Heard other patrons talking about it. She even applied Aloe Vera to cool down the sensation, which wasn't bad at all. Some places don't do that. They sell many different types of products for your skin and hair. What I liked was that they didn't convince, nor force you to buy anything. To be honest with you, the price for both were a tad expensive. I paid $31 for my under arms, and $30.00 for my eyebrows. Yes, both of them. LOL.:-)) I have 2 eyebrows. Minus her tip. They do all types of wax, for women and men. Eyebrows, chest, bikini, underarms, legs, arms, lips, entire face, and more. Place was spotless clean, with street and private lot parking. They have gender neutral restrooms. I guess you get what you pay for! I will stop by again, if and when I am in the area. So many good reviews but sad to say mine is going to be horrible! I've been here a couple times. Only 2 people here are the best not sure what their names are but it's a young Asian lady and young Asian guy ( usually sits at the back desk ) I've gotten my nails done here and they come out amazing! Now, I brought my sister and she had this older Asian man ( usually sit near the front ) do her nails and he RUSHED! He had no reason to be in a hurry! They weren't close to closing! Her nails came out too thick and ugly!! She hated them :( just so that he can go back on his damn phone! My worst experience ( in which I'll NEVER COME BACK HERE ) I went for a pedicure here for the first time & a older lady attended me. She may not have cleaned her equipment or idk what the heck she did to my toe but 2 weeks later it gets infected to the point where my toe started hurting so I went to someone to get it partially removed to find out it was really bad ! PLEASE LADIES! Make sure you see them clean or ask them to do so In front of you! Then she didn't trim my nails down. I had to tell her again to cut them. I constantly had to tell her how to do my pedicure!!! She then started to put toilet paper between my toes and I told her I didn't like that because it doesn't work. She insisted on doing that. What ended up happening is she put too much nail polish on my toes and she put it on too thick. With the heat my toes were not drying. That toilet paper was not helping to separate my toes. She did a sloppy job. Nail polish rubbed off to the back of my other toe!!! It's Smirded off and I refused to pay for a sloppy pedicure. I will NEVER go there again!!! I'm going to have to get it done right somewhere else. What I really couldn't stand is the two women kept talking in their own language. Which is RUDE and I told them that in this country we speak English, not another language in front of people that don't speak their language. It is rude. Don't speak Chinese, Vietnamese or Korean in front of people who don't speak that language. That's disrespectful plain and simple.

Please consider looking at the photos of my nails an hour after they were done. I initially overlooked things because there was one employee in particular who was very kind and I kept hoping my experience would improve. Unfortunately, after several visits, I began noticing issues that became impossible to ignore. I observed sanitation and maintenance concerns that made me uncomfortable, including openings in walls with exposed plumbing, tools appearing to be reused between clients without proper visible sanitization, and a communal nail brush in the bathroom that was later used during service. This raised hygiene concerns for me personally. My birthday appointment was the turning point. I specifically requested Serena. During removal, my nails chipped significantly and I felt the service was rushed. I requested nail strengthening treatment and a simple French tip, but the final result was thick and not what I had asked for. When I politely said I was unhappy with the outcome, the response immediately became uncomfortable. Cameras were repeatedly referenced even though I was simply discussing the result of my nails and not disputing what happened. I was told that whatever I chose next "better be right" because they did not want me returning unhappy later. The repeated references to surveillance felt unnecessary and unrelated to the issue I was trying to address. There were also concerns about pricing. The posted pricing showed removal and regular polish charges, however I was charged more than expected and left confused about the final total. The polish reportedly applied "free of charge" did not feel free when the overall bill had already increased. After payment there was little acknowledgment, no effort to resolve concerns, and the interaction felt abrupt. When my husband later tried to discuss the pricing and service concerns, the conversation escalated further. Cameras were referenced again, we were directed to contact the owner, a phone number provided was unreachable, and the situation became increasingly hostile rather than solution focused. At that point it stopped being about the money and became about customer treatment. I gave this place multiple chances because there were staff members I genuinely liked and wanted to support. Unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed, uncomfortable, and disappointed. I would encourage management to focus on professionalism, sanitation transparency, customer communication, and handling feedback without escalation. For those looking in Pasadena, I would personally recommend seeking a salon with clearer pricing, stronger customer service, and a cleaner environment.
