Her effort and technique are up to par with much more expensive places (Burke Williams) I have visited in the past. Many massage places in Pasadena feel like a lotion rub down and her work is the opposite. She is strong and actually works deeply in your problem areas. despite a slight language barrier we communicated just fine. The place is clean and they saw me immediately even though I only called 15 mins ahead. You can pay with cash, card, Venmo so that's great. Parking is super easy in the rear. I appreciated the heat lamp! First time I had one during a massage. I felt like a rotisserie chicken from Costco but I'm that person that's always cold during massages. I'm also thankful for the extra hot towels she used to wipe down my back after the scrub. Terrible place with terrible massage. Can never ask for the same person 2x in a row, and if you book an appointment in the morning, they don't leave the heat on, so the room is like 50 degrees. And for some reason, even tho I was freshly showered, they keep the stupid sheet over your back and shoulders and act like you're dirty, and only massage you over the sheet. Terrible place. After a good experience the very first time, I came there 3 more times after trying to recreate the good experience I had the first time. Every proceeding appointment was worse than the last. The massage itself was fine. Until she came to my scalp and hair. I'm used to Chinese style massages where they massage your face and scratch your scalp, usually ending with gentle tugging on the hair. This masseuse scratched my scalp so violently, it was still sore the next day. She yanked my hair so hard, she literally pulled whole handfuls from the roots. Ive lost so much hair, it makes me want to cry. And I know it's not normal shedding because the roots are still attached to the hair. Another con - the therapist answered a phone call during my massage and frequently left the room without preamble to talk to coworkers. I could also hear everything the people camped out on the sidewalk outside were doing / saying. They can get rowdy and one even banged on the glass aggressively during my time there. Not very relaxing. Finally, I'm not confident in the sanitation or the legitimacy of this place. The masseuse accidentally touched my eye at when she was moving to the head massage. I spent the rest of the time internally worrying about catching conjunctivitis. Not relaxing. She didn't acknowledge touching my eye, much less ask if I was ok. Just imagine, for a second, your fingers on a stranger's eye. Is that not weird?! Unsanitary? Not what I would expect from a trained, licensed masseuse. I've never had an issue like this at any other massage and I'm not a novice. This place isn't even that affordable compared to other places in the SGV. It took us over an hour to get to this location, due to the holiday and living in LA. We got a confirmation text to confirm our appointment and even called numerous times beforehand to confirm. Truly ruined our night out and don't plan on ever booking here again. Even if I did book, I would constantly be worried my appointment isn't legit and I would say horrible customer service but I truly don't think they cared to begin with. read more

She was excellent and worked really hard to get the knots out of my shoulders, back, buttocks, and calves. She also stretched my hip and shoulder joints to increase circulation and flexibility. Came here last night. Called in the afternoon and was able to get a 90min massage same day at 7pm. When I called to book it went to VM and then someone texted me. I got the feeling that text was better than phone. The spa is nice, clean, feminine. My treatment room looked just as nice as any slighter higher end day spa. There were very pretty bars mounted on the ceiling for Thai massage. My room was a soft blush pink, pretty artwork on the wall and clean crisp sheets. I opted for 90min firm Swedish. Lily was my therapist and she was amazing. Firm Swedish was more like firm deep tissue. I have a bad trouble spot between my shoulders. She noticed right away and worked on it for about 45mins. It was painful but I knew it was needed. If you're looking for something relaxing I would clearly communicate the pressure you're looking for and never ever hesitate to speak up if something is too deep. I'm not modest in my massage so I go in the nude. The modesty draping wasn't super buttoned up so if you are modest I'd suggest wear undergarments and let your therapist know. I got the impression that Lily was the only one working, with about 10mins left in my massage someone walked in. She apologized and excused herself to see them and promptly came back in. Honestly, not a big deal at all. For the price and service I received this is minor. All in all I can't recommend this place enough. I get to appointment at 3:20 and I'm told there is no appointment in their system and to come back at 4:00. I decide to come back since it was too late to get an appointment elsewhere on such short notice. When I get there I am placed in a room and I wait for masseuse for over 10 minutes. After the massage I decide to tip $8 given the issues I went through. However, the masseuse says that's low. I go up to $10 and she is still hesitant and eventually I say okay $12. I felt comfortable the entire time and she got all my hairs, she really wanted to make sure I was comfortable in every aspect. As for the massage, this had to be the best massage I've ever had, and I've gotten a lot. Great pressure, warm and soft sheets, calming music, and her hands were so soft.
