    World Optic is simply the best optical lab! When other labs have turned me down, World Optic has always pulled through. I bring them my safety glasses frames, prescription, and they fabricate the lenses for me. I have an astigmatism, and now in my late forties, I have bifocals and I absolutely love my lenses from World Optic. Jordan and the staff are great and their 1-year warranty is terrific. I've been using them since 1997 and will continue to use them. These guys are the best.

    I love these guys. They fixed my broken glasses in no time. I was asking everyone if they could fix my broken hinge and nobody but World Optic could do the job. I found them online and I'm over the moon with how efficient and convenient their service was. Writing a good review is the least I can do as a thank you. I know where to send my broken eyewear now.

    I recently had two pairs of designer sunglasses fixed by WorldOptic and they did a phenomenal job. The first pair, my Chanel sunglasses, the lenses had both popped out and wouldn't stay in. They did an overhaul, front frame polish and fixed the lens eyewire. I first took them to Chanel and they said it would take almost 3 months to have them fixed. World Optic repaired them in less than 3 weeks! They also fixed my Louis Vuitton mirrored monogram sunglasses that had previously been fixed by Louis Vuitton. The nose pad Louis Vuitton previously repaired fell out within 2 weeks after repair and I had to wait 3 months for them to repair them. World Optic did a great job of overhauling the nose pads and frame and did it in less than 3 weeks. The other great thing is that I live in Virginia and mailed World Optic my glasses by using their online repair system. They made it so simple to use, the service and repair were great and the pricing was very reasonable! I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again!

    I've called around optical shops and optometry offices to ask if they do nose pads on plastic frames...no success. I've been told that plastic frames just don't work and there are many risks may occur since it's rare to get nose pads for them. On a verge of giving up, I got a recommendation to visit World Optic! I called them and they were very friendly, ensuring that they are able to add nose pads with a fee ($59 for mine). Great value considering not many places do this service. I visited World Optic on my free day without needs for appointments and they got it done under 1.5 hrs! They also have an array of glasses and sunglasses to check out, but those are based on appointments. Thank you, World Optic.

The doctor is professional, easy to talk to, and has a very relaxed, chill demeanor that made the appointment comfortable. I was also recommended Optase Hylo Relief dry eye drops and they've been great. They keep my eyes lubricated with contacts and feel noticeably better than other brands I've tried. David, the office manager, is very straightforward, sometimes blunt, but always clear and helpful. There was a miscommunication with my contact lenses that left me unable to receive them for about two to three months. Luckily I had enough supply to get by. David was instrumental in resolving the issue, which stemmed from my vision benefits. He followed up diligently and handled everything with professionalism and persistence. The matter ultimately resolved with my insurance, and I was impressed by his level of service throughout.     900 am, October 02, 2025…read more I'm on time. Check in. Fill out paper work. No one ahead of me. Then a few minutes later, a customer comes in and checks in. WTH, she gets taken ahead of me to do her standard testing before me??? Whatever, it's definitely unappreciated, moving on, minus one star. My time's valuable too. I'm assuming that my optician wasn't ready to test yet as she wasn't the same person I observed earlier. Okay, examination time. I did one standard test, then was asked if I want to have the retinal images done for $29! Haha, later talked to Dr. Mike, he said every other year is fine. Maybe I had forgotten that there's a fee for this imaging. We move on to a different room and my periferal vision done the old fashioned way without a machine? It was one of those "how many fingers an I holding up" test. Then we did a pressure test with a tiny hand held tool. A very different experience from the prior year. We did a check of my 2 current glasses, one of them was my photochromic sunglasses. Both of them were very close to each other in prescription. On to the exam with Dr. Mike... Since I declined the retinal imaging, he did the dilation drops. I'm hindsight, I should have asked for the disposable sunglasses. It was so uncomfortable driving on a bright day afterwards, almost unbearable. Or be sure to have extra dark sunglasses in your car. He did the standard lens checking next. We did that, is 1 or 2 better thing with that massive machine in my face. The result was very little change. I guess I'll have to request the prescription electronically as I was not given a print out. Dr. Mike friendly as he's always been. His care is top notch, the best optometrist ever in my opinion. Parking: there's plenty of street parking as this medical office is in a residential neighborhood. However, in the rear of the building, there are a few spaces and one for disabled with a wheel chair ramp up to the back entrance.

First attempt was just before lunch, voice mail with greeting stating on odd address 1601 E Chapman... I hung up not knowing the true situation at this point. I tried again a few hours later at 330 pm. I confirmed my appointment but learned Dr. Mike's schedule is Tu-Th and he did join AFEC. The receptionist did tell me that I needed to change my appointment because it landed on a Friday. So I told her I'd call back after I reviewed my calendar. I was fortunate that I was going to be down in the OC area to have a get together dinner. So I called back to officially change my appointment to a Tuesday. To the administrative staff, please don't give lead times with utmost certainty if you weren't given a certain arrival time from the manufacturers or vendors you purchase from. I had my appointment in early June to get new contact lenses. Upon leaving they told me my trial lenses would be in within a few days. It's more than 1 month past now. I got an email saying they'd ship out July 15, so I called on the 16th to get an eta and they said WITH CERTAINTY, they'd be in within a few days. Well it's been more than a few days. I even doubted the person I was talking to but she seemed positive. Come to find out, they don't actually get arrival times, so.... I understand delays and feel I've been patient enough and really didn't want to have to write a review. But just don't say you know when you actually don't know. That way I could've ordered elsewhere and saved myself some time.
