Looks can be deceiving cause this salon is spacious! It's very light and airy inside. Also very clean. As you enter, they check you in and offer beverages as you wait. I've been "dating" new hair stylists and my last cut left me with hair that was messy, uneven, and unmanageable. I've gotten a blowout from Miriam in the past and really appreciated her kindness and her passion for her craft. So I decided to book with her to see if she can somehow fix my hair. She listened to my preferences and was honest that with the way it got cut previously, she won't be able to fix it completely unless we went short. Once I was bored with the purple, Jasmine helped me get rid of that color and color corrected to get my hair back to its brown with some nice blonde highlights. 3. She listened to what I like and don't like. It's hard to get a good haircut imo and this was a great one. While she was cutting my hair we discussed what to do to my hair, colorwise, for my next appointment. She took pictures of me and came up with inspo ideas on her own time. When I showed up for my hair color appointment she had photo ideas ready to go. I've never had someone go out of their way outside of the salon to come up with a hair color idea specific to me. After feeling confused and completely ignored I decided to leave thinking maybe the appointment had gotten canceled or there was some type of mix-up since it was NYE. The salon reached out to me and wanted to make sure everything was OK and I explained the situation. They said "OK, we just want you to be comfortable." I thought everything was cool but I woke up to a $90 cancellation fee. I had no idea this was policy and I was NOT informed that I would be charged this fee. Make sure if you go here you take it upon yourself to go above and beyond to have any questions answered. I would honestly just avoid this place, they make enough money off of charging full-service cancellation fees! In this economy, absolutely diabolical. DO NOT BOOK SERVICES WITH MIRIAM!! read more
