I've been coming here for about 2 1/2 months, but I wanted to wait until I had been here a little while before I made a review. Sometimes when I've gone to a nail place they start out really strong and then end up being disappointing after a few visits. But so far so good at Ruby. My nails stay nice for a full two weeks, which is really hard for me because I have oily and flat nail beds. I get a shellac manicure and it stays nice and doesn't chip or lift. Take great care in making sure the polish doesn't look sloppy before they cure it in the light. I've had one pedicure there which I enjoyed a lot. Hot stones. Never had that before. So nice. I used to give your salon an A+++ over the top , exceptional and you all are very nice . But I dissatisfied with your recent services. Every time I come it's busy and you are polite and apologize for the wait . I patiently wait , but my nails are rushed . They are now breaking after 1 week. I have been here forever and over a year. I can happily show you my bank account. It's not the end of the world , but I came to have my cracked and chipped nails fixed as I was told on the phone she would and she told me it's $10. I said ok I understand your policy and I really do but ir chipped the next day again. There is something wrong with this specific nail polish you did and it was very rushed and for what I pay in your salon it wasn't very fair that I had chipped nails the entire time. I'm disappointed as she told me I leave my nails so long but she put false tips on them . I don't leave my nails long and I always say to file them and they aren't getting manicured as I want them and not filed like I want them in a normal natural looking shape . I came here after moving to the south so of town and it is close to my house. This is a small, clean salon. I was a walk-in early in the morning and had about a 30 wait. It was well worth it! My nails are also very thin due to me always going to terrible nail places that drill my nails down so short and thin. and they were very compliant with this and I felt no pain at all. After procuring a sitter for the afternoon, I was excited to go get a pedicure after moving to the area and looking for a new nail salon. They had great reviews and hours that worked with my schedule. Once I arrived, a handwritten sign "Closed for just today" hung on the door. I understand that emergencies certainly happen and tragedies can affect our daily schedules, but I feel this is something that should be posted on a website or Facebook page for patrons who have to schedule such ventures. With business hours posted, it shouldn't be a requirement to call ahead. read more

What else can I say but... I LOVE..LOVE...LOVE THIS PLACE AND THIS FAMILY! My nails have never looked better and I AM A FAN! After being on the North Coast and DC area- I never thought I would find another "home" that did just what I wanted and left feeling like "Yep, they have it!" And they do! I have weak nails and they build them to look absolutely natural with the dip! It is amazing and I leave knowing that I have at least 4 weeks with a set. Nice salon with friendly, good quality service. I'm traveling through town and needed a manicure. I wanted a place that's clean (I'm always fearful of catching fungus one of these days) but don't need luxury services at a premium price. I tried another local place but wasn't impressed. I saw Ruby nails on yelp with good reviews and decided to give it a try. It was great! The location was clean and quiet, they use liners for their pedicure foot baths, the service was very good & they were sensitive to my time (I had to be out by a certain time). I honestly wish I could give more stars! This was my first time at Ruby Nails and I know I will be back!! I went around 10:45 and was able to be seen right then with no appointment needed. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted so friendly and asked if I needed a drink when I sat down. They had SO many gel colors to choose from. I will say, their regular polish colors are a lot of reds and pinks with few of other colors. Their basic spa pedicure honestly felt like it should have been more expensive. They did an exfoliating scrub on top of a hot towel and an incredibly long foot and leg massage. While my nails were finishing up I was also given a neck massage. Im so impressed with the salon cleanliness as well. They had liners in the pedicure tubs and everything came out of sterilized packages. My total for a gel manicure and basic pedicure was $55-so very fairly priced (especially when I feel like there's so much extra given!) l will SO be back and would recommend to anyone! read more
