On two separate occasions, my 81-year-old mother was subjected to disrespectful and inappropriate behavior. The manner in which she was spoken to was unacceptable, particularly given her age, and fell far below any reasonable standard of customer care. Additionally, I found Tonya's interactions with customers of African descent to be deeply concerning, as they appeared dismissive and lacking in basic respect. When I attempted to address these issues directly, Tonya responded with visible anger rather than professionalism or a willingness to resolve the matter. This conduct is unacceptable in any customer service setting. Clients should be treated with dignity, respect, and courtesy at all times. A salon environment, in particular, should provide a welcoming and inclusive space--this was not our experience. I strongly urge management to take these concerns seriously and to implement immediate and meaningful changes. Without accountability, this type of behavior will continue to negatively impact customers.
