I walked in and the space was clean and beautiful and peaceful and very welcoming. I appreciate the vibes that I got right when I walked in. This was my first time getting a head spa treatment and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I did a 75 minute treatment for 100 bucks and this was a wonderful deal that I will be doing again. I had Jennifer S and she was great from the moment I walked in she offered me Vietnamese coffee got my feet soaking and then the whole process was very relaxing and wonderful. I would've liked more of a head massage, but overall the experience was very wonderful. I enjoyed the facial the shoulder massaging everything was so relaxing. I definitely could feel the difference of my scalp and I appreciate that they show you your scalp before and after, and you really could see the difference it made for my scalp. read more

She did a full scalp analysis and then we proceeded to the private, comfortable room. The bed was comfy and supportive. She cleans, scrubbed and washed my scalp wonderfully. My daughter bought me a gift card for a 60 minute Head Spa. I booked it with Haley and was so pleased. As most people I love to have my head and scalp massaged and Haley did and fabulous job. This was by FAR the best pedicure I've EVER had. The atmosphere was so beautiful when I arrived and so peaceful. I loved everything about this place and will definitely be back at least once a month.. hopefully twice. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE. The staff members were all so friendly and welcoming with it being our first time and they really gave us an amazing experience!!!! I fell asleep once and my father-in-law was asleep as soon as the cucumbers hit his eyes. My bestie booked us pedicures here on a Sunday at 4. She was raving about the great service she had gotten here in the past. She was also excited to have found a vegan place for us. We arrived early for our treatment and they were able to accommodate us ahead of schedule. They have a little cafe. We each lavender chai lattes- super yummy, and served extra hot. The owner brought them to us, and offered to take our picture for us. The technicians offered us different aroma therapy treatments in our foot spas soaks. We picked the lavender one. The girls were very efficient. The massage was very soothing, both my friend and I quickly fell asleep. I don't normally fall asleep during a pedicure. I normally go to the places with the massage chairs. This was a nice treat to get a genuine proper massage. The polish was vegan, which we were excited about. However it didn't really last very long, it started chipping much sooner than my normal pedicures normally do. The only thing what wasn't relaxing was that the woman working the cafe was coming in and out sweeping and banging things in the kitchen area. Save your money, this is not the place for you. I was so excited for my head space treat with my sister while visiting the area. We set our appointment at 5 and arrived a few minutes early. We were charged before our service probably because we were in the last set of customers for the day. THANK THE LORD I waited to tip till after the services because I was so unhappy that both my sister and I almost left mid service. 1. Disappointed we were started 40 min late. We were not a last minute booking either, I made the appointment a week before our date of service. 2. The "foot soak" was more like a dip your feet in this luke warm water while we quickly scan your head. 3. THIS WAS THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT: The table we were laid on was so unbelievably uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure it was a chiropractor's table because it had super thin padding. Both my sister and I had a hard time finding a position we could lay in for more than a few minutes before needing to adjust. There was no bolster for under your knees either. I was given a ghetto folded yoga mat and a scrunched up blanket. My sister was given pillows off the couch in the waiting room. My shoulders were cramping the entire time and made it impossible to relax. I sadly left with a sore back when I was not in pain before arriving. 4. What we were anticipating with the head massage to be relaxing, felt messy and chaotic. We both felt like we were being scratched and not massaged. We were both sprayed with what felt like a lot of extra water on our faces and had a tense expression most of the time to keep the product out of our eyes. I kept feeling like I was going to drown and was tense a lot of the time. The water changed from hot to cold to hot and we both had a bit of a headache after we left. 5. Neither of us were fan with whatever skin products they used either. We were never asked if we have sensitive skin, and neither of us do but one of the products made both of our faces burn and itchy. We don't have any breakouts yet or redness, but I wish they would have taken the time to ask us about our skin and hair. I feel like the scalp scan is pointless to be honest since there was no consultation or customization according to what they found. I hate to leave on a bad note so I will honestly share what we did like! Our hair feels so soft and clean. And while it was very brief, the foot massage was good. I enjoyed the head steam personally, it was one of my favorite parts. Overall it just simply could have been so much better. The vibe of the salon was cute but nothing to write home about. Everything seems rushed and unplanned. For what we paid, I hoped for a lot better. read more

My son bought a gift certificate for my daughter and granddaughter to Mon Amie Spa on 11th and when they went to redeem it yesterday, they were publicly humiliated and made to prove that it wasn't stolen before they would provide services. NOBODY else was treated this way and when I called this morning, they admitted it was absolutely a mistake on THEIR part however offering her a bottle of $5 cuticle oil as an "oops" isn't gonna fly. Had a wonderful afternoon getting an aromatherapy manicure at Mon Amie Nails! All of the ladies were so friendly and kind - really getting to know me and asking me questions about my weekend plans, profession, and my interests. I felt so relaxed during the entire experience. The aromatherapy manicure included a hand and neck message, hot stones, essential oils, and a heated neck wrap. There is a cafe located in the spa and they have lots of sweet treats and coffees. I was recommended the Vietnamese coffee with almond milk - it was delicious! You can taste the true coffee bean taste. Next time I come back here, I plan on getting a pedicure and a massage. I am not sure the training these people go through, but seemed like very minimal. It was rushed and not relaxing. I was a walkin and got the aromatherapy pedicure. I was seated immediately and found the exact color I was hoping for. The cafe is under construction, so the ambiance of the business is slightly off, but I think it could be good if construction was completed. My pedicure involved several steps, and I felt that many were rushed. Two employees teamed up to finish the appt, and the neck massage was truly amazing. But the Emory board they used was old and without much grit, so my nails weren't shaped or buffed enough. They barely scrubbed my callouses. Just about 2-3 strokes per area. I think both women had conflicting appts because one woman took over during the polish, and the other rushed out. One of the women was extremely charming, and the neck massage was amazing, so I tipped nicely. But I wish I had gotten a good look at my toes before I paid. The polish was uneven, sloppy, and smeared. The charming woman had left by this point to go to a different appointment, and she left me alone in the shop. I located a woman in a back doing someone's nails, and she offered to redo my polish. I said I would be ok with a partial refund, but she said she wasn't permitted to do that while her managers were gone. So she interrupted her nail appt to repaint my toes. She did a nice job and was very nice, so I'm grateful to her. It feels like the spa could be awesome if they could hire a few more people or try to provide fewer services. read more

