Back with another lit review went here today @1 and I loved it everyone was friendly and nice. All the supplies they used where sanitize and clean and new I got gel acrylics I wasn't sure what color I want it but they were friendly and nice and patient to help me Pick out a color I will most definitely be coming here again.
Very pleasantly surprised to have found to this place off Groupon! It's a little bit past Target to the left and wouldn't have found it other wise. Ivy was who did my nails and did an amazing job, paying attention to cubicles and no polish on the sides of my fingers. Gel manicure was flawless and I'll let you be the judge to the picture attached! Also, lots of color options and I'm hoping to try out their glitter options next time.
I came for a gel mani a few days ago. Thank goodness parking was easy and convenient since they are located in a shopping center. I arrived and picked a color that wasn't available, the nail tech just told me they ran out. She walked away and left me to pick another picture. I didn't like their selection as they had basic colors that we have all seen before. I just picked something else but I wish the manicurist would have been a bit more attentive and help me pick something that was similar to what I had picked but they didn't have. I've gone to places that they will help you pick a similar shade and they know the names of the polish. It's ok, I picked something anyway. Not a big deal. At the end she did a great job. The only problem I have is that when she was putting The cuticle oil instead of just placing it and leaving it she used her OWN nail to push them back after my manicure. Don't let her do that. Now it looks like I have a weeks worth of growth and I'm upset about that. I've never gone to a place where they actually push your cuticles back right after but it was too late by the time I saw I told her not to but my cuticles are all pushed back. :/ The manicure is great, again now I have cuticles pushed back and it looks like it's been a week when it hasn't been. :/
My new favorite nail shop in all of Pasadena !! After finding a great Groupon for this place, I went with a friend and we had such a great experience. We came in close to closing time, and they took us with no complaints, took their time on our nails, and really gave us quality work, they stayed almost an hour after closing time to finish our nails. I asked some questions about some of their techniques which I hadn't seen before, and of course they answered all of them and were glad I was asking. I loved the owner, she clearly cares about the quality of her work, her workers, and the customers experience. My friend didn't even have the Groupon, but the owner still gave her the discount price. The prices are very reasonable, much better than a lot of places I've been to, and especially for the quality of work they did. Love this place and was so happy with my experience there, definitely recommend:)
Excellent down to earth staff :) They have a good amount of color choices. They didn't cut me! Which is a hit and miss at many other spas. It's reasonably priced. Think I found my new spot.
I love this place! I scheduled an appt for 5 girls and Julie was so accommodating! We got right in and had such wonderful service. Make sure to call and make a reservation first but if they have a Groupon be sure to ask if she can charge that before buying it. We didn't need the Groupons for our visit. The place was also very clean and had wonderful massage chairs! She even offered us all mimosas :D
Excellent Gel Manicure, ask for Ivy. I found this place through a Groupon deal and boy am I glad I did! Hands down (pun intended) the best gel manicure in town. I'm a nail bitter and am really rough on my hands so it's nearly impossible for me to have a manicure last, never mind actually growing out my nails. But since coming here, I have been able to do so and constantly get compliments on my manicure. Ivy is one of the best nail techs around. Very patient and skilled. She even kindly pointed me in the direction of a more lovely nail color when the original one I had selected was not flattering on my skin tone, which I appreciated greatly. Her gel manicures last 2 weeks easy and probably longer if I could stand the grow out. They use quality products and I can tell the difference because I get nearly zero lift...these gels stay put! In general the salon is clean and spacious and I never have a hard time finding parking as it's located in a plaza. All the staff is kind and professional and very welcoming. They'll chat with you if you feel like talking or let you relax if you need to unwind. It feels like going to a friend's house and hanging out. Call for an appointment and check them out, you won't be dissapointed!
I want to like this place, gave it three tries but I won't be going back after my experience yesterday. The nail technician I had was horrible. The edges of my toes nails are uneven and she cut me while trimming my cuticles - and would have continued to cut me (she kept going over the same spot), if I didn't tell her to stop because she was hurting me. She didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. Prices are good but worth it to pay more somewhere else for better service.
I have to admit it. I'm in L O V E with the owner Julie :)) Seriously! She had me at "let me see your nails" over the phone when I called to make an appointment and told her that I was going to have a regular mani even though I already pre- paid for a gel mani (c'mon WHO still does that??? convinces you to get your money's worth when they already have your $$$) The owner is super friendly & entertaining - she wants to make sure that you enjoy yourself & love your treatment. We watched hilarious episodes of AGT & couldn't stop laughing but she has access to everything on the large screen. The nail technicians do a really good job with your nails! This place is not fancy or super luxurious but it is clean, welcoming & enjoyable :)
They were quick and efficient and I appreciate that. With the yelp check in discount, it was $23 for a gel manicure (what a deal!!). For the price, you really can't beat it. She did go a little too far on my middle finger (you can see a little nick in the picture), for the price it was alright.

