I got a Gel-X set here less than a week ago and unfortunately I'm already having issues. The nails are bending slightly and chipping, which shouldn't happen this quickly with Gel-X. During the service, only the loose cuticle skin was clipped, but the base cuticle wasn't properly prepped, which left a visible gap at the cuticle area. There are also noticeable bumps on my thumbs, so the finish isn't smooth or even. The tech (Taylor) was very nice, but the service felt rushed overall. At checkout, I was offered a small discount, but then felt pressured to leave a Google review on the spot while the supervisor hovered over my shoulder and tapped my phone, which was uncomfortable. The discount was only a few dollars and didn't feel worth the pressure. I wanted to like this place, but for the price ($65 originally), I expected better structure, prep, and professionalism. I hope they slow down services and focus more on quality. read more

I gave it one star because I couldn't do 0. I got a fill for my gel nails. Terrible service. Steph did my nails and she was rude. She was very aggressive with my hands. She wasn't thorough AT ALL. She didn't color match my original gel at all. I had used a nude the first time and she used clear to fill. I showed her an image of what I wanted and it looks nothing like it. She made my finger bleed because the file was so sharp. My cuticles look horrid. She was very messy with the gel and it looks like I have glue all over my cuticles. The shape is horrid. Not symmetrical at all. they charged me $50 and when I complained they gave me a $25 gift coupon that I will never use because I won't be returning. Absolutely terrible. You aren't valued as a customer there, it's a money grab. You're rushed in and then rushed out. Terrible vibe. read more

Mai/May not sure how to spell it. She was very rushed and hurt me multiple times. She couldn't even finish my set before she was on to the next. Left me to dry my own nails and figure out what to do next. She went in for cuticle oil before making me wash my hands? Ive had sets before and you ALWAYS wash your hands before finishing up. I have a pretty deep cut on my finger. I called back same day to inform them, spoke with 2 people. One who rushed me off the phone to someone else without even telling me to hold for a manager. I spoke with Daisy, & she was less than comforting on the fact that I have a deep cut that burns. I told them I was headed for vacay and this was a special treatment, and now I have to be in pain every time I bend my finger. This was my 4th time going, but first time getting a full set. I never had this issue before but upon further reviews I see that it is an issue. Be aware that you will be rushed and treated as a number. OMG! I don't know where to start, but the worst Pedicure ever this weekend. I used to go regular when they first opened but work got so busy, I had not been in a year. The nail tech, "Tom" did not do things in the normal order, did not trim my nails down and even them up, not relaxing at all and to boot on one toe, the polish (gel) peeled and tore my nail that was trimmed crooked. My heels are not smoothed at all! They really needed a lot of attention, now i have to try and do ot myself at home, scaping the dead skin off. Paid over $65 plus tip. Then I was attacked at the door by the owner (a man in a ball cap) and insisted I do 2 reviews on both of his salons...he just took my phone and started punching buttons!!! Who does that? The shop is clean and spacious. The pedicure stations are all clean. This was my first and last visit. My technician literally yanked from the corners of my nail bed and said she pulled out ingrown nail. I've never had a nail technician do that in over 25 years of routine pedicures. It was painful and the adjacent skin bled. You might say I was a wuss, but I'm a 71 year old diabetic and this practice is very risky for infections. The next thing she did was to use the cuticle tool to pierce the water bowl plastic liner to release the water through the drain. That's not a catastrophe except she used that cuticle tool on my nails afterwards. I felt responsible to make this practice known. Beware if you are a diabetic. read more

Don't do it! I went on Saturday with my daughter for a girls day. First time to this salon and LAST. The most unsanitary nail salon I have ever encountered. The lady doing my mani pedi used tools that were not pre packaged (Thus meaning they were not properly sanitized). My daughters lady did. When I asked her about it several times She ignored me as if she didn't understand English. When it came to the manicure, another employee brought something to her and she stopped put it in her hand and examined it closely in the light, I asked her what was that and she said a ingrown toenail!!! And she was going to now touch my hands for a manicure! NOPE! I witnessed 2 employees touching a ingrown toenail pulled from a customer with no gloves. ..... WHY!?!?! When I explained to the receptionist she chatted with the lady and stayed I was not telling the truth. You can't make that up. I will be reporting this! This place needs to be shut down. read more

I used to love Lush Nail Bar when they first opened but the employees quality of service has declined tremendously (minus Melissa she's great). The last couple times that I've visited I've had rush jobs and this nail salon is not cheap whatsoever. I'm not terribly picky when it comes to my nails I get the same thing often either shellac or dip. I recently had to get a full set acrylic because my real nails kept breaking due to them continuously using a drill to remove my shellac/dip which isn't required. I went in today and was notified by the manager that "no one wanted to service me because they can't make me happy" I've never been rude and I've never caused confusion other than asking to have my nails corrected when needed. Needless to say. I will not be back because that was completely unjust and unwarranted and I'm actually quite embarrassed by this interaction today. read more