Let's start with the annoying, making an appt is interesting... but it doesn't seem to matter, they'll open when they open regardless of whether you pick 9am from Vagaro or not, they will just assign a new time like 10am anyway. So if you're using Vagaro pay attention!! After which I called and was told they are not here at 9am. So I took the 10am slot, just for them to not be there at 10am anyway?! Today at 1005 and 1010 cars rolled in and people started making their way in to the location, but did not turn on the open sign or lights, so I continued to wait. Another employee showed up at 1015 to which I walked in behind her... and the front desk girl gave me an odd look like I was breaking in and said do you have an appt? I advised her of my name and time slot. So she walked me over to a chair and sat me. She did not seem pleased that I let myself in behind the employee. The technician I had is very nice but a lil heavy handed with the nippers... I wanted to say ouch but I did not bother. What was more fun was having rubbing alcohol on my toes where she nipped to hard, trust that it was felt again! THE REAL STINKER OF THIS VISIT: I don't know who you think you're fooling stating you're using eminence products when your staff rolls out the cera ve or ponds what ever that was slathered not only all over my face/neck/back. I use eminence products for my face at home. That mini facial using eminence products was the ONLY reason I picked the signature pedicure. If I had seen what she was doing I'd have stopped her promptly but by the time I saw what she was using it was too late. Things to review as the business owner if you care: Fix your Vagaro appt time slots, since your staff doesn't work at 9am, 9am should not be an option. Fix your menu to take Eminences name off the menu since you aren't actually using their products. Remove the "soothing eye cucumbers" as that wasn't done either. The front register girl is kind of a headache to deal with, on the phone as well as in person. Your employees should be there and ready to go by 10am not 1020. Also please have your employees refrain from using the customers hair as a rag while doing the massage! I lost count after about the 10th she wiped her hands in my hair! I was just raging at this point and wanted to just leave. I was definitely not pleased to have to go straight home from there just to shower and get this stuff out of my hair and off my face/neck/back. I came in clean and left feeling gross and greasy. read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY. I spent $160 for the most unrelaxing "90 minute" head spa session. The session itself wasn't even the full 90 minutes and there was even a point in the middle of the session where she globed a mask on my face very sloppily and left the room for 20 minutes while I laid there cold. The entire thing felt rushed, frantic, and so so uncomfortable. Also, the circle water sprayer that I was so excited for, the lady used it TWICE for less than 10 seconds. Would have rather spent my Saturday evening at home on my couch, very disappointed. Also got there for my appointment at 11 and had to wait 30 minutes before they were even ready. THEN I passed by Mon Amie and was captivated by the aesthetic and ambience of the salon !! Vegan Cafe , Salon , Spa!!! I booked my appointment ASAP for a CBD pedicure ! Ngl , it was very expensive , but when speaking on the phone with Hannah the owner. I found out I would save 20% my first time!! SO WORTH IT!! When I show up I'm greeted and welcomed in to a tranquil environment where good energy filled the room! I was given my CBD pedi by Pa and when I say this woman knows what she's doing I wouldn't be lying !!! AMAZING ! A few massages , Masks & Hot stones later.. My total was higher than I expected :( because I forgot shellac / poslish wasn't included.. ) & after I checked out I forgot to remind / ask if they had already applied the discount !!! None the less when I called the salon Hannah was able to take care of me and leave me with a smile by refunding me my 20% off the day of for being a first time client!!! I've visited this nail salon several times before. The space is calming, clean and well lit. And I appreciate the quality of products they use. But the last few times, I haven't been happy with the quality of nail service. The filing job has been sloppy. They've left jagged edges on the nails and just painted over it. They leave nail polish on the skin. And my cuticles have been significant cut the last 3 times taking more than a week to heal. The nail polish has been bubbly and uneven. I've left the last couple times feeling like I just needed to go home and redo it. Where's the attention to basic details, like a smooth filing job? I decided to treat myself to a facial for the first time.. and Melissa did not disappoint. I ended up upgrading from the 30 minute to the hour long upon arrival, I don't regret it at all. The facial was customized to my skincare needs, and Melissa was very intentional with every movement. The towels smelled like eucalyptus, I was given a support pillow to help my back, and even the towel placement when wiping off products was slow, intentional, and relaxing. There's also humps in the shape which makes my nails look cheap and fake. The paint is very sloppy and I left looking like my nails need to be filled within a few days. Giving the salon 3 stars because everyone was so nice; however, I won't be back. When I arrived, there seemed to be confusion on how to greet me so I didn't know where to go or with whom. The employees asked 5 times what services I was getting despite me stating the services when I made the appointment and writing them down when I got there. The owner was nice but she walked around barefoot most of the time, her feet were filthy, and it just looked unhygienic.
