So.. I usually don't cheat on my nail lady and yesterday reminded me why. I asked for a refill the first guy doing my nails huffed and puffed that i asked him to soak off my nails instead of rip them off. Then when I asked him not to bufff so hard and add take down my nail bed since I already have thin beds and can burn really bad if they do. So then he got up and refused to do my nails so when the manager so whoever came to do my nails I asked him to take them off but ended up just shutting down and have half nails on decided to stay. But when he asked me about the color I couldn't even say no or fight it because I shut down. So here we are and don't have time to get a nail change till Monday!!! read more

Very awkward place to be! When you arrive you have a great attitude, ready to relax and enjoy the atmosphere but the staff are not great conversationalist, possibly a language barrier. Came here on a whim & can confirm other reviews. The place is clean and has a wide selection of nail colors. Although the place was busy the staff were very kind and friendly. I also appreciated instead of just making us wait in the waiting area, they let us soak our feet while they were finishing up with other clients. This place was just okay. They told me they were charging me for a fill after another salon did my nails and one broke off after less than a week (acrylic). It cost me $35 for a fill! Pretty expensive, but I'm fine paying for quality work. The gentleman working on my nails was attentive to my nails, but a different nail broke off also after about a week. The interior looks like a lower end nail salon and it smelled like chemicals as soon as you walked in. The two ladies there were regulars and were pampered and asked if they wanted drinks right away, and I was only offered one about halfway through my service. After work, I don't usually have time to make an appointment before most salons close. Glamorous Nails closes at 7. I called 30 minutes before close to ask if I could still stop in. The woman on the phone was so kind and told me to head over. Once I arrived, I was greeted by the entire staff and sat down for my mani. I still had on my old one on, and it was the quickest, cleanest, most painless removal I've ever had for dip nails. I asked if she could also remove my pedi. She was sweet and offered to repaint them as well. They came out looking so clean, it's hard to believe they were done by hand. I wish they had a nail salon as great as this one where I live! read more

I'm not sure why this place is rated so highly. The interior is not nice and is a typical low-end nail salon. I wanted to like this place because of the reviews, but unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. The people were very friendly and they did offer me a drink, so that is why they are getting 2 stars (they really deserve one) 1st - the guy used a dremel to take off my dip nails, which is normally fine... but he didn't just take the first layer off - he got it down to my nail and then soaked the remainder little bit off totally ruining my nails. After he soaked them off he completely filed down my nails so thin that they folded when I touched them - see pictures. I understand this can help them bond better, but I've never had that in the history of getting dip nails and you shouldn't have to do it if you do it right. 2nd - after having a little cup of acetone to soak off my nails he then proceeded to use the squeeze bottle to suck the used of the acetone back into the bottle. Later I watched him use the same bottle for the lady next to me. If that's the case, I know a lot of other things are dirty here as well On the nail file he used he was having a hard time finding a spot that wasn't too worn out to file my nails. 3rd - a week later my nails have completely faded... almost white/nude. See pics. 4th - after soaking off my nails I had residue on my fingers. He never once asked me to wash my hands (they normally do). And put lotion and everything on my hands and had my leave the salon with crusted stuff dried on. I will say my nails did look good when it was finished, but the whole experience and my ruined, flimsy nails were not worth it. Plus the color only lasted a week. I paid $40 dollars, which is the same price as a nice nail salon in the area. Sure they might do cool designs, but my health concerns (cleanliness) are way more important. Save yourself and go try Sweet Mia off of cherry street. They have the BEST pedicures, cutest decor, and it's all natural! read more

Takes appointments when busy, which results in customers with appointments waiting longer than asked. I've been here a few times and this has been a consistent issue. I also asked for an itemized receipt because my price seemed higher than usual and I was not given an itemized receipt. There have also been designs that they cannot do. If you're looking for high quality service, I would not recommend this place. They don't even offer water to all clients. read more

I've been going to this place for the past few months & I love it!! Everyone (Tay, Milan, Tiffany, Maw Kim, Tom) is so friendly & personable & it's small enough & open so you can keep your conversation between you & your tech or talk amongst everyone else or not at all, if you prefer. I have to say that, for me, what raises this place above & beyond all the rest is that they clearly put the customer FIRST! Makes you feel special. There's only one employee that doesn't speak much English but the others help her translate & she tries & is a sweetheart too! This shop actually CHOOSES to interact with their customers, rather than speaking in their own native tongue (which no one else can understand) more often than not, like every other salon I've ever been to in the past. At other salons, I always felt like I was interrupting if I interrupted. Errors were often made, as a result of the tech not paying attention to the customer first! Seemed unprofessional & inappropriate! Refreshing to find a nail salon that puts their customers first for a change. Heck, they've even been teaching me some key words in their language, which I am learning SLOWLY. Lol! They all do great work &, if there ever is a misunderstanding, they've always fixed it (then or another day, depending on how busy they are). When you first walk in you are hit with the smell of stale cigarette smoke and dingy white walls. Since I am visiting town and in a hurry I decided to stay. Choosing a color was hard because they display them on shelves in the window and it's clear years of sun and heat exposure has turned most of them bad. While the nail techs were nice and attentive it was obvious they reused not only their emery boards and tools but also their latex gloves - all without sterilizing between clients. I should have left but didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. My manicure and pedicure look great but I wouldn't go back. read more

This is the only place that I know of in Tulsa where you can get a manicure AND a pedicure for $33.00! Nicki (owner) is very professional, and runs a very good business. She has shiatsu massage chairs for the pedicure stations, and gives very good foot/leg, and hand/arm massages herself. The salon also offers waxing, acrylic nails, and nail art.
