This is pretty good artisan pizza for a reasonable price. I recommend the basil as a base. Very friendly staff as well.

7/8/2026 - I haven't been to this biz since we lived in VA. This place doesn't exist on the west coast. Literally by the FBI HQ in DC. 4 stars overall and took 1 star off since the counter to order for ingredients you can't see unless you are 5 ft 7 or taller. They need to remove the signs so shorter people can see the toppings for their pizza. $12 you have a pizza with 8 slices. Pick your sauce and all the toppings you want. 5 minutes later it's done. I ordered the farmers daughter pizza, and I will tell you, I was blown away. I was on a short trip and I did not have any expectations of this pizza but when I took the first bite, I fell in love. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat. It took around 10 minutes to get my pizza. The service was pretty good, they made to sure that the customers were taken care of. Staff did not seem to want to talk to anyone and would point at the kiosk instead of taking orders (despite there being a sign that said orders can be made at the counter with an arrow). The menu looks fantastic, tons of options, lots of customization, but the food was very basic. The crust was fluffy and a golden brown, but the sauce tasted like tangy marinara and was sparse. My pizza was supposed to have pineapple on it in addition to other toppings, but unfortunately I couldn't see the pineapple and didn't taste it either. We were seeing &pizza all over the place while we were in DC so thought we would give it a try (since it's not something we have on the west coast, but comparable to Blaze Pizza). We ordered the American Honey--the menu was more limited than they had online so I didn't get the hot knots :( but we were able to make the pizza our own (just by adding mushrooms lol). Like the other BYO pizza places out there, we were able to watch it being made and then finished it off with our personal toppings (extra banana peppers!!). Overall, definitely a chain restaurant but pretty decent if you're craving a quick snack! I was able to share one pizza and be fueled for our next journey. Absolutely do NOT recommend. The line was so long and there isn't a cashier to help you, just two machines to customize your pizza. And the menu is super limited. The cooks were sweating bullets in there when I went last week. As a customer I couldn't stay there for more than 10 minutes, I'm not sure how the poor employees weren't passing out with no AC in the middle of the swampiest and hottest summer I've experienced in the DMV. I ordered on Doordash instead (for pickup since I was right there). I ordered two pizzas (dry and mediocre) and Nutella cherry bites which had NO NUTELLA. Ah this is tough because the pizza was REALLY good. But it was possibly over 100 degrees inside so it is not comfortable to wait, at all. The soda machine (after I paid for a fountain soda) had no ice and dispensed the wrong soda, the lines must be mixed up. The arugula on the salad was discolored and wilted. Delivery and pizza was great! CUSTOMER SERVICE is terrible. If there's any issue, or if they don't deliver the right pizza, or drinks, or whatever.. you can't call the store. They don't correct your order that you pay for, that night. you have to email, and do all this stuff, JUST to get somebody to make it right. Lunch was on tap on my last stop in Washington DC before heading on the road across state lines to Delaware. My friend called &Pizza, a place where you can get Pizza - Subway style. She wasn't wrong. You basically watch your pizza being made, much like at a local Subway sandwich shop. With that said, my friends and I arrived here around 2:00pm after a good time at the Spy Museum. The restaurant itself was fairly small with a large table for patrons and a couple of tables that looked outside to the street. My friends and I opted to stay and dine in, even though it was basically fast food counter service. The restaurant itself was clean and moved at a fast pace even though there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. I guess we really missed rush hour but the street parking said otherwise. We initially had problems with the parking, but ended up paying with the city's parking app. We spent about 60 ish minutes here from ordering to finish eating and headed out. I opted for the Buffalo chicken pizza, which was similar to like an open faced sandwich, but it was a small personal sized pizza. We got to see how it was made before it got into the oven for cooking. It was definitely faster than the other traditional pizza joints out there, especially when you want to fry up a single without the waiting. I must say that the Buffalo chicken pizza was definitely the thing to do on a casual Friday afternoon in Washington DC. The service here was friendly and good, although it's fast food so you don't really get a lot of face time anyway. Just order, pay, and eat, basically. The overall experience here at &Pizza - Washington DC was as good as being at Subway but for pizza. It was a quintessential stop for lunch that was recommended by my local DC area friend. While the experience could have been a little bit better with the dining in aspect and the ambiance, it was one of those places where you'd want to your pizzas in your stomach and get out. At least that's what it seemed like. They have a nice drink fountain machine for those who love soda and other flavors. The accept major credit cards, as well as cash. It is one place you would love to go to, especially when it is a quick deal to go and pick up your pizza hot and fresh from the oven. As far as parking goes, you probably either find street parking nearby or or pay for parking near the mobile app that locals use. Not sure about any other parking garage option that you may have, but the pizza speaks for itself. Do you yourself a favor and get here pronto. I'm pretty sure if there is a local bus route, or you can use the Washington DC Metro to get here quickly. There's always Uber and Lyft for at your disposal, if you need it. It is better to get here cheaply so that you may enjoy more pizza that's is offered here. If you're a pizza, lover, you best come here. I did enjoy the buffalo chicken sandwich pizza. It's a little bit of everything that you love here that pizza. Well, they have other specialty pizzas. Here, that was generally my favorite one, and hope to be back someday soon we'll check everything else out. This is a must try if you are visiting out of town! They even have vegan options! Here are some of them: Dough is vegan, Marinara sauce, spicy Marinara sauce, plant based Mozzarella, plant based sausage, hot buffalo topping drizzle, garlic butter topping drizzle and Vegan Knotts. I also appreciate their team changing out their gloves between orders AND they have separate pizza cutters for the vegan orders. They have two restrooms though at the time of this review one of their bathroom doors didn't close all the way. They don't have much indoor seating options but they also have some outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is shared by another restaurant which are designated by a sign. The service, to be honest, is pretty slow but worth the wait. It's the TRUFFLE RANCH for me! I love this new discovery from &Pizza! Not sure how long it's been around, but I've only recently had it so it's new to me and I'm in love!! I don't frequent this location much these days since I'm mostly teleworking but I've never had any issues here. A few days ago on National Pizza Day I decided to get my lunch from here. Placed the order on the app and arrived at my pickup time. My food was hot and waiting for me! I usually do the "craft your own" and every time I do different things, but one thing that it always will be for me, is spicy! Give me all the hotness (jalapenos, peppers...all that)! And truffle ranch - not spicy but darn good. Do they bottle this up and sell it separately? I would totally buy that! A local chain, make your own pizza place, for what it is, it's pretty good. Fresh ingredients and a speedy process make this general experience pretty good overall. My only gripe with this chain is the crust is not super flavorful and too chewy.
