Tried calling the shop a couple times today to talk in person but no luck. Was in town visiting my parents from Dallas. Had my nails done on 12/30. Today is 1/4. I wouldn't be so upset or concerned if the main shop owner, Tony, didn't spend the whole hour bragging about his products, tools and how great he is. The other tech next to him would even roll her eyes sometimes. And THEN told me how bad my regular nail lady in Dallas is. My dip nails consistently last 2-3 weeks with no cracks or peels and my nails are always strong and healthy. What he did lasted 4.5 days. And now my nails are broken and flimsy. The other tech seemed nice. If you come here, don't let Tony touch your hands. read more

By far the worst acrylics I've ever had. I've considered writing this review for a while, as I love this place and go here all the time, but they just did so horrible I had to warn others. Normally, a woman who specifically does nail designs does my nails (teresa I believe), and she's wonderful. However, 2 weeks ago she wasn't there, so the only man (to my knowledge) who works there (Tony I think) had to do my nails. Maybe he was having an off day or something, but I am just amazed at how terrible my nails are. In the pictures, you can see he used black colored acrylic powder, instead of using regular powder and painting them (he even told me I wouldn't be able to get different colors if I did the colored powder, even though I never said anything about wanting that.) he missed so many spots off the edges of my fingers with the powder. When it comes to the design on my nail, I couldn't have been more disappointed. For starters, it's terribly messy. On the other hand, he just drew straight lines across my nail instead of trying to make it look like it was connected to the actual circle. To add the cherry on top, all of my nails are no where near the same length. Like, it's bad. (These pictures were taken 2 weeks after I got them done, so they're grown out a little bit, but they've been uneven the entire time) Again, I've had great experiences here with the female worker, Teresa, who does designs, however I would recommend AVOIDING the male worker, Tony. I understand he does not specialize in designs, but he messed up my nails as a whole. read more

My daughter and i went in to get my toes done. My daughter had shellac manicure. The staff was very friendly upon introduction. I like that they have several options for pedicures. I chose the deluxe pedicure because I enjoy the massage and I think I could use extra attention. Her nails came out great. They have a lot of color choices. Yelp offers a 10% off on here. But he said he is not a part of it. He still gave us $5 off anyway not a full 10%. That's why I gave 4 stars. The lady that did my pedicure did an excellent job softening my feet but she went to far to the side and made a sore. I included a photo. It's good and bad because most places don't do a great job of softening feet. But then she wasn't careful enough to not hurt me. Our nails are really great looking so there you have it 4 stars. read more

Came in with my two sisters to all get gel manicures. I needed mine soaked off, so the technician asked me to soak my fingers in straight acetone. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and complied, even though I'd never been asked to put my skin in acetone by a professional before. 15 minutes later, I removed my peeling nails and dried out fingers, to which she insisted I replace them. I should have left then. The polish job was sloppy, and looked nothing like the color on the sample nail. I'm giving two stars because out of the three of us, one sister came out with a solid set of nails. The other two came out looking like I had done them myself. And got bored midway through and stopped caring. Save yourself the frustration, this place isn't even inexpensive. read more

I can't say enough about how great our experience has been. I have 4 daughters, and we have all gotten our nails done several times at Fancy Nails. They go the extra mile to make sure everything is sanitary, that your nails are taken care of and are very careful to make sure you understand what you are paying for. I don't know how many times my daughters have been charged way too much at other places. They came home saying they thought they were getting the most basic package, for example, but had lots of extra charges. Won't happen at Fancy Nails. Also, if you have any special requests like you want your dip done thinner, they will happily do it. read more

I am not one to leave negative reviews, or complain...people try to make a living and I am all about supporting local businesses. However. Major issue with the owner (or so he claimed) "Tony." I went in on a Sunday afternoon and there were only 2 technicians working. I had no appointment so was fully expecting to wait. I waited and finally had someone start my manicure. The whole time he was bragging about how he has the best customers and does the best work with the best equipment. However, the whole time there were only 3 people in the store. Where were all these customers? I left after an hour and a half for a dip manicure and was unsatisfied with the shape and over all work. No cuticle clean up or hand massage, etc. but thought it would grow on me. I received a dip manicure with shellac overlay. I was home not even 2 hours when the shellac started to peal while washing dishes. Over the course of the evening I lost all but 2 nails worth of shellac. I went to work the next day and 4 of the nails that were dipped broke off. At this point in the afternoon I decided I would go back and just ask for my money back. I went in the evening right after work and just asked for a refund. I was told they don't have a refund policy and I wouldn't get my money back. But he could just do it all over. I said "So what happens if this keeps happening? Do you expect me to come back daily and have you fix the work?" There was no real answer and no sympathy. I said no thank you, I just want my money. He never apologized and was very rude. I just find it appalling that he wasn't even willing to discuss a refund and how blatantly rude he was. I also feel as thought if you claim "not to have a return policy," is that because if you didn't you would be out of business due to so many people asking for refunds? Just a thought. read more

Very polite and got to me quickly although they were busy. The pedicure was great although the massage to my feet/legs was very weak. Although no one offered me a drink as it was really hot that day, I found out as I was leaving it was more of a help yourself drink center. Who knew? My newly married daughter and I wanted a little special time together before the chaos of the holidays. When we stopped in here, they told us the wait for us to have manicures/pedicures together would be 10 minutes and that they were calling someone in for extra help. To make a long story short after 40 minutes I was getting antsy and they told me it would be "10 minutes". An hour and a half later, with no apologies, it was our turn ( to sit with feet in H2O for even longer). Needless to say we only had time for one service so my daughter started her pedicure. By the time my person came she was halfway done and I did not have time to do any service. I rationally explained that during this busy time I appreciate honesty on how long it will be. Let's just say I got a lot of attitude back. I will never go back especially because there is one on every corner. I don't mind a wait but please be honest! read more
