I found World Optic on the internet and thought why not give them a chance. I had a pair of plastic rimmed glasses that I love but they did not fit well (low nose bridge) I sent them off from Washington to California hoping they would be able to install nose pads on them with making them look like it was an add on. It took a total of 10 days from when they sent a received email to when they returned to my mailbox. Much to my surprise they look AWESOME! They even used materials to match my glasses. I found out about this place from a Google search - as they are an affiliated to Fixmyglasses.com it seems I had a damaged pair of beautiful raybans (bent frame, lens popped out) that I needed fixed. Rather than mail them in to the online site, i decided to drive to their actual location, it's not too far from Irvine It is in a decent safe location w easy parking. I went there in the afternoon. There was only a brief wait before I was helped. The place was very clean and bright. It took them only a few minutes to fix what i thought was serious damage, the raybans looked as good as new, and when I asked how much ? they said "no charge" I was like what ? I insisted on paying but the repair technician and the associate (Jordan) said the damage was easily fixable and they typically don't charge for such things. In this day and age when every large corporation is out to price gouge and cause pain to consumers, this type of above and beyond service was a refreshing change of experience -- I would give them more than five stars if I could. read more

When I contacted World Optic they were very upbeat and positive and said to bring the glasses in to make sure they could do the work. The screw that secures the right lens broke on my favorite pair of glasses. Needless to say they were totally unusable. Amazing speedy service! My rather new glasses had a nose piece break off unexpectedly. I called my optometrist to ask them to assist with the repair. They said they did not repair glasses, but I should go to World Optic in Fullerton to see if they could help. I walked in today hoping they could repair my glasses quickly as it is the only pair I own. The person was spectacular! They took my glasses and noticed the other nose piece looked like it might break also, so they took it in the back and within 5 minutes my glasses were better than new! I simply cannot say enough about World Optic and I mean that in the very best way. I found them online while looking for someone who could replace the lenses in my old Ray Ban Wayfarers. My husband has a difficult prescription and decided to give them a try. One pair of new Oakley prescription glasses with transitions, a pair of Ray Ban Clubmasters upgraded with a new prescription and two pair of old Ray Ban non-prescription sunglasses later, we couldn't be happier. Omar from World Optic was awesome. Not only was he able to fix one of the hinges on my eyeglasses on the spot for free! He was also able to fix a pair of my old Ray-Ban Wayfarers. My Ray-Bans snapped at the bridge, but Omar was able to fuse both pieces back together, while also adding a little extra support. You can hardly tell they were ever broken! The service here is quick, friendly, and a lot more affordable than having to toss your old frames. There also is a large selection of affordable eyeglasses, with many well known name brands. I took two pairs of sunglasses for repairs. The first pair was a vintage pair of Ray Ban. Ray Ban (Luxottica) said they couldn't be fixed. One of the temples broke off. When I brought in, WO said no problem we can fix. The second pair was a pair of Dragons. The lens had scratches. They replaced both lenses. Dragon couldn't replace lenses through their parts department. The price was beyond reasonable. And repaired within two days. Awesome service. I'll be back for my next optical needs. read more

Just popped in to get one of those little rubber nose guards. I was immediately approached by a young man who came walking out of the back. I told him why I was there and he replied "no problem " took my glasses and said "I'll be right back". A few minutes later he came out with my glasses. He replaced both the guard and adjusted my glasses which were out of wack. No only did he do and amazing job. He's a likable guy and very respectful.
