Best pedicure I've had! I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Broken Arrow.

So...went to Sky Nails on Elm today for a pedicure. I will probably not go back. The price was decent for the one I chose that included parafin, but she spent more time on my legs than my feet. Isn't the whole point of a pedicure the feet? Didnt really even clean up the cuticles or shape the nail. She just cut them and didn't file them. The polish job not the best either. The main reason I will not go back is because the tools that were used on my feet were not taken out of a sterile bag. Makes you wonder if the tools are cleaned/sanitized between each customer. Just reviewing in case others are looking for a pedicure spot like me. read more

Poor quality. Seems they are more about money than quality & customer service. I've gone here for almost five years, always make appointments as I live with a very hectic and scheduled life. They don't honor your appointment, I've had appointments for a mani/pedi with a particular person who would take walk-in set if gel tips just as the person doing my pedi was putting on the last coat of polish, I then waited for an hour before being seated with another person who absolutley runied my nails upon sanding off the schlack polish and four tips I had as my nails had split doing housework just before my appointment and I wanted them uniform with my natural nails. Still, I gave them a few more opportunities, with no better luck. If the walk-in was getting a more expensive service than my scheduled appointment, they were taken before me. I will never return for their non-customer oriented service again! I would find another place like I have if you value quality and good customer service! read more

I usually have good experiences here but I guess today just wasn't my day. I was going in to get nails done for prom and showed them a design I wanted and they said they could do it. The nails didn't turn out anything like the picture. They didn't even clean up around the nails either. I came here to get my nails done before a funeral. I'm from out of town and my sister-in-law is a regular there. I just found this place to be delightful! What was not delightful was the customer who was on speakerphone telling all the business of her wretched family, but that's not the fault of the nail shop. I'm sad to write this bad review. I've been going to Sky Nails for 3 years and never wanted to go anywhere else. However, the last 5 or 6 times with or without an appointment I waited over 30 minutes to get my nails done. The nails are always perfect but the wait time is awful! On Friday afternoon last week, I waited 45 minutes, just as I was going to leave Brian called me over. I did not want Brian. He always overcharges and he is rude. After making me wait 45 minutes he announced that my fill would be $45! That's full price for a new full set, not a fill!! I decided right then I am finding a new salon. Sadly because other then Brian, I like everyone else. And the prices keep going up and up. I get the pink and white french nails and Ive been told no one likes to do those anymore since the dip has gotten popular. Im a bodybuilder and the dip is too weak for me. And I dont care if they dont like doing the pink and white. Im a paying customer! read more

Me and my mom went here for the first time. I got an acrylic set and my mom got her first pedicure and a french manicure. My mom has neuropathy in her feet and the lady did my mom's pedicure (not sure what her name is) made sure to take extra special care of her feet. Jason did her nails and did a wonderful job. I'm new to the Broken Arrow area....so since I haven't had my nails done in a LONG time I went to Yelp to find a decent (yet inexpensive) nail salon and the first to pop up was Sky Nails! Giving the fact that it was a new place for me, I was a little skeptical about going, but I am so happy I did! I went in on a Saturday around 1:45-2pm and when I walked in my first thought was "oh my word, this is going to take forever and a day to get done" but thankfully I didn't have to wait even 20 minutes before Jason, my nail tech, called me back! I chose to do the dip powder since it's a favorite of mine and it's fairly quick and easy. I was no joke sitting in that chair for not even 30 minutes and I was done! Went there today because the good reviews. Sorry not impressed. I got there at 10:30 in the morning and there was only one other person there which was nice because it wasn't a packed house. But the girl I had couldn't speak English at all. She was a little rough on the toenails and then they use this poker thing to poke my feet. Not sure what that was about. I ask her what that was for and of course she didn't understand a word I said so I didn't get an answer. I brought my flip-flops and she help with them on but by the time I got home I had already smudged my big toe polish off. You get what you pay for. read more

I came here to get a mani/pedi before a wedding. I was in a hurry because I had my 14 month old along with me. They put me with someone who had no clue what she was doing. A lady kept coming up behind her and telling her what to do. I had wax leftover on my legs when I got home and my polish came off of two toes the next day after wearing shoes once, completely came off, in one solid chunk! It didn't even last for the wedding. I was miserable with my baby in my lap for TWO HOURS! TWO HOURS for a pedicure and I didn't even have time to do my nails, nor did I want to after that experience. I arrived at 4pm and left a little after 6. They gave me a $5 "discount". I was already having a bad day... this topped it off and I was so upset that I cried on my way home, I've never had that bad of an experience at a nail salon! read more

Small place, rarely busy, but they do quality work. My shellacs always last 2 weeks or more and look good. Free drinks with services. Always friendly, small staff so they get to know their regulars. Nice hours too, open until 7 so easy to go after work. read more

I've come here a few times and for the most part I'd always been really happy with service and pretty happy with my results. Unfortunately the last time I went I wasn't especially happy with either. I treated my mother-in-law and friend to a full set and a pedicure for Mother's Day and I planned on getting chrome nails on my toes and fingers. At first I was quoted that chrome nails would be an extra $5. Sure, no problem. It ended up taking a while because my tech was having some issues with the chrome powder sticking to the polish. Not a huge issues because we weren't in a rush at all, but at the end of it, it was really lack-luster. It didn't have that super reflecting chrome look. It looks like a regular shimmery nail polish. PLUS she got the chrome powder all over my skin, which she dismissed by saying "don't worry about it, it comes off in the shower." Side note-it doesn't; it stayed on my skin for days. So instead of getting chrome on my nails, I opted for a dip powder on fingers. The guy I went to is probably the reason I won't go back. He was rude and short with me overall and was super fidgety. He kept checking with me over the shape and towards the end he showed me again without a topcoat. I thought he was showing me because he was done, so I said "perfect, I love it, but can I have a topcoat?" He makes angry, impatient gestures at the topcoat on the table and then proceeds to do a hasty job painting them. I apologized for the confusion just in case. Later he got really short with me about who was paying for all of the services and rang me up. It turned out that he had worked on my mother-in-law before me while I was getting my pedicure done and had done such a bad job on her nails that she needed to sit with Tabitha to get them re-shaped (and today, about a week later, she's getting them fixed AGAIN because her nails are lifting). PLUS, at the end of it all I was charged an extra $25(!!!) for the chrome nails. Everything ended up being close to $300 and I can't say it was really worth it. Overall, there are some techs there who are AMAZING!! So sweet and warm and they make you feel at home because even though I've only been a handful of times, they remember me every time. Tabitha is the QUEEN of coffin tips and I love love love her work!! As long as I can get a pedi and a set with my favorite girls, the place is definitely worth it, but make sure you know who you're going to. read more

Came in to friendly faces who were offering beverages and water and waited only about 4 minutes before getting one of the best full set aryillics I've EVER gotten. Sadly I'm from Colorado or else this would be my new favorite place. Almost every other customer there it seemed was a regular, all the employees were upbeat fun and chatty with the customers. The solar powder also made the whole process about 15 minutes quicker than I'm used to, I've never seen it before but I loooove it. Always good job here. I use Brian for nails, Jason for pedicure. Sandra and Kevin owners and keep place neat and very clean. Cleanliness is an issue at many nail salons I've been to, it is not an issue here. I have been other places where they do not have skilled nail techs, I have had my nails done here when Brian was out by several of the other techs and they were still done well.
