So this pizza place came highly recommended since we were traveling to DC this weekend. I'm a bit of a pizza snob so I was stuck between 3 and 4 stars on this location. The good was the staff here. They were sooooo incredibly nice. The pizza and knots were also very inexpensive. We even checked the prices of the airport location on our way home. Same prices which we did not expect at the airport. The pizza and knots were just OK for me. I love thin crust pizza, but this was too thin for me. The pizza sauce was also just a little too sweet for me. The garlic knots were way too sweet for me. All in all coming here for a late lunch was fine. 7/12/2026 - Sunday, it's 12pm. I went in there to get the pizza since I had a 5 star experience a few days ago. This time it was a 1 star and would have left zero stats. Pizza maker started to make my custom pie for $12 and I said I wanted extra red sauce. I asked for more and she said no since it breaks in the oven. We don't do that she said. She told me last time I was here they should not have done that. Told her they did it last time. Pizza maker then said we can do it but I'm going to charge you. I then told her charge me for extra sauce when it wasn't a charge last time when I came here. Again said they should not have done that. Told her then I'm out and she didn't even care. 1 star. Extremely small and cramped inside, and it seems some people just come in and sit there all day. It was also wildly hot and stuffy, despite it being in the 40's that day. I assume because of the small space and amount of people, it's difficult for them to clean, so the one group table was very dirty. Staff did not seem to want to talk to anyone and would point at the kiosk instead of taking orders (despite there being a sign that said orders can be made at the counter with an arrow). The menu looks fantastic, tons of options, lots of customization, but the food was very basic. The crust was fluffy and a golden brown, but the sauce tasted like tangy marinara and was sparse. Toppings in general seemed lacking compared to the bread. The pizza tasted more like something you would get in a cafeteria- not bad, but not something to order twice. read more

You only have like five ingredients to put on it. And then you get hardly ANY ingredients on basically the driest flatbread. It's a tiny tiny place with absolutely no ventilation. The cooks were sweating bullets in there when I went last week. As a customer I couldn't stay there for more than 10 minutes, I'm not sure how the poor employees weren't passing out with no AC in the middle of the swampiest and hottest summer I've experienced in the DMV. I ordered on Doordash instead (for pickup since I was right there). I ordered two pizzas (dry and mediocre) and Nutella cherry bites which had NO NUTELLA. We explore the beautiful Smithsonian Natural History Museum this day got super hungry and crave for some delicious pizza well ok this place did not disappoint. It is close walking proximity to the museum. Their crust is perfect in every bite and the pizza is cooked flavorful fresh ingredients. We were seeing &pizza all over the place while we were in DC so thought we would give it a try (since it's not something we have on the west coast, but comparable to Blaze Pizza). We ordered the American Honey--the menu was more limited than they had online so I didn't get the hot knots :( but we were able to make the pizza our own (just by adding mushrooms lol). Like the other BYO pizza places out there, we were able to watch it being made and then finished it off with our personal toppings (extra banana peppers!!). Overall, definitely a chain restaurant but pretty decent if you're craving a quick snack! I was able to share one pizza and be fueled for our next journey.
