Got a manicure and a pedicure here and everyone is so efficient and effective. Just did a walk in and everything went seamlessly. First you choose the color you want and what kind of service you want done. My sister already has a photo of what she wanted based on what she found online and they were able to replicate it. I was indecisive with the color that I wanted but the worker there was nice enough to look at a photo of the dress I was going to wear and suggest a color for me. This place is so dirty and run down they charge $30 for a basic pedicure and don't even have the toe spacers to be charging that much she put little tiny pieces of toilet paper instead lol and the pedi chairs are disgusting and falling apart/ripped..there's mosquitos and flies flying around.. and they charge an extra $2 just to pay with card. You would think for the location it would be better quality and look nice inside but nope. I was also going to get a fill, but I'm glad I decided not to. Nail shops in East LA have way nicer shops and the work and prices and even cleanliness is so much better. I would not recommend this place. read more

I've been here maybe 5 or 6 times over the past two years and It's time to find someplace else. They're very nice and always fit me in since I'm usually walk in, but the quality for the price is just NOT great. My natural shape of my nails is somewhat square and no matter how many times I say, "just file them across, keep the natural shape" - they always end up making them round or oval or each nail a different shape/ length. Gel Manicure is always goey and lumpy and has bubbles. I usually get a host stone deluxe pedicure too and that process is nice but I always get stabbed at least once. Their prices are on par with other spots in LA and it always seems clean. What keeps me coming back is their gel color selection. Left dissatisfied with my service. I walked in at around noon and there was no one there which was nice. I was seated immediately and the lady with short hair and glasses gave my multiple rings to choose a color. Reasons why I didn't vibe with this place: 1) Filed my nail wrong. I wanted square with soft ends but she made it almost completely round. I expressed to her that I wanted it more square and she just kept nodding but filing it in the shape that I didn't want. 2) I decided to go with white gel mani. When she's done she asks me if I want glitter on top for free. She said the white nail polish gets yellow and cracks easily. I told her I've had it before and they haven't done that. So I don't know if they're using lower quality nail polish because why would she need to put on a glitter top coat? For FREE at that since nail salons generally charge for every little accent. 3) After I left the salon, (already not loving it or the experience), I saw my nails in the car and was very disappointed. The nail polish looks curdly, my nails are not filed well. I wanted to message Brian the store manager but I also didn't want to waste another hour for a bad job. Will not be returning here. Definitely had higher expectations from other Yelp reviews and location being in Pasadena. I usually get gel manicures because they last longer and I don't have to worry about chipping. Gel colors are basic but i am a no frills type of person. I don't need crazy designs or chrome. They have good walk in availability during off peak hours which is good for me because I don't know when I will be coming in. You can pay with card for an extra $1 and tips should be in cash or Venmo. There is an ATM on site. Parking is easy in the lot. read more

I got a last minute pedicure here because I was waiting to pick someone up from a procedure down the street. The reviews were overall good and the place has a good amount of stars and didn't seem too expensive for the area and was similar or a little less than other quotes I had gotten from other salons in the area. I called ahead and there was no wait. When I arrived they sat me down immediately. My nail tech cut the cuticle on one of my toes a little too close but it didn't bleed. It didn't really hurt but I could tell that it was close to becoming irritated. She then proceeded to aggressively buff the nail and my cuticle skin which then did begin to to hurt. After the buffing was finished I could tell that it had started to bleed a bit. The rest of the pedicure was ok. I chose a dark polish and at one point noticed that it had gotten on my skin and was asking the tech to please clean it before putting it under the light because I didn't want it to burn. She ignored me and just turned on the light. One thing I did appreciate is that she was generous with the amount of polish. Normally places only want to do two coats and will sometimes do three if the color isn't coming out as it appears on the swatch. My tech did three and I think we both realized it wasn't as dark as the swatch so she asked if I wanted one more coat. I thought this was pretty nice and the color did appear closer to the swatch after. I was a bit concerned at the cleanliness seeing my nail tech use one of the tools she had used on me to puncture the plastic liner. The tools were pulled out of a cart, so I wasn't able to see if they came from a sterilized bag. I don't know if the soaking tub was sanitized before and after. I would hope so but I have some doubts as to the cleanliness. The service was $43 for gel removal and gel pedi. This isn't a bad price but feel it is a little high for the basic pedi service I received. My usual place charges $30 for a basic gel pedi and $5 for gel removal. I was wearing socks immediately after and could feel where I had been cut and I am still a bit worried about getting an infection. I put aquaphor on my cut as soon as I got home and have been applying it regularly for the past day to help it heal quicker. I am surprised at the reviews and the service I received. If I'm ever in the area again, I will have to find another place because I definitely don't think this was it. read more

Brian did my full set and the woman who did my pedicure were both AMAZING: they were patient and helpful with me picking the exact two toned color I wanted: and Brian was so precise in detail about making sure every nail was perfect.
