Great service from beginning to end! I always need nose pads on my glasses because I have a low nose bridge. I found World Optic through a quick google and Reddit search for local, affordable glasses modifications. I placed an order/RMA on their website on 1/26/26, immediately received an email with a prepaid shipping label, and the. mailed out my new Miu Miu glasses on the same day. On Tuesday 1/27/27 I received email confirmation of delivery to their shop and a separate email with assessment options and prices. I paid $79 for the basic option of nose pad modification. They even preemptively chose the gold nose pad arms to compliment the frames (I didn't add specific cosmetic requests in my order). By Saturday 1/31, I gave them a call to ask about the status of my glasses which they let me know were shipping out that day. Today, 2/2, I received my brand new, perfectly fitting Miu Miu glasses and couldn't be any happier! After another call asking for a response, finally the manager Ray responded with a lengthy email. Long story short is they agreed to redo the polishing, this time by a different staff member, and I am happy to say that the main issues that were not present ahead of me sending them in were resolved. However, they still left polishing compound on the silver, and also inside the frames where the lenses are held there is some gunk (see new photo). Honestly exhausted dealing with the situation, so I'll just get them cleaned at a local glasses shop to take care of it. Really surprising that they still couldn't get it 100% right after so much back and forth and time, but at least I got my glasses back in the correct condition overall so bumping up to 2 stars from 1. read more

First time customers. (Also go by fixmyglasses.com). Husband broke his new glasses he bought at another eye store. He needed the nose bridge/saddles fixed with require soldering. Very difficult to find an opto store that can do soldering repairs. I called at 2:30 on a Friday and inquired with a gentleman, said they were open until 6, yes took walk-ins. We drove there, took an hour in peak traffic but so worth it. Worked on the glasses that same day, they did a great job. Prior to finding World Optic, I had asked around at various reputable eyewear stores regarding a custom job, wanting to fit lenses from one brand into frames of another brand. World Optic is a great find. I've used them twice over the period of 2 years and both times, each experience was simple, affordable and extremely timely. In each case I fell asleep with my glasses on and bent the arms. I emailed them pictures of the frames and they immediately sent me a USPS shipping label with a general idea of what it would cost to repair them. I sent the glasses, 2 days later I get price confirmation, I paid, and within a few days my repaired and nicely cleaned glasses were back in my mailbox. It was appointment only but I came in without an appointment since I was in a hurry. Needed to get one of the nosepads on my glasses replaced, because the screw's stuck and I can't unscrew it. Not only did they replace both nosepads for me free of charge, they also straightened the prongs they were attached to so the glasses would sit evenly on my face! It wasn't a requested service since I was too shy to ask in case it costs money, but they did it for free as a kind gesture. I recently had two pairs of designer sunglasses fixed by WorldOptic and they did a phenomenal job. The first pair, my Chanel sunglasses, the lenses had both popped out and wouldn't stay in. They did an overhaul, front frame polish and fixed the lens eyewire. I first took them to Chanel and they said it would take almost 3 months to have them fixed. World Optic repaired them in less than 3 weeks! They also fixed my Louis Vuitton mirrored monogram sunglasses that had previously been fixed by Louis Vuitton. The nose pad Louis Vuitton previously repaired fell out within 2 weeks after repair and I had to wait 3 months for them to repair them. World Optic did a great job of overhauling the nose pads and frame and did it in less than 3 weeks. The other great thing is that I live in Virginia and mailed World Optic my glasses by using their online repair system. I've been told that plastic frames just don't work and there are many risks may occur since it's rare to get nose pads for them. On a verge of giving up, I got a recommendation to visit World Optic! I can't say enough good things about my experience with World Optic. My dog chewed up my best pair of computer glasses, broke the hinge, and left me with sharp wires on the ends. Their ad had popped up in my Facebook, and I decided to give them a try. My only other choice was to pay several hundred dollars to get them re-made at my eye doctor, and I didn't really need the lenses. Using their online process, I sent in the glasses for evaluation, got an estimate that was extremely reasonable, paid it, and got my repaired glasses about a week and a half later. I didn't know what to expect, but when I opened them up, I couldn't tell where they had been repaired or know how they accomplished this feat, but I have my good computer glasses back and I'm thrilled. Just in time too. The same dog chewed up my backup pair even worse, so they're going in to World Optic for review shortly! I wish I had taken a before picture so you could see the quality of work they do, but I will be sure to do so with this next set I will be sending in. read more

As much as I have gone on and on about my eyeglasses frames I'm sure you are sick of my reviews. The repair learning experience is complete. I must say World Optic is worth Five Stars. They should offer a Yelp discount for mail order though. I'm a little too far away to check in! I've been posting photos through the process. It certainly went as smooth as possible. Today my eyeglasses arrived and they looked great. They even replaced the nose guards. Although I'm not sure I like silicone I'm glad they are new. The old ones were pretty dirty when I got a look at them. The frames were packaged secure. I'm saving the box and bubble packing for future use if the occasion arises. They gave me a lens cloth too. Where I go from here remains to be determined. I may put the old lens back in the frame or use my new prescription. I'm going to price check filling the prescription again. I was visiting Target Optical when an employee who had the same problem I did (plastic frame glasses sitting just a little bit too low on our faces) mentioned that World Optic adds nose pads to glasses and recommended I check them out.
