My sister went here October14, 2021 around 2-3 PM and her nails look so ugly after. My sister said she tried to make suggestions to make it look better but the woman didn't consider. My sister's nails look NOTHING like the reference photo. The acrylic is thick, the shape isn't square, the french tip isn't ombre nor is the set even. Came in for my daughter. We showed her a picture of what we wanted. She said she could do it! $85 later this was the result. (Pictures attached) the nails were large uneven the shellac was bumpy and the look was not like the picture. Both my daughter and I expressed concern WHILE she was doing the nails I was told it would look fine at the end my daughter was told to "let her do her job" I explained that my daughter really didn't like it and wanted them off she told me it was because her hands were fat and nails were curved (both make no sense as she has gotten a cohesive full set before with no issue) when I explained she had gotten a set like the one we asked for she told me to GO BACK TO THAT SALON AND NOT TO COME HERE I am a frequent flyer at this nail salon and I'm sooo disappointed at the lack of accountability and disrespect. The owner is very non professional! Does not want to make nails right once they have been messed up. I tried to explain to her the problem with my nails and she wouldn't listen. Continue to tell me that there was no problem. I called ahead of time before I came in and was told that it wouldn't be a problem but then when I came in I was told that it would be a 45 minute to an hour wait. Update 8/11/14 By the next day, my manicure started to look cracked. I decided to let it go since I didn't have the time to get it fixed. By the day after, the polish was cracking and peeling off every nail. Since I think a manicure needs to last longer than 2 days, I went back. As the technician/manager was fixing my nails, she verbalized the following: why didn't you come in sooner, do you work with chemicals, and we don't guarantee our work unless it is shellac. I indicated that I noticed air bubbles starting from that first day and I had the pictures I posted on Yelp to prove it. It was silence from her after that. Sat with my nails in the dryer, and when I pulled them out, there were air bubbles on every single nail. This was a concern because this is probably what caused the polish to crack and peel. At first she pretended not to see them, but when her fellow employees confirmed that they indeed saw them too, she got very defensive. She told me, "It must be your nails." I told her that I'd had many manicures in my life time and none with any weird bubbling or discoloration. She said, "That's how we do it here and I've never had any complaints. You should try shellac." By this point, I was dying from holding back laughter and started to giggle. Every time she tried to up-sell me on shellac it was more and more to keep a straight face. They probably thought I was insane. This was too much like Anjelah Johnson's "nail lady" stand up comedy act (Google it, you won't be disappointed). Needless to say, I won't be back. 8/8/14 Pros: location, it's less than a 3 minutes drive from my home. Price, $30 mani pedi. That's $5 less than other competitors. Walk ins welcome. They accept credit cards. Plenty of parking. My roommate complimented my mani (this never happens so it must be really nice). Cons: They kept trying to sell me on shellac nail polish. Air bubbles on my nails. I'm gonna let it go since they're only visible up close or in certain lights. Due to price and location, I'm gonna go back. read more

I had a great experience at Fancy nails. I called ahead and asked about walk-ins and they told me to come right in. I went around 3 pm on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all, I was seated immediately and didn't have to wait. I got a full set with gel and was very pleased with the results. I was going for a more natural look and they did great making that happen. The man who worked on my nails was so kind and friendly, he did a great job! I would definitely return here next time I need my nails done. As far as COVID precautions, all staff were wearing masks and there were plastic barriers between us at the nail stations. read more

RUDE! Very unprofessional! UNSANITIZED! They post a "special" pedicure price THEN they try to add on - and act like they don't understand the ENGLISH "no"! (especially true with the older lady) The old man is so hateful! Especially when he has to work instead of entertaining his grand children! and OMG ... he might have to move a sleeping child out of a chair in order to accommodate a paying customer! He is very rough when he does a pedicure. I've often thought he intentionally tries to inflict pain! I and my daughter had visited this place many times for manicures & pedicures (it's close to my home). Each time I had to stand firm on the service I/we wanted (as I didn't want a arm massage or whatever else they try to add on). I had several infections on both big toes from their unsanitized tools! UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. Came in for a full set and the man who did my nails was kind and fast. I asked to get a brow wax and the woman who's sits at desk #1 his sister asked me to step to the back. I told her how I like my brows. Shortly after using CLOTH to rip the wax off she immediately said she was finished. I asked if her if she could clean it up a little more and she replied "that's not what you asked for". I say back down and she started to tweeze my brows. When I took a look again she had completely left bald spots and even stated to me "I left one brow larger than the other". When I asked her finally can she fix it again she grabbed SCISSORS and cut the top off my brows off! I told her I didn't like my eyebrows and she said with attitude "well maybe next time". It wasn't the attitude I had a issue with she grabbed me by my chin and snatched my face after I said I didn't care for my brows. After she tried to grab my fave again o moved away and she turned around and walked off. I was taking a seat to get my pedicure and the man that did my nails said he refused to do my feet since I didn't like my brows. She then loudly went over to her other client and was speaking about me.. I told him a like his work and would still like the pedicure from HIM! He still refused and charged me. Stopped in for a pedicure and I was glad I did! The workers are very nice and helpful. The foot/leg massage was awwwwwesome - felt so good!! They use plastic baggies in the foot bath so you are never sharing the same bath with other feet. They did a fabulous job and I look forward to coming back!! read more
