making any appointment here, you will be unsatisfied and you will leave with burns and scratches. read more

Even on a nice Saturday afternoon during brunch hours, it wasn't too crowded or busy at all. We mostly stayed in the tasting room then went in the member's lounge for bit before taking a walk outside. It's pretty spacious, attracting more of a mature older crowd, if that's your thing. The staff we encountered were all enthusiastic. They even had a taco guy there near the member's lounge which was great- they had a mushroom taco for my veggie people and a cheese quesadilla for the vegetarians. While I had a good time, I'm not sure I'd ever come back here. It wasn't bad, just nothing compelling me to come back-especially since I'm not a drinker, just came to explore with some friends. I'm particularly looking for the winery with the best brunch menu and an interesting crowd of people, which I didn't find here. If you enjoy wine, good scenery and a somewhat lokey spot where you can get out, yet, still have some space to yourself and escape the crowds, this is probably the winery for you.

Just came back from HI, I try to do my nail at this store. Everyone is very friendly. Ivy did Pink and White and Tina did my toes. They were sweet and friendly. Both of them were new employee here. They did awesome jobs. I feel so sorry when I her their story about their previous workplace. Why did they left? I am also happy for them here. Absolutely come back again in two weeks. This is one of the best nail salon around! Jackie shapes my nails perfectly (and I'm fussy!) every time... Even when I abuse the heck out of my hands.
