I tried Andy's Pizza 11 years later in 2025, and while it was solid although not as good as Wiseguy, my real complaint with Andy's was that the pizza is very thin, where I was hungry very soon later; so a much worse value as pricing is comparable to Wiseguy. Wiseguy slices are big, and the pizza is top notch New York style. I went to this location a couple of more times after my initial August 2014 visit as I loved the pizza. Then, they opened up other locations. I went to Navy Yard one at least twice, once after a Nationals baseball game after a disappointing loss for my 4th favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers. Sorry Nats fans, but Nats are in my bottom 10 teams. I also went to Rosslyn & Pentagon City location, where parking isn't quite as bad. She started in December 2019, then on that Friday, 1/10, the contract was furloughed due to the contract company President dying, so she was off for 2 weeks. Then, it was back to normal commuting back to DC, which was brief, as Covid was around the corner, and became 100% remote. I was pissed at him quickly dropping him the next morning as soon as I could. Although rain chances were low like 15%, there was a heavy thunderstorm that blew from DCA to Nats Park; almost the entire region was clear, but just bad luck. The rain lasted like 15 minutes, but I was pissed at the Nats because they delayed the game by 1.5 hours! They should've gotten the game going within 45 minutes. I think it was a ploy by the Nats to get people to buy more drinks & food. I refused to give the Nats a dime besides the ticket to go to the game. But after the rain, I was hungry from like the 5th inning to the end. We should've been out of there about 6:30 (which would've been on par with my hunger level) but instead like 8 PM. I told my friend about Wiseguy seeing it was quick & relatively cheap. He loved their pizza too as did I once again. If I'm ever in Navy Yard, Wiseguy is definitely a viable option for me.
