Very difficult to find an opto store that can do soldering repairs. I called at 2:30 on a Friday and inquired with a gentleman, said they were open until 6, yes took walk-ins. We drove there, took an hour in peak traffic but so worth it. Worked on the glasses that same day, they did a great job. They have a large selection of frames, and I ended up with a nice pair of Oakleys that I still have to this day. Since I no longer have vision insurance, I have gotten new lenses a few times over the years from Costco. Since I got the frames here, I stop by once every few years when something doesn't feel right, or if the nose pads seem worn. Diane always seems to be at the front desk, and amazingly remembers me every time I walk in the door even though it is pretty infrequent. She is always so friendly and helpful, and adjusts my frames perfectly every time. I really should get a quote for new lenses from them next time, maybe it is not that much of a difference even without insurance. Dr. Dang was great, and Diane is the best. They were running a little behind because I guess they were having computer problems, but they were super apologetic about it and I did not mind waiting at all because I had nothing else on my schedule for the day. Danny even offered me water or Gatorade with ice, which I gladly accepted. Jesus was super nice and knowledgeable when helping me order my contacts and glasses make sure I was able to find the right deals and make sure that I use my insurance too. It's full of potential so I really appreciate him for doing that. The store itself is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The store is nice and clean and air-conditioned. I was also recommended Optase Hylo Relief dry eye drops and they've been great. They keep my eyes lubricated with contacts and feel noticeably better than other brands I've tried. David, the office manager, is very straightforward, sometimes blunt, but always clear and helpful. There was a miscommunication with my contact lenses that left me unable to receive them for about two to three months. Luckily I had enough supply to get by. David was instrumental in resolving the issue, which stemmed from my vision benefits. He followed up diligently and handled everything with professionalism and persistence. The matter ultimately resolved with my insurance, and I was impressed by his level of service throughout. Overall, a very positive experience with attentive care and strong follow through when an issue came up. I will definitely be back!

900 am, October 02, 2025…read more I'm on time. Check in. Fill out paper work. No one ahead of me. Then a few minutes later, a customer comes in and checks in. WTH, she gets taken ahead of me to do her standard testing before me??? Whatever, it's definitely unappreciated, moving on, minus one star. My time's valuable too. I'm assuming that my optician wasn't ready to test yet as she wasn't the same person I observed earlier. Okay, examination time. I did one standard test, then was asked if I want to have the retinal images done for $29! Haha, later talked to Dr. Mike, he said every other year is fine. Maybe I had forgotten that there's a fee for this imaging. We move on to a different room and my periferal vision done the old fashioned way without a machine? It was one of those "how many fingers an I holding up" test. Then we did a pressure test with a tiny hand held tool. A very different experience from the prior year. We did a check of my 2 current glasses, one of them was my photochromic sunglasses. Both of them were very close to each other in prescription. On to the exam with Dr. Mike... Since I declined the retinal imaging, he did the dilation drops. I'm hindsight, I should have asked for the disposable sunglasses. It was so uncomfortable driving on a bright day afterwards, almost unbearable. Or be sure to have extra dark sunglasses in your car. He did the standard lens checking next. We did that, is 1 or 2 better thing with that massive machine in my face. The result was very little change. I guess I'll have to request the prescription electronically as I was not given a print out. Dr. Mike friendly as he's always been. His care is top notch, the best optometrist ever in my opinion. Parking: there's plenty of street parking as this medical office is in a residential neighborhood. However, in the rear of the building, there are a few spaces and one for disabled with a wheel chair ramp up to the back entrance.

Anyone with children knows the stress of taking them to a new doctor. But Dr. Mike and his staff seemed very experienced with little ones and made the whole experience fun for her while giving an efficient and thorough eye exam. Dr. Mike especially knew how to engage with her and make her feel excited about playing games to check her vision. My daughter loved it so much she pouted when we had to leave and chattered on the way home about looking forward to going back. The receptionist did tell me that I needed to change my appointment because it landed on a Friday. So I told her I'd call back after I reviewed my calendar.
