I have paid $60 for a top of the line and had all the fixins but this was basic and my heels still had rough edges. I want the cheese grater (you know what I mean) and my feet need to feel soft. Most technicians feel your skin after rubbing them with whichever tool but not here. Oh well, I guess I will keep looking. I might go back to the south and pay $35 for a little better service. Sorry but I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and I know good service when I get it. No dry bar or fans to dry nails either. Just sit as long as you want.

I love the atmosphere, so relaxing and like being in a spa. The people are so professional and really good at what they do. I love how the pedicure chairs fully recline-I may have fallen asleep during my last pedicure! Sweet Mia may be a little more expensive than some other local nail salons, but I think it is worth it. What initially drew me to Sweet Mia is their focus on more organic ingredients. Plus they don't use drills on your nails. It's my favorite nail salon!

There are big windows in the front that give an open bright look and the pedicure chairs are comfy. I haven't ever gotten my nails done by the same person twice, this is my go to place when I don't have a lot of time and need shellac removed or a quick manicure. They are friendly but typically it is a quick service with little talking.

I often bring someone with me to treat them and enjoy a few hours of conversation. Tanya is perhaps the worst nail tech I've ever encountered. I've been a licensed nail tech until I left to care for my folks. I see what they do to the customers who pay their bills. If you so much LOOK less than what they believe to be worthy you will be touched roughly.... The pedicure water temperature is too cold or too hot, the too hot towels placed on the legs, no care on how short the nails when cutting them , nipping the toes, not applying the necessary amount of glue, lacking proper hygiene, not preparing the nail plate, weak nail tips, rough sanding, and not under the heat lamp long enough between coats. The list could include some other items to consider. What they charge is another issue! Return for repairs is for you to pay. They have been at that location a while and many have worked for years at that location. It was when I wore boots and a miniskirt they reacted to me. Yet, Tanya, was wearing a miniskirt. Said I was too old. I will never return. I'm sure they have their regulars to get by. Its seems a business would appreciate their customers and what positive reviews. Next time I'll need to spend more time looking because I always gravitate to the same colors but there were so many beautiful choices. I was helped right away, no wait. I decided on the pumpkin pedicure and it was absolutely amazing. Theresa did a magnificent job on my manicure and Van was a doll to talk to and she had my feel feeling like they were in a spa session for celebrities. From the scrub with orange, to the very relaxing massage to the paraffin to make my feet softer- I was on cloud 9. Everyone was super nice and accommodating.