It's easy to like a business that has personality. I was greeted with a friendly smile, as I entered the salon. Going to the Heart and Soul Spa was relaxing experience. There were professionals doing hair, as well as others doing nails, while I was there. It was nice to walk into a friendly engaging atmosphere. The hair stations and manicure/pedicure stations were cleaned and sanitized, after each client. Cleanliness is definitely a priority. All protocols for COVID were being followed. My hair stylist first consulted with me about my expectations. He then proceeded to give me a great color and cut. I was very happy with the final result. I could hear customers express their pleasure with the attention they received, as they were leaving the salon. Plenty of parking outside the entrance to the Heart and Soul Spa. Always best to call for an appointment! read more
Service: 5/5! Definitely will be coming back again, I'm so happy with my nails. They looked so beautiful even after a few weeks. Julie (owner) is so sweet, she loves plants. We watched succulent videos on YouTube on the big screen tv. I didn't catch the name of the one doing my nails, but she did an amazing job. Quality: They have a wide variety of gel polish colors! Quality is great, they pay attention to detail and fully cure each layer of gel polish for every nail. Parking: Parking lot out front, same center as Spectrum Other: I did purchase a groupon and call ahead to make an appointment. They were all so sweet and did not alter my experience because of the groupon which I definitely appreciate. read more

A few weeks ago I got a gel manicure, and in just a few days, they were cracking. I called the salon and the owner was really nice about everything and had me go in to take a look at them. She had the girls fix my gel manicure. They were all really nice and polite! Now about 2-3 weeks later, my gel manicure is still flawless! I absolutely love my gel! Thank you for fixing my nails! I love this place and definitely will continue to be their customer! (: thanks ladies!! read more

Love this shop! The parking lot is spacious and the shopping center is quiet. The place is very clean and Julie is super friendly. She took her time with my gel manicure and answered any question I asked. She takes payment on Venmo which is PAWPIN! I will definitely be back and they are conveniently located in East Pasadena. There is a Salon connected as well. read more

After four days gel nails starting peeling. Today a week and another nail is already peeling. First and last time there. They are nice but paying extra for gel nails they should definitely last way longer. read more

This is my second visit to Heart and Soul Spa for a gel pedicure. Everyone has been extremely nice at each visit. My first visit was a five star rating for sure. This visit I did have to take off a star due to my toe being cut and the foot rest constantly moving out from under my feet which caused a calf and thigh workout to keep it from moving. Workouts are awesome, but during a pedicure you want to be able to relax and it's hard to do when your muscles are tight the whole time. I will continue to come back here. The customer service is too great to say good bye just because of two small mis-haps. Maybe next time I will do a manicure as well. read more

I got a Groupon for a gel manicure here, and I had a wonderful experience. I was surprised at the wide selection of colors I was able to choose from. Kim did my gel manicure, and she was very efficient with time and very precise with with my nails. After my manicure Kim gave me a hand and arm massage that felt amazing. I absolutely love how my nails turned out. I love the color and the service I received. The place was clean and the spa chairs are adorable. The owner, Julie, was also very kind and funny. We were talking about politics and cats! She rescues cats as a hobby! How awesome is that?! There's plenty of free parking in the plaza. read more

I have been there... So I'm pretty sure it's open. I know that they have limited hours or it may have been by appointment only... I would call at different times of the day.
