This salon came highly recommended so I had to go check them out. I decided to get dip color on my finger nails and also get a pedicure. I didn't take a picture of the nail color selection but it is absolutely elaborate! Next time I'll need to spend more time looking because I always gravitate to the same colors but there were so many beautiful choices. I was helped right away, no wait. I decided on the pumpkin pedicure and it was absolutely amazing. Theresa did a magnificent job on my manicure and Van was a doll to talk to and she had my feel feeling like they were in a spa session for celebrities. From the scrub with orange, to the very relaxing massage to the paraffin to make my feet softer- I was on cloud 9. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. It was early am so when they offered me a beverage, I asked for a water. I will definitely return! read more

I requested the Pedicure of the Month, but the technician insisted I had asked for the basic "Uniq Pedicure," even though I've never ordered that during any of my previous visits. I specifically wanted the pedicure that includes the paraffin wax. When I brought it to the technician's attention, another employee came over visibly frustrated, huffing and puffing, and told me the paraffin wax would cost an additional $15. The issue wasn't the extra charge--it was the poor communication and unprofessional attitude. The technician also told me I had an ingrown toenail and, without asking for my permission, cut my toenail vertically all the way down toward the cuticle. Ironically, that is what caused it to become painful. I explained that my toe wasn't hurting and that if I ever suspected an ingrown toenail, I would see a podiatrist rather than have it treated without my consent. A simple apology for the miscommunication and an effort to make it right--whether by honoring the service that was requested or offering a small discount on a future visit--would have gone a long way. Instead, I felt like I was being treated as though I was trying to get something for free. Unfortunately, the customer service has declined, and because of this experience, I won't be returning. read more

Trifling and lazy. Told me they had too many customers and could not take me. How about you get more workers. I came in to have polish removed for a surgery I was having the next day. They replied they were booked up with appointments, etc. and have too many customers and don't think they could service me. I came in at 5:45 pm. They are open until 7:00 pm. That's not close to their closing time. If they were too busy they should have posted that information on the door so, I wouldn't have wasted my time even going in their establishment. Or, lock your door if you don't intend to service any additional customers. To say you were full sounds like an excuse because you want to get out at or around closing time. A good business would service all their customers. Appointments and walk-ins. This happened today and I didn't even leave my name, yet they know the situation because they responded immediately to my review. I will NEVER use their business again. I will continue to go to POSH NAILS on South Peoria in the Brookside area. They don't have an issue with making money. Piss poor service. Terrible service. read more

This salon is amazing! after going to another salon as a new resident of Tulsa, I was incredibly disappointed....but then I found UNIQ! What a game changer. The salon is clean, the prices are great, and if you need nail design this is THE spot to go! Tosha is especially talented!!! I think the only thing that I don't like is that there is not one complementary beverage with service. Also, it would be nice if they kept a log of what colors/designs customers do each time. I know this is very specific, but my last nail salon did this and it was just amazing for regulars! Anyways that personal preference aside, if you want a clean/beautiful, fairly priced nail salon with actual nail artists. Look no further! read more

the shop is new, therefore, it is still squeaky clean. upon arrival, the open sign in the door was crooked and i realized parking was extremely limited. there are four spots directly in front, so keep that in mind as downtown parking is never the easiest or most convenient. the techs were a little late getting to me despite having made an appointment. this isn't a major red flag, just something to note if you're in a rush. the service i received was great! i did think they rushed my niece's set, however. we chose this shop specifically because i read the reviews and thought it would be a little more thoughtful for us both. oh well. my biggest complaint though is that the staff seemed extremely interested in both of us as they couldn't stop staring and talking about us (?) and at one point it was 3 additional staff members standing up, staring at us plus our two nail techs. very odd? didn't appreciate it whatsoever. i tip very well, but i don't assume the conversation around me concluded that, hence the staring/comments. if they would work on their professional demeanor, this place could be great! read more
